They don’t want to announce it yet because they don’t want to strip steam from the release of Part II. But after the first couple weeks of release I’m sure we’ll get something. Best part is they’re releasing together on the same day. 3+ hr cuts of both films. I’m excited to see it the way it’s intended & I’m sure, even if it isn’t perfect, it’s going to feel more fleshed out & establish toss world a lot more than what we got. Snyder never disappoints with his Directors Cuts.
Zack's Justice League basically is the definition of anti-movie with some poor structure barely holding it together so he does disappoint. Can't wait for the directors cut of this disaster tho to explain why a starving fleet would blow up a resourceful planet, why grain enough for 200 people matters so much for a flagship with a crew of 3.000, why the bad guys can't replicate the Murderbots, how on earth a spaceship can run on coal, why we should care about a protagonist who isn't said because she betrayed her princess but because she couldn't get away with it or the other 5 side characters all of which have the same backstory. Zack really outdid himself this time around.
The PG13 was OK. Not Snyder's best (and with a few jarringly dumb moments), but still entertaining... but I couldn't escape the feeling it was neutered, the action clipped. I remain genuinely hopeful the R-Rated Cut is as violent as he says, because the movie needed that edge. I wanted Heavy Metal meets Star Wars. And it sounds like we may yet get it.
I thought it was completely dumb the way Kai was just like yea I'll join you guys. Like each character joined in without any words exchanged. Quite clearly feels like all the character moments were cut out and it made the movie feel empty. The payoff for the major moments didn't feel deserved either. It's dissapointing that this is the way this movie went. I'm hoping the directors cut, with what they're saying is an hour of runtime, is much better
@@MrRmmk1 Kai's joining struck me as weird and dumb, too, though ultimately it made more sense than some of the others, given his character arc. The thing that bugged me the most was when one of the characters decided to sacrifice themselves by literally stabbing a space ship... instead of, you know, shooting it. Why? WTF was that? I still didn't hate it. It had it's moments and there is something kind of unabashedly ridiculous about it that I can respect. So, I am looking forward to the R-Rated cuts. Considering that Snyder was given total creative freedom for this one, there's no reason for a director's cut. Especially since it wasn't given a major theatrical release, making it very risk-free, commercially speaking. It's basically saying that the audience is wasting their time with the version that's currently available on Netflix.
