I have one. A 1991. Garage kept since 2000. Ttops, 2 seat only, 5-speed manual trans, triple black stage 2+. Just had timing belt service 120k done. Valve covers finally leaked after 34 YEARS, cams were excellent shape. Mostly maintenance and very few and minor repairs. Solid car, no rust
a lot of potential with this channel , maybe some audio work and a few tweaks here and there ive owned a few Z32s in the 90s and early 2000s turbo and na . if i were t get another it would be a na model to keep it more simple and be a nice cruiser . they do surprisingly well at -40f
5:31 400hp is very basic breather mods and a little boost on a VG30DETT with stock turbos. You get more power and torque mod for mod from a VG than you do from a Skyline RB26 and Its no heavier or more complex than the skyline or most other similar performance vehicles (e.g mkiv Supra). The V6 layout does make some jobs harder to do than other cars, but its really not a difficult car to work on, especially compared to more modern cars.
1000% SPITTIN facts here. The v6 layout just makes things cramped, it is a "simple" motor in the grand scheme of things, especially compared to anything modern or worse, coming out of Germany 🤣. Unfortunately the dett takes the showcase, the de's get no love unfortunately (I don't think they deserve any love anyways but yk what I mean 🤣)
1990 TT owner, i have had my Z since 2016 with all the breather mods tuned on E85 flex fuel on stock turbos pushing 460 wheel horsepower and 550 torque. The key to these cars is preventative maintnance. It is expensive to maintain however its worth it, thats why i purchased a second 300zx, a completely stock silver 1992 TT. The real Godzilla of the 90’s that landed in the U.S.
Have one of these in my garage but this car been throwing a fit with me for the past year. Same color and everything as yours, watching this vid to reignite the flame on my Z and get this beast back on the road. Been a Z32 owner for 4 years, takes a toll on the soul LMAO true that there isn't tons of info on boosting the z32, so many old heads back in the day insisted the NA couldn't be boosted. But the FACEBOOK FORUMS are the way to go for real Z32 resources and info. In the community it's well known that a e85 boosted NA engine is a fantastic option and the resources are very much there for help. Just the stigma around the car from people who don't follow as deeply that it's just not worth the time to work on the engine. Definitely covered a lot of great points on this video man, by far my favorite car ever WHEN IN RUNNING SHAPE.
Built my VG30DETT bottom end in my living room. It’s great to see some people are putting the spotlight back onto the iconic masterpiece called the Z32 FairLadyZ. Nice video, young man.
I’m building a VG 300zx TT. And i’m going through the full build and tech talks about it. I feel you when you say all the other z32 stuff is either sparse or old. I’m glad guys like you and Billy Built are doing it too.
its old but its all still valid. I built mine using guides from a few of the different sites and they are extremely comprehensive with very good guidance. They're just text and photos which I actually prefer to video. Mine is very reliable and makes 600+ on E85 with close to 500k kms on the chassis.
Great video. Very well done. I'm glad to see car guys appreciating these gems. The 80's and 90's were a great time to be a car guy. So many great machines.
Wow! Please keep at it. This is so worth it. I can definitely see your inspirations coming through. It's a very engaging format. I couldn't agree more with your take on the platform. The lack of info out there is frustrating but I've inched my way to 540whp so far. I filmed myself doing a bunch of work on my car to try and contribute to the community but I suck at editing so they sit there :( maybe one day.
My first TT, a '93, dynoed 335 at the wheels in 4th gear with a mild remap, boost raised to 1 bar, and an exhaust. My 2nd TT, a '92, dynoed 408 at the wheels with 91 pump gas at 1 bar. JWT Sport 500 Turbos (the mildest turbo upgrade you could do), 555cc injectors (retrofitted the '95 harness so I could use the newer pintless injectors), intercoolers, exhaust, and boost controller. Occasionally ran 1.2 bar with 100 octane but never dynoed that.
