Thanks for posting this one! I have been trying to find this clip since I read about it in the book, "Private Parts". All I have found before were other Chevy clips, but none whatsoever went like this. Chevy has more humor in the others and never had that "how dare you call my home" attitude. I always wanted to hear this one for real. Thanks again!
Just look at Howard in the early 80s, he looked like a complete nerd with jam jar glasses before he reinvented himself with the long hair and rock star clothes. Bear in mind people stop reinventing their look before the age of 20, Howard was in his 30s.
Howard was jealous of good looking people in Hollywood. That’s what it’s all about really. That’s why he chopped his nose off and eventually went totally phony in the end.
Me and my freinds used to ditch class in high school to smoke weed and listen to Stern. We all ended up being working class paycheck slobs and drug users.. but shit... GOOD TIMES!
@@mr.brenman2132 Why do you think he's wearing a wig? Because he has a full head of hair that hasn't turned gray? I'm older than Howard, and I have a full head of dark hair. It happens.
I remember hearing this years ago. Chevy Chase handled this awesomely. Howard goes on and on about reliving the moment over and over and then goes on and on about how Chevy is obsessed? I'm pretty sure he's not. I defended Chevy and Howard blocked me on Twitter. LOL Can you imagine? I'm not allowed to follow him anymore.
It was 3 hours earlier for Chevy then for Howard . Time zone diffrence .Chevy probally was legitly half asleep, Imagine someone doing radio show calling you up before 7 unexpected ,when you were sleeping soundly . Chevy in an interview with Howard years later when they mended fences ,that moment was at 5:30 am for Chevy in california . Context is important.
how great would have been to hear Chevy Chase getting off the phone, hearing the woman struggle then crying and shortly after Chevy Chase picking up the phone again
Howard was really obnoxious, even then. He was abusing his privileges of having the phone number of his colleague and having everything come to a grinding halt just for him to come to the phone. Then, he mocked the women who answered the phone and demanded to talk early in the morning all for entertainment
Rest in peace, Richard Belzer.
Who gives a sht about Richard belzer
The one nut wonder
Imagine calling Howard at his home now. He would probably report it to the police.
And he was entertaining. We're you alive in the 90s?
@@jamie.777 what?
Hypocritical tool
He's an old cat lady now.
Stern would definitely be upset. Wonder why 👃
classic..."this is my home...and i dont like you." lol. i love Chevy Chase.
Belzer was always one of my favorite guests. Great tape thanks for no ads!
Chevy turned into Gerald Ford & Howard turned into Chevy!
I predicted this, as did others, in the 90s.
7:31 the giggle that Jackie lets out is where it’s at.

Even at peak Howard larping as someone with edge..when a real celebrity got mad, his grapes shriveled up.
As seen when EE Offen confronted him in studio.

That's how you turn a 3 second phone call with chevy chase into a 20 minute segment
God forbid someone do this to Wiggy when he is at home, what a jackazz
Lmao anyone remember the Stern prank call where he calls a pizza place and asks them to hold everything? 😂
That was sal he only wanted ingredients locally made and the guy kept telling him all the ingredients were from italy
No
@@halfogre6373Wow. That sounds so hilarious.

Howard turned into Don Imus.
RIP Bellz.
Howard talking about someone having a toupee meanwhile he's wearing a full blown wig
Me and my freinds used to ditch class in high school to smoke weed and listen to Stern. We all ended up being working class paycheck slobs and drug users.. but shit... GOOD TIMES!
I never knew Chevy wore a toup. Howard got some kind of hair system going on as well.
Chevy is certainly not wearing one now like Howard is.
Lol ya its called a wig

Howard got a perm
How old are u?? Your not funny
Howard Belzer and Richard Stern
Chevy was in the right her. You call a man at his home and throw him on a live broadcast, it justifies the bad mouthing you’re getting.
In a later interview with Howard after they mended fences ,Chevy saie it was 5:30 am in california when this happened .
I love chevy
I love howard
Shoot ,im old af
Whatever happened to Stern? He turned into what he made fun of.
Well damn Chevs really did kinda just shut Howard tf downn here huh?? Point Fletch.
Chevy Chase is money
Nothing But Trouble was a funny and great movie.
The glory days of bitter, angry, anti-Hollywood Stern.
Now he sucks them to completion
a classic
I’m pretty sure this was before 94.
91 maybe? they mentioned nothing but trouble
Spent 8 mins hanging on the end of a phone to be put in his place in under 10 secs. Well done chevy

Mannnn. The Pelican punked out on that MB call.
This 😂was great 👍.. love seeing chevy squirm
Chevy put him in his place and Howard immediately cowered
I hate when Chevy does his familiar, painfully unfunny "confused" bit like saying, "Huh, Howard Belzer?!?!....who??" Cringe worthy.

Plus he was always pilled up
Howard stern hes upset that hes not relative anymore and I am lol😢
That was beautiful Robin. Rip Chevy
Why are you killing off Chevy
Chevy is alive, it's his career that's dead.
@@EVzipper48 he's been gone bro. He's gone
@@thatlsk Chevy dead bro
Why did the pelican annoy Chevy Chase?
No talent Pelican.
hahah classic
Before Howard sold out and started bum kissing all the Hollwood beautiful people he used to goof on.
Belzer is so unfunny.
I think Nothing But Trouble is underrated. John Candy. Come on.
It’s not underrated. That movie was a steaming pile of dogsh*t.
@@davidsantacarla well, then clearly it must be

I’m sorry, but I think Chevy is funny….but it sounds like he has a low tolerance for others.

Sofa king lame
Belzer always sucked. Oh he just died.
Yeah, he saw your comment and decided to end things.
Epic!
