You made this video some time ago. Does the medical situation for getting on with a primary care physician still long?
@@audiophileman7047 Yes, and I do not think that is only in Boise. From talking with doctor friends, it seems as if there is a national shortage in doctors and particularly specialists. I always suggest that once someone is sure they are moving here and their timing, begin working on getting an appointment with a primary care physician and then take the steps necessary to transition to new specialists. In my own experience, I have found it easier to get in with primary doctors that are solo or have one partner rather than offices that work under the giant groups of Saint Luke's or St. Al's...but it is becoming harder to find doctors that are "on their own".

I really appreciate this informative video, Summer! I retired at the beginning of May of this year, and I'm getting ready for a move out of Calif. I'm a fairly young retiree, so I plan to work on some things I've always wanted to do in life. You won't find me in the rocking chair for a long time yet. I won't live the typical retiree life just yet. I really look forward to your upcoming videos on retiring in the Boise-TV area. After watching your video, I could feel the excitement building. The best thing about buying in the Boise market is that if you wait 6 months you can get todays homes for a thirty percent discount! So important for those whose 401k are currently crashing to half their values from 2021. Yeah!!

That's great you are coming to visit! It is very beautiful here right now. Make sure you take time to walk on the greenbelt by the river to see all the fall colors! I don't help with rentals - our MLS doesn't have any special access to rentals. The best place to find rentals here is zillow, hotpads.com, or apartments.com. But you can email me if you have questions about specific areas to rent and I'm happy to answer your questions. Have a great trip!

Oh NO PROPERTY TAX IS CRAZY!!! TAXES GO UP EVERY 6 MOS STOP AND THINK, GARDNER IS WAY OVER 150 TO ONLY MOW !!!! GAS IS ALMOST COST IN LOSANGELES!!! NO DEALS HERE I AM 66 AND OVER PAID IN MY HOME, FOOD&FURNITURE 10XS MORE THAN L.A. !!!!!! COSTS TO MOVE IS TO HIGH AND PEOPLE ARE REALLY MEAN !!!!! REALLY MEAN😵
