Been a fan of Mr. Fogerty and CCR since I was 9 years old. I'll be 63 in a couple of months. John Fogerty and CCR saved me from suicide when I was in my early teens. Just read his book. It's an eye opener. When I listen to John Fogerty and CCR, the whole neighborhood listens as well. Keep on rockin' John. Love ya, man.

I’ve been listening to CCR since the beginning. When my son came along, when he was six years old I took him to see John Fogerty in Boston. My Son had a White Red Sox Jersey on I managed to get tickets in the sixth row in the middle. At the end of the first song ( Born on the Bayou) John tipped his hat, saluted, and bowed to my son. Immediately my son started to jump up-and-down yelling dad he said hi to me dad he said hi to me and tears of joy started running down his face. Me and my Late Brother Michael were floored. I can never thank John Fogerty enough for what he did for my son. It’s something none of us will ever forget. John Fogerty , you are a great human being. Thank you so much. And one last thing , thank you So much Julie Fogerty for coming along and Thawing John out. God Bless both of You. 🙏

John's playing in this video, clearly shows his blues orientation. Swamp Rock, the title, doesn't quite get at the root of what motivated John. Also, in this interview, you can see that John is not a Hollywooder. He's real. He's articulate, humble, and down home. He's a great advertisement for the East Bay. He's minus the appearance of schmooze. PS: John, don't apologize for being articulate. Your explanations were full, clear, and interesting. If I remember right, your mom was a teacher. Maybe you got some of your communication skills from her? That's what good teachers have: the ability to simplify, clarify, and make concepts accessable to people. PS to the PS: I saw Creedence as a three peice band, at the Oakland Coloseum. Tower Of Power and Tony Joe White, were on the bill, too. You rocked the house. Everyone was eventually out of their chairs. I still remember that sequened waist coat, shining in the stage lights, that you were wearing. You, were a one man hurricane. Great memory. I'm amazed. I can't do with ten chords, what you do with three. That's talent !

I endorse your ideas however, they should drop it all for a couple of concerts, one in Berkeley, one in maybe New Oreleans, maybe New York/Woodstock. Millions would stream in to this. But it would have to be soon I think. Unfortunately.

There had been rumors that they were invited to reunite to play something for the 2020 inauguration, but obviously that didn't materialize. If they did reunite for something, I would probably go into a shock-induced coma for several hours.