I swapped my slick top NA to TT. Long road, but worth it. As someone else said, from the stock TT motor, light mods get you to 400 and the engine doesn't really need opened up to get a ton of power. Nice video and stick with it.
z32 owner here! Another problem is that no aftermarket company wanna develop and invest into this flatform. If you search up any honda throttle body, you will find like hundred and thousand of brands like skunks, ktune, 4piston,... Look up any part for z32, 0 to none. I personally contacted a few companies trying to have them develop some parts, but answer is that the flatform is dead and they wouldnt make profit. Z32 doesnt get the same treatment as supra 2jz and thats the hurtful true.
It’s a beautifully engineered machine. I’ve driven mine daily for 6 years now with only a tps failure. I have no quarrels with the design and think most people that own them just do not perform or have others complete the necessary maintenance and check ups. A few magazines did iterate that they cost the same in maintenance per year as a Porsche which is why I assume that a large percentage are “on jack stands”. Either way, with my personal experience and the noteworthy racing pedigree this platform has achieved, this vehicle stands above most of if not all the other “legendary” TT Japanese vehicles of that specific timeline. Feel free to object since a proper debate is needed and healthy.
another unsung hero is the g50 platform q45. It uses all 300zx suspension and it's parts are famously used as upgrades to both the 300zx and the 240sx.
I did a TT conversion on a NA back in 2006. Wasn't to terribly difficult. Be smart with the tune, run good fuel, and keep the boost low. (I mean other than having to do the turbos from the bottom)
I have a 93 TT spent 50k on it in a jdm shop in houston Texas. Being a 300zx owner is nothing but frustration. Essentially juice aint worth the squeeze. Cause when its all said and done, ive spent so much I dont even wanna drive it no more 🤣🤣🤣 thats a lie, but yea, video spot on
Hey cool video. I have a 1990 na car but built the motor and boosted it. I used stock size 8.5 to 1 wiseco pistons, race bearings, ARP main studs and head studs, a tt oil pump and heavy duty valve springs . I have a single 3076 turbo and only pump gas 93. It made 502 to the wheels and traction is now an issue. It can be done with a large oil cooler and good cooling system.
I've owned two of these cars: a 90 N/A and a 91 TT. The NA was my first car haha. Super fun cars, very comfortable, and a V6 that actually sounds good what's not to love? Unfortunately these engines being cramped means heat destroys the electrical and rubber lines in the engine bay which is a source of a lot of the weird issues people tend to have. I will say despite most never running at 100% these engines rare pretty hard to kill. I always think about going back to a TT since it's the only 90s JDM legend you can get that isn't a million dollars (let's ignore the 3000GT...) Edit: also there are turbo kits for the NA that I was looking into. I remember a few years ago people were saying the NA might make more power easier when single turbo'd cause of the higher compression. Not sure what happened with that. But the TT is very easy to hit 400 hp with intake, exhaust, chip.
You are so correct young man when it comes down to the z31, Vg30, z32, vg30ett 84/89 for sure. It's like no one has love for these engines or cars WTF. Yes i have 87 z31 been going at it for 3 years or more and almost have decided to scrap the entire project. The-Z- store has some parts but beside that you just about have put entirely different types of engine these Z's $$$$$$. It is what it is If I had to do it all over again by picking the car it would be the USA. Do to the parts issue. Great video young man I hope it all turns out good for you. Peace
It is a high maintenance lady that is for sure, and if you aren't into fixing them yourself, the bills are not going to be pleasant!! There was an influx of them in my neck of the woods about 10 years ago, RHD ones, but now I rarely see one driving around other than myself. Haha your dad knows the pain....
Own a 90 N/A. Bought back in 2014 at 19 years old for $850 blown transmission drove it for 2 years but wouldn’t pass smog (California) and now it’s been sitting because I rarely have time and money lol
Please go watch some Billy Built videos or if you want a piece by piece breakdown, watch The Aussie Shed. He has been working on his project car for 2 years, but has touched every part of the car. There are great videos out there. Even my boy Caden Parsons puts out quality videos about building 300ZX. Each one of these RUclipsrs be putting in work.
