J.S Bach BWV 1034 Flute sonata in E minor - Andante - alto recorder

I play recorder for fun and i love Baroque. This is my version of "BWV 1034 - Flute Sonata in E minor - Andante" with Alto Recorder on Basso Continuo and Viola da Gamba accompaniment.

I'm not exactry sure, but it may be a MIDI sequencer. Too 'synth-like' continuo bass.

Bach needs very little adornment. He was Lutheran after all. The melody is exquisite all on its own. We all make this mistake as we learn. Fortunately for me, that stage was before RUclips.

What kind of wooden alto recorder do you have? please write, otherwise for the last six years I haven’t been able to buy a wooden alto recorder that doesn’t whistle or wheeze on the top notes. This is my problem.

Thanks for watching! I played this piece with an old moeck recorder in rosewood (rottenburg model)
For high notes try closing the rear hole almost completely.
