I’m a bIack girI, born in the 21st Century, born in Jamaica, grew up in The Bahamas and I Love Creedence….now that’s gotta say something about their Iongevity, reach and universaI appeaI. 🙏🏾❤️✌🏾
John Fogerty was CCR the rest were talented but John was the brains of the group. I don't know why they were jealous of John he was clearly the star. He wrote the songs. They proved they couldn't match his songwriting.
Yeah..I'm from Nassau Bahamas, grew up listening and grooving to numerous musical groups from the 70's & 80's those were the decades of legends...we witnessed the birth of Rhythm & Soul, jazz, funk, rock & roll , rap , smooth love songs...There will never be a culture with so many talented musicians! Their music will be playing , copied and sampled for the next 2 centuries!😎
I saw them at Newport 69, held at Devonshire Downs (now gone) in Northridge, California. They came on around sunset, and the crowd went wild. Now, 55 years later I can still see him up on stage belting out Proud Mary. I was 16. Other than my wedding day, and the births of my children, this was one of the most vivid, powerful, memorable moments of my life. John was the Alpha member of the band, and deservedly so. However, his ego alienated the rest of the band. Sharing did not come naturally to him. Cosmo and Stu are both such humble and wise men. Thank you for this enlightening video.
CREEDANCE hanging on my records shelf among SKYNYRD, GRAND FUNK, AEROSMITH, And the others 'im talking American bands always really great to get back to litsened to them Great band
Should have pointed out the opinions would be skewed since neither Tom nor John were interviewed for this production. But good anyhow because I grew up loving this band, and still do to this day. Loved seeing the old performances.👍🏻
Iam glad you noticed that! These AH’s try to puff up Tom Fogerty’s role. Tom Fogerty rugged the other 3 & quit the band! Now you know why John wants very little to do with Cook & Clifford!
His band members didn't write sing or produce the hits but. They expected to be on equal footing with John. Amazing hubris and lack of gratitude. They got a second career based on his songs, and they had to stab him in the back.
To Bad that Doug, Stu and Tom were So Jealous of John and All his talents. They were the Ones that Broke up the Greatest American Rock Group... "The Night of The Generals" and Marti Grass , the worst Album ever released by a Major Rock Goup....
Total BS. There is only one CCR member who moans and sooks luke a 3 year old and blames everybody else, for everything. But never does any self reflection. Pure sookie.
Y si ellos estaban celosos y envidiosos todos eran la orquesta y John era el cerebro y quizás la soberbia de los tres Tom, Doug y Stook , terminaron con el corazón del alma que era John,
Shame on John Fogerty for doing away with that gap in his teeth. It was quite endearing. My son has one. As long as I have any say, he's not having it "fixed." Bring back the gap, John!!!!
I guess that John Fogerty in his old age still shows signs of being like a resentful girlfriend. Very talented guy, no doubt, and very controlling for what I understand. I’ve been listening to these guys since my youth, still listen to them. CCR to me will always be the four original guys. Tom must be laughing from the heavens thinking nothing has changed after so long. Long live CCR. ☮️
He has a reason to be resentful. All those guys became jealous, and turned on John. Then sold out to John's worst enemy. When it came time to give the record company more songs due, John was the only one on the hook.
@@michaelharrington75 in understand that it’s his version, we will never know, he even had problems with his own brother. I do enjoy Fogerty’s music, saw him a few times and truly enjoyed it.
They played so well but unfortunately jealousy from 3 of them ruined them staying together! Proof is the 3 did nothing after that except play John’s songs. Sad

John was perfect for the style. He wrote songs that are the most memorable of all time.

So cool! Thanks for sharing
Funny how at the end when the credits roll, CCR is listed as Doug Clifford, Stu Cook, Tom Fogerty, John Fogerty. Shouldn't John be first?
John was a damn fine guitarist.

Love ccr forever❤❤

John was way more than "adequate" on guitar!
Stu: "John, as a guitar player, adequate." Jealousy broke up this band.

Love CCR❤❤❤❤❤
Most rockers from that time are passed away. These guys look great
That’s because they weren’t hard on themselves!
Motorcycle riding ,Beer drinking music ,thanks CCR
Thanks....just thanks for sharing this masterpiece¡¡

Tom just couldnt measure up. John the genius. Doug tries to exalt Tom--yeah, good luck

That's why he refused to play with them at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.
Damn shame music broke up two brothers.
Wasn't music, but jealousy.
Lets hear doug and stu's songs😂
John Fogerty was Creedence period
They had their chance on the Mardi Gras album.
They sucked

@@Leo-zg3zdWTF are you yapping, about?
Not fair to fans calling your self Creedence without John fogerty big voice

I think Tom could have sung some of the songs…he had a good voice.
He had the chance on Marti Gras, however, he quit!
Cook and Clifford=Judas

Мне 68. Я и сейчас слушаю ССР. Как услышал в СССР, так и слушаю ССР.
Is that a vial of blood around Stu's neck?