There are a lot of VG build videos out there. I own a 92NA slicktop.. currently doing a rebuild. Going with forged bottom end, cams, injector & fuel pump upgradeevery bolt-on I can get. As much light weight replacement I can get my hands on. It's not that hard to work on when you know what you are doing. No videos since I have owned mine since 03. Engine is being built by a shop that have been working on Nissan for years.
Great video bro 😭 this is my favorite car. Can you drop a more in depth video on this car, because I’m such a bot when it comes to cars, or do you have a discord server or something?
Billy built is in this comment section somewhere, he can agree, there isn't that much content out there in general. Not saying it's zero but in comparison to how many tutorials and indepth how tos there are for an s chassis or a civic, the typical z32 RUclips build is usually a swap of some sort vs keeping the original vg
Man, I will share every aspect of my 300ZX NA-TT build, I just need someone to film and edit it! I’m definitely no RUclipsr but I know my way around the Z32.
It's cuz we z32 owners are too busy working on the car to film 🤣. I actually want to do something I don't think many people have done. Vg30e swap with a little side of BOOST 😁.
(Sorry for the big paragraph, I thought i'd share my thoughts) I think the Z for the most part has received a huge amount of unnecessary backlash in recent years. Quite simply they are very well built, reliable, sporty cars which have plenty of power from the factory. When people start messing around with their advanced electronics and installing cheap mods for quick power, it makes sense for them to give you grief. I'm sure it would give the exact same amount of issues as its competitors like the Supra or RX7, however the Z will receive all the criticism due to it almost being a trend to hate on it because of a few people's bad experiences. (Not to mention a tight engine bay.) I believe if you leave them alone they'll treat you well, which is very tempting to not do, considering what they can offer with a few mods. I own one in TT form and its bone stock engine wise, had it since 2018 and it's never given grief. If their engines were 'that bad' I highly doubt they would've passed the production line and lasted a whole 11 years (1989 to 2000) in Japan. It's taken time but i think people are just now starting to appreciate them for what they are, and the important role they played during what could be considered the golden era of JDM cars. Without the Z, the a80 Supra wouldn't have been as good as it was, nor would its other competitors. Keep in mind the Z32 was in production since 1989, 4 years before the Supra and such! In short though, I think it's a car which very well has received alot of undeserved hate, and I guarantee if it was in some of the movies its competitors were in, it would most likely be seen in the same light as the other JDM icons, regardless of their problems.
Paragraphs are more than welcome! It's definitely a mix of age and social media outlook that had gotten th z32 and I would also throw the 3000gt into the similar boat. But you are right, leave it stock and life treats ya good 🤣. (Also with it's age now even stock motors are plagued with electrical and wear issues that are stupid annoying to try and figure out, unless you got yourself a clean and actually decent example of a z32)
@@rfbblitz I agree with the social media thing. The whole car culture has shifted towards following the trends. 'no manual it's not a real car' for example. And a huge trend is obviously backlash and hate towards certain cars which have spread over time. Obviously being a 30+ year old car you can expect electrical issues and other things but these are all maintenance items not known problems. When going in to buying old cars you need the right mindset. Anything at 30 years will break you have to expect it, even the world famous indestructible 2JZ Supra or the bulletproof Honda Accord V6 or whatever people say will break at one point in time! Time wins in the end for anything. 😂
@@rfbblitz ofc!! Would u mind if I ask what focal length you use?? I just upgraded from my phone camera to make stuff on YT with and I need to pick up a decent lens😅
Well it rly depends on what body you are using, I actually want my next video to be on how I shoot cars. But my gears pretty trash 😅. Sony A6000 so it has the crop sensor And I use a sigma 16mm which is my bread n butter, 16mm on an apsc sensor is essentially 24mm on a full frame. I want an a7iii soon, the cinematography is there just not th sharpness n resolution in my videos 😅
@@rfbblitz no way man I have an A5100 (with a modded mic input)! I was looking at getting that lens, 24mm looks really good here. It’s a great sensor, esp for the price lol. An A7iii would be fantastic. The Sony pipeline is real lmao. I’m just getting into videography from editing so I went with something a little more budget-friendly, but that’s definitely the next step up for me as well.
