    I was 3! Love this clip.Love Steve so much! I have watched him and listened to him since the early 60's.My dad was in love with Eyde and I loved Steve and still do. Think about him every day.I hope he is ok.Thanks so much for posting this clip!

    My heart was broken when I read the announcement where Steve Lawrence said
    he has Alzheimer's. I have been in love with him and his singing since I was 2 yo which is the year that this clip was made.

    One of the last black and white variety shows taped at CBS' Studio 50 {"The Ed Sullivan Theater", after 1967} in New York.

    Wow!!!! A great song from The Pink Panther, English lyrics by Johnny Mercer. Wish the whole show was available to see.

      There's a certain "swank" in performers of that era, and their music (and their lifestyles) that is not present today. They seemed more sophisticated, more "grown up" somehow.

      But don't forget these shows were only targeting a certain percentage of the viewing audience.

      So true! They had what they now call swagger.They had great looks, talent and a certain way they carried themselves on and off stage.All of these great legends of our lifetimes! So glad to of been around to watch!

      Because she wasn't his co-star, and she only appeared ONCE.
