You can also just lift that side of the engine that the turbo was hard to go in or come out with a gearbox stand
I took my turbos out without taking off the trans. It still had the stock exhaust. It was easy to get to the bolts but they were stupid tight... i welded up some wrentches and extensions to make special tools lol. Not bad of a job though

I wonder if we were to use an engine support bar up top so we could loosen engine mounts and gain additional clearance... will try soon on my baby and update

Will he still pass smog in California with those upgrades.
Plus in Cali you can’t upgrade down pipe to 5 bolt