@rfbblitz oh for sure. Already deleted the coolant lines to the throttle bodies, EGR, cruise control, fpr and damper (replaced with aftermarket fpr), and deleted the PCV system (shaved the plenum too so it's easier to fit the boost piping in and out without removing it. I deleted power steering and AC as well... but driving it for a summer in texas changed my mind on that one. Lol.
#1, these cars brand new were expensive for their time. $30K for an NA and $35K-$40K for the TT. I know because I was 15 when they debuted in summer of '89. I used to always kick tires at the Nissan dealer trying to talk them into letting me test drive one, but was always turned down. They're equivalent to today's M2, M3 or like a Darkhorse Mustang, a $70Kish car #2, the TT was fast for its time. You didn't say it was "slow." But again, the TT was equivalent to a mid, low 12 sec car of today e.g. a V8 Camaro, C6 Corvette, 5.0 Mustang, M2, M3. #3, the VG is too cramped and hence people avoiding them. I own two Z32s, a TT and an NA which I'll LS3 swap with LOJ's kit. Screw the VG30DE. That motor is not worth it. If you really want to build it up, supposedly Merlin Machining has a turbo kit that can pump 700hp out of the NA VG30DE.
See finally a z32 owner who's commenting some sense here instead of immediately switching to defending the car with their life 🤣. Im actually on the lines of either doing the LOJ kit or doing some I think is original, VG30E Swap and then do a big ol turbo. I think that would give me the most "simple and reliable" route to 400ish HP than trying to work on my VG30DE. 😅
I just need someone who I can call while I figure out what the hell is going on with my 1990 300zx tt w the 400hp pack on it just trying to learn all I can 😭
If you think the 300zx is hard to work on you probably havent worked on many cars. The only thing hard to do is pull the upper intake plenum off. Everything else is easy and easy to get to.
@@blackCamaro833 substitute hard with tedious. And or compare that to a d16 and the 300zx is like a German engineered monster in comparison 🤣. It's honestly not that bad but i would never consider it easy to work on, even with small hands. I can get the plenum off within 25mins at this point so that's not really a big deal, but the fact that that has to move to do anything else is pretty annoying (it is pretty though, so it's worth it 🫡)
@rfbblitz hah yeah but even pulling the transmission in a 2000 4 cylinder s10 is harder then a 300zx. Doing a motor swap on a nb miata is harder then a motor swap in a 300zx. And d9nt get me started on working on modern cars haha
@rfbblitz well depends who makes it. My 2019 camaro is very easy to work on. A example is like when I was working at my buddy's shop we changed downpipes on some audi awd twin turbo v8 and it took 3 days of cussing and swearing and throwing tools. We had to use about 10ft of 1/4 extensions all the way from behind the rear diff to get to some of the bolts. The audi manual calls for pulling the Trans out of that car to do that job and we weren't about to do that
And FYI these are some very reliable car's . There are a lot of jack asses that dont know how to care and maintain them, drive them, Mod, them or repair them. the biggest issue is that this car take a fair amount of money and most people dont have it. thus the BS cheap route of the LS swaps. Be creating like the Guys that were swapping in the VH45 V8 from the Q45
Any motor is reliable when taken care of correctly, but if the typical "bad" owner can thrash on a b series in comparison to a VG...it does mean this motor is more picky to live with. I've seen plenty of high mileage and or big power vg builds. But even the owners of said builds aren't defending the car. It's an intermediate engine at best not an easy one, I'm sure you can agree to that. Or not doesn't matter to me 🤣
@@rfbblitz No because I drove the shit outta my Z and was rare that I was below 3k rpm and never had one motor issue or go. also you are trying to compare a cast aluminum 4 cylinder economy car to a VG that dont work. the issue was heat in some cases and pour care and FYI even hondas B and K series engine fail often when modded and beat on because I have killed a few. Bottom line it was and is a reliable engine it was the same engine Nissan raced with for years before dropping it in the 3 00zx from the GTP ZX- Turbo cars
