I have failed you Anakin, I have failed you I should of known that the Jedi were plotting to take over! Anakin! Chancellor Palpatine is evil! From my point of view the Jedi are evil! Well then you are lost! This is the end for you my master It's over Anakin I have the high ground You underestimate my power Don't try it You were the chosen one, it was said that you'll destroy the sith, not join them. Bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness I hate you!!! You were my brother Anakin, I loved you. If you've read this far then...... What about the droid attack on the Wookies?
This is perfect. I'm super impressed with the clarity of it all. Most performances the choir gets drowned out by the powerful instrumentation. Here you struck the perfect balance. An amazing feat!
@I Not entirely true. I think he was at his peak around the early 80's. He has made some excellent stuff since then of course, especially around the late 90's. But since around 2002 the complexity and creativity of his music has diminished quite a bit. The Last Jedi had so many reused themes it barely even was its own soundtrack. And the new themes were decent at best, compared to his earlier masterpieces.
1:50 great job, that rhythm seems really tricky and for everyone to play so tightly in sync there is impressive! I’ve been trying to transcribe that bit just so I can know what the actual rhythm is besides just “syncopated” haha.
"I have failed you, Anakin, I have failed you." "I should have known the Jedi were plotting to take over!" "Anakin, Chancellor Palpatine is evil!" "From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!" "Well then, you are lost!"
I have failed you Anakin, I have failed you. Quite possibly one of the most heartfelt lines of the entire thing. Obi-Wan acknowledging that he was not there for Anakin in the way he needed to be when it came to his dreams, fears and turmoil. Obi-Wan acknowledging the mistakes of everyone else as well.
Is a vocalise. One word only at 1.45 RATHAMA is sanscrit. It's a word of a celtic poem The Battle of the trees. Some words are used in DUEL OF THE FATES not for their meaning but for their sound. Williams asked to translate them in sanscrit from the celtic.
But it's the best live recording out there that I have found. Sounds like the recording more than the performance. This orchestra is one of the few to have a conductor who actually knows exactly to portray John Williams in live performance.

It describes the conflict of
Anakin Skywalker, and then
The turmoil of Darth Vader
Exactly!!!

top 3 SW songs imo

Yes: you got the point!!! Thanks for your comment!
Nader Zein Thanks a lot! This is one of the most challenging pieces ever. Very difficult for the orchestra a very difficult to make it "clear"
How can John Williams be this talented
Genius, experience, hard work every day, an open and given heart, humbleness.
Thanks for watching!
I count him among the greatest composers of all time. Beethoven, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Williams.
absolutely
+STNeish Don't forget John Barry!!!

Reason why I love episode 3 because of intense details of what happened and its emotional to see 2 brothers fight each other
the people performing this dont know how much more powerful this made the battle between Anakin and Obi Wan.
Thanks for the comment!!!
What about the droid attack on the Wookiee’s ?
The most epic soundtrack.
It can go with almost any battle.
The prequels shit all over the new sequels

vox1868 Yes very difficult: The secret is to have the horns sounding really FFF as rhythmic guide.
Simone Pedroni that makes sense!
So many emotions... Great performance! :)
Thanks for watching! Endeless compelling and very demanding for the orchestra...

The Chorus performance is like Oficial Sountrack! WOW!
Dans quelle langue chante le chœur ? Est-ce qu'ils disent des paroles?

@@simonepedroni68 I actually liked the musical score for The BFG because John Williams made the music flow with Roald Dahl's classic children's book.

This performance is a little laboured and feels like it's running with sticky feet. The brass section lacks punch and should be much more bombastic.
But it's the best live recording out there that I have found. Sounds like the recording more than the performance. This orchestra is one of the few to have a conductor who actually knows exactly to portray John Williams in live performance.
Fimucite's version was quite well done, in my opinion.
Luke Nichols It's alright except almost immediately you notice that the strings are not the best.
