Tarmo 5 assembled in Freecad 0.22dev with built-in Assembly

  • This is a video showing the assembly of the Tarmor 5, which is a RC car that you can find on the internet.I speed up the process, but it's almost 30 minutes.I did some mistake, so I had to fix it, which allows me to test if the changes were easy to do on the assembly.So far, I did not experience any crash on the software.That's quite interesting. However, the way to build the assembly is a bit counterintuitive as we are not supposed to have all the parts done when we design. So, a good experience would be to start from scratch to build the same design and get an overview of the in-context assembly capabilities of this last assembly workbench.
    I previously did it on assembly 3, the real Thunder branch. This is almost the same approach. However, I don't think that the nested assembly are possible inside the actual assembly workbench. Or maybe the structure of the sub-assembly needs to be think before making the assembly itself. need to dig it