I'm not shitting on the vg lmao, I'm just stating the facts. Everyone's quick to defend this motor but not quick to support the owners of them 🤣. The fact is this is a more picky engine, end of story, yeah it can hold power and yes it can go 300k+ miles. But if it was really that perfect, it wouldn't be in the back alley of FB marketplace with the "slight misfire, ik what I have 6k or best offer" listing. Poor care is in terms of the owners, and it is mainly knowledge keeping them from that. I'm making this video as to the why in the world are there so many people who love these cars (including me, I wouldn't buy and own one if I didn't) yet not willing to support owners when they run into the beginner pitfalls of this motor. The only real "easy" to access information is. "Hey do the 120k timing kit" or "This is what you need to do a NA-TT swap"...Not a single turbo na build, much less a na build in general that isn't a JWT chip, bolts ons and
This z is as me as it gets! And I already have a Miata 🤣🤣. I actually have plans for this car I just would rather save up and build it all at once rather than have a non running car getting built over 2 yrs 😅 And we are keeping the VG 💪
I always believed the lack of attention the 300zx received was justified. Mainly, because there were other better lookers, better performers. Not a fan of boxy squarish design language - looks like a 5 year old designed it. It wouldn't be my pick of Nissan's in the 90s, I would gladly take a S15 over a 300zx.
I wouldn't consider it ugly, I think it is quite gorgeous, but you are right, there were absolutely better picks out there. But the 3000zx, SVX, and 3000gt got lumped in the same lack of attention category and it's just how it is 🫠
Rare car, and not really what I would call affordable. I Pray that people who get them don't do what is done to the one in the video...keep the rims tasteful, and get proper mufflers that fit the appearance of the car.
Not a fan of the red TE's but I get what you mean. Affordable is a subjective thing for sure. But in company to the heavy JDM tax on its competitors (supra/skyline/rx7/etc) it's way way on the cheaper end for sure.
Very uneducated bias review! You’re just adding to the false misinformation that’s already out there. Such an easy motor to work on if you read the FSM & delete all the unnecessary emissions, vacuum lines and coolant lines.
This is exactly what I stated in my video 🤣. "A very biased review" Followed by "the general consensus is to just delete everything" not build it. But if anyone wants to prove me wrong, show me a channel that actually went in depth in this chassis, not just a 2jz, sr20, or RB swap build.
@@rfbblitz what is your end goal? There’s tons of information. I agree 100% with the lack of videos but nothing a good fb group post can’t get you in the right direction. That’s how I learned to build my vg30dett. You should check out billy built. He doesn’t the pulsar turbo build with polar engineering manifolds. That’s a expensive build though.
@@ElSesh I've seen some of his videos! Super informative stuff, end goal is a reliable 350hp outta what I have which I know is doable, but the main purpose of this video is to see how different sides of the z32 community responds. We are split 50/50 for sure. I have seen reliable VG30's. I just don't see why there are so many clean z32s and not much social media support for them. The real goal is also to share info on this chassis just like he does 💪 (and or devalue tf outta the cars so they dont overinflate like 240's XD)
Yupp, I was going to send my car to them while I was still in CA, but I ended up moving early so... probably shoulda let them once over it at least before I made the trip to NC
Why don't you just buy a Honda Civic Type R instead? Do more with that car model than deal with the bullshit working on the 300ZX. Lot less expensive too.
