  • There’s been a lot of this happening: Foreigners pointing to Canada [there’s 3 links there] as an example of what not to do. It’s because, in just the last decade, Canada has gone farther than anybody else on a whole whack of progressive issues, and a lot of them are yielding unintended consequences.

    My favorite story out of Canada is a paraplegic woman lived in a house that had stairs leading up to her front door. She asked the government for aid to pay for a wheelchair lift so she wouldn't have to crawl up and down the stairs any time she had to leave her house. The government denied her request because they said it " Wasn't financially viable" for them to pay for it and instead offered to pay for her to " Euthanize" herself. They literally went " Eww, a cripple, we're not helping you, delete yourself"

    In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.
    There are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions, welfare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits and the numerous other programs, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.
    Multiculturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Socialism bankrupts a country.

      If you think multiculturalism doesn't work, why move to the Philippines? In the Philippines, multiculturalism seems to flourish. Various different native groups (and outsider influence, including but not limited to Japanese, Americans, Spanish, Chinese and even Germans occasionally) seem to hold many different cultures. Cultures do clash, undeniably, but the Philippines is representative of the fact that multiculturalism can work. Besides, you need only look south to America to see how multiculturalism works as well.

    As an American, it’s weird. When I was young Canada as was model state, one that the US needed to emulate because they just seemed to do everything better domestically than we did. No, even with the scores of issues US society has, all but the far left think that Canada is a country worth emulating.

      You might be ok with being censored and controlled but I am NOT!!! Freedom of speech one of the many things that made Canada great!! People NEED to learn to think independently and develop CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS!! One of the many things NOT being taught by educational systems anymore!!

    • @thespokenword6456
      @thespokenword6456 15 дней назад

      @@sehalleran1 But that is exactly the problem. People do not have critical thinking skills. There are people that believe Earth is Flat, Lizards rule the world and vaccines cause autism, democrats are communist, climiate change is fake and 'chemtrails' are real to name just a few. Freedom of speech is dangerous because it's misused. It used to be fine when the lunatics would stand and shout on street corners, but now they type online and find even more people that agree with them. Numbers add legitimacy.

Wake up its not left VS right, it's Up VS Down.
