Lucifer doesn’t know how to deal with kids because of them being naturally innocent, and not many die that young go to Hell. So no wonder he’s so awkward around Trixie or treats her like an adult- he barely saw them in Hell.
Also take in mind that the only childs that he has directly interacted with are the ones in hell, so think: what kind of stuff do this childs did to end in hell as such young age?

He already sorta did that. Remember in the first season he made a deal with God so that he could protect Chloe and Trixie. Also in Season 4 he clearly stated that he would do just about anything to protect that little urchin.
Also in Season 4 when a hitman came for Lucifer while Trixie was there, Lucifer took them down in seconds. Like we've seen him throw down before, even with people he cares about being in danger and usually he's kind of casual. In this fight he looked ready to tear the hitman's throat out.
Like when she has the drawing of her and him and he has a red eye and the other is winking, how would she know he has red eyes and i think she believed him.

I think she misses having kids around. I honestly think she became a master of small chaos bc she *had* to be when she had Cain, Abel, Seth, and her daughters to raise..any mom will tell you running a house with kids in it is pretty much organized chaos. Adam didn't seem like he was very emotionally involved with their offspring, he would've been more of a 'hey, I killed it and brought it home, make me a sandwich, woman' type. Ironically, the Devil turns out to be more of a nurturing father to his offspring(biologically related and otherwise) than the first human male.

Trixie got the dagger in her hand in season 5 but it did nothing to her because dagger gets into everyone feeling and and enhance their fear to overcome and kill someone.
Thinking that, Trixie doesn't have any fear so she easily picked it.

after watching season 5b and what happened in the end..... trixie loving lucifer cuz he’s the cool uncle who doesn’t lie is heartbreaking. their relationship is truly something else but omg i have never cried so hard after what happened.

Trixie is someone WE ALL can learn from. Never judge someone based solely on appearances or what you hear. Judge yourself. Talk to them, get to know them cuz maybe you’ll see something no one else does. All it takes is someone to listen to.

I think she misses having kids around. I honestly think she became a master of small chaos bc she *had* to be when she had Cain, Abel, Seth, and her daughters to raise..any mom will tell you running a house with kids in it is pretty much organized chaos. Adam didn't seem like he was very emotionally involved with their offspring, he would've been more of a 'hey, I killed it and brought it home, make me a sandwich, woman' type. Ironically, the Devil turns out to be more of a nurturing father to his offspring(biologically related and otherwise) than the first human male.
Trixie is the bees knees - pure awesome kid-ness. I am me, I like you - that's all I need to know 🤭❤. A scene and heart stealer. She rocks in every way.