You should know that sitting or leaning on a car is a monumental NO-NO in the automobile enthusiast community. I understand that it's your car in the video & that you can very well do what you please with it. Unfortunately this discredits any attempt you're making to convey an honest & trustworthy video that is intended for an audience of car nuts. It's not the kind of bad habit you want to accidentally reveal at a car meet on another persons car. Even its completely by mistake it's usually not a pleasant outcome.
Who doesn't lean on their car huh? It's not like it's fiberglass and gonna dent. I'd understand if I weight 3 metric elephants but dude what? Anyone who has a problem with leaning on a car isn't a car guy 🥱🤝 I'd stand on a roof before I ever listen to what bs you just said 🤣
Where, I don't see any videos showing how easy it is to push power from an NA motor. Not saying it can't be done, there just isn't a large support group on the "how to". It's a lot of "already done built cars" doing a Dyno pull or street pull. Not a "hey guys so here's now to do the work to get this setup"...not even a "I didn't do the work but I went to ___ shop and paid xxx amount of $" 😅
Great video !

Got bored rebuilding my silver twin turbo and this gave me motivation 🙏🏼🙏🏼😭
YOU GOT THIS! (Pls I need motivation myself 🤣)
Built my VG30DETT bottom end in my living room. It’s great to see some people are putting the spotlight back onto the iconic masterpiece called the Z32 FairLadyZ. Nice video, young man.
Jealous! And thank you were gonna try. 💪
Great cinematics!!! When you are back in the bay we must do my Z.
Keep going my friend. You are doing great.💪
I'll be back 2025 summer for a whole month man I'll put it down on the schedule 😁💪
Yessir! We'll get her in a good state soon, just tuition is taking up the car funds ATM 😅
You're on your way. Good communication skills, intelligent content, good enthusiasm. Well done.
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback, we're trying 🫡😅
VG30DETT owner here. Z32 is not relliabile but it's a fantastic car! Great video, telling the truth.
z32 owner here!
HOLY SHIT THE VIDEOGRAPHY!!!!
Insane video man, fucking incredible, please don't stop making videos!!!!!

@@omgmakai yesssir! Taking a mini break to finish saving up the funds to bring mine back to life again. But I have a few videos coming soon 🫡
Currently waiting on my 300zx to be done from Zshack. Did a full rebuild and TT from a NA.
Let's GOOOO I wish you the best 💪💪
@@BlaineDownforit LETS GO! I'm happy to hear that, mine will be getting all those necessary fixes and should be back on the road shortly 😁
@@rfbblitzI’m happy to hear that! Put the time in, do it correctly like I know you will and then enjoy it. 😁

I will say this is by far the best video I've seen on our Z32s
another unsung hero is the g50 platform q45. It uses all 300zx suspension and it's parts are famously used as upgrades to both the 300zx and the 240sx.
My Z32 is almost 30 years old. Not a single issue. Ever. Speaking of the 'reliability' and 'issues'.
I did a TT conversion on a NA back in 2006. Wasn't to terribly difficult. Be smart with the tune, run good fuel, and keep the boost low. (I mean other than having to do the turbos from the bottom)
That supercharge sound def gave me goosebumps OH YUH
I always think about going back to a TT since it's the only 90s JDM legend you can get that isn't a million dollars (let's ignore the 3000GT...)
Edit: also there are turbo kits for the NA that I was looking into. I remember a few years ago people were saying the NA might make more power easier when single turbo'd cause of the higher compression. Not sure what happened with that. But the TT is very easy to hit 400 hp with intake, exhaust, chip.
Brilliant video. Love these cars and that is a monster
I remember seeing these beasts till about the mid 2000s... Now it's a rare sight to see one... And I live in socal in the middle of the car culture!
