I was 3! Love this clip.Love Steve so much! I have watched him and listened to him since the early 60's.My dad was in love with Eyde and I loved Steve and still do. Think about him every day.I hope he is ok.Thanks so much for posting this clip!
My heart was broken when I read the announcement where Steve Lawrence said he has Alzheimer's. I have been in love with him and his singing since I was 2 yo which is the year that this clip was made.
There's a certain "swank" in performers of that era, and their music (and their lifestyles) that is not present today. They seemed more sophisticated, more "grown up" somehow.
So true! They had what they now call swagger. They had great looks, talent and a certain way they carried themselves on and off stage. All of these great legends of our lifetimes! So glad to of been around to watch!
Life's better when Steve sings. Glad you posted this!
Mr. Lawrence was and STILL IS tops!

Nice! Thanks for sharing! This short-lived, long-forgotten gem would be a great one to bring back for a look, half a century later!
Wish i was watching this live back in the 1960s.

Where is the rest of this show? Paley Archives has the complete first show. Where are the rest of them?
One of the last black and white variety shows taped at CBS' Studio 50 {"The Ed Sullivan Theater", after 1967} in New York.
Originally telecast on November 1, 1965.
Bob Wright speaks for Kent.
Would love to see the last show with his only guest Eydie!
Wow!!!! A great song from The Pink Panther, English lyrics by Johnny Mercer. Wish the whole show was available to see.

But don't forget these shows were only targeting a certain percentage of the viewing audience.

Can you post Connie Francis singing and comedy skits from this show ?
Why wasn't it the Steve and Eydie Show?
Because she wasn't his co-star, and she only appeared ONCE.
I am thinking that she was home with young sons - 5 and 3…
WHY NOT THE WHOLE SHOW???
This is a sample.
I understand this is a sample, but does more of the show exist? Would love to see Louis Prima, Gia Maione and Sam Butera!