I daily a 95 z32 and thankfully I've had no issues with it so far. I have a z31 project that is my real baby though haha
Felt ya there bud, cheers to another 100k miles 🥂
You are so correct young man when it comes down to the z31, Vg30, z32, vg30ett 84/89 for sure. It's like no one has love for these engines or cars WTF. Yes i have 87 z31 been going at it for 3 years or more and almost have decided to scrap the entire project. The-Z- store has some parts but beside that you just about have put entirely different types of engine these Z's $$$$$$. It is what it is If I had to do it all over again by picking the car it would be the USA. Do to the parts issue. Great video young man I hope it all turns out good for you. Peace
Awesome intro gave me goosebumps!!!😮

Great video bud love your passion
Bring it to me and lets make some high quality vg30de builds. Those red wheels look cool.
these cars are worth every penny you throw at them, just getting to the end of building mine, hoping for 700hp
Dude you're great on camera and funny. Please review more cars.

Yea billybuilt the z32 guru does some wild stuff to that vg motor. I'm cursed with the 96 model 😭
GET IT GOING BRO! Best wishes 💪
One of the cars very close to my heart owned two ❤😢
Making 400whp with a vgtt is pretty simple, and reliable if maintained. I sold mine 😢, but I can give out the build sheet.
perfection is an illusion 😵💫
Great video bro 😭 this is my favorite car. Can you drop a more in depth video on this car, because I’m such a bot when it comes to cars, or do you have a discord server or something?
Thanks man! One day mine will get up in running in a good way. You're more than welcome to DM me on insta or sumthin. I don't have a discord server 🤣
For builds and setups, check out the Aussie Shed or Billy Built. Doesn't seem like you looked very hard.
We do need more content on these though I agree!!!
I currently have a z31 with gt3582r turbo and would love to build a z32 in the future.
I'm trying to do a hybrid between a z31 and z32 build for my car, soon soon 💪
(Sorry for the big paragraph, I thought i'd share my thoughts)
I think the Z for the most part has received a huge amount of unnecessary backlash in recent years.

Well it rly depends on what body you are using, I actually want my next video to be on how I shoot cars. But my gears pretty trash 😅.
Sony A6000 so it has the crop sensor
And I use a sigma 16mm which is my bread n butter, 16mm on an apsc sensor is essentially 24mm on a full frame.
I’d say it’s pretty easy to make 400hp on the tt motor but good luck doing that with the NA
That's wut I'm saying 🫠.
I've never been so into the idea of doing deletes as i have been since owning a 300zx. Lol
@@SWZ32TT please do em...it's literally all useless aside from resale value to a collector 😭
They're equivalent to today's M2, M3 or like a Darkhorse Mustang, a $70Kish car
#2, the TT was fast for its time.
Interesting styled video. I can tell you watch Jason Camissa. Excellent vid overall.

Anything newer than 2012 I'm not going anywhere close to 🤣
@rfbblitz well depends who makes it. The audi manual calls for pulling the Trans out of that car to do that job and we weren't about to do that
DIY coming soon
Pleasee be our saving grace and to a tt build on ur na🙏
In a year or so once college isn't a concern, but I got a spicy and I think original build coming up 😁
And FYI these are some very reliable car's .
Bottom line it was and is a reliable engine it was the same engine Nissan raced with for years before dropping it in the 3
00zx from the GTP ZX- Turbo cars

I actually have plans for this car I just would rather save up and build it all at once rather than have a non running car getting built over 2 yrs 😅
And we are keeping the VG 💪
But in company to the heavy JDM tax on its competitors (supra/skyline/rx7/etc) it's way way on the cheaper end for sure.
cars cant take boost bro the damn car engine was designed for boost smh cast iron blocks and all
Very uneducated bias review! You’re just adding to the false misinformation that’s already out there. Such an easy motor to work on if you read the FSM & delete all the unnecessary emissions, vacuum lines and coolant lines.
This is exactly what I stated in my video 🤣.
"A very biased review"
Followed by "the general consensus is to just delete everything" not build it. But if anyone wants to prove me wrong, show me a channel that actually went in depth in this chassis, not just a 2jz, sr20, or RB swap build.

Anyone who has a problem with leaning on a car isn't a car guy 🥱🤝
