Wow, this is really one of the best iceland videos i've ever seen. Amazing drone footage, perfect colour grading and the choice of music couldn't be better. I was particularly fascinated by the title being blown away by the snow at minute 1:10. Is there a finished effect for this?
@@LukasFilms Many thanks for the quick info. I was expecting this answer because I worked on my last intro for about two days (but it's nowhere near as nice as yours) 🥴
WOW what an amazing video I'm heading to iceland in 2023 and after watching your video I'm more excited than ever can't wait. Well done great work. Cheers
Thomas Duthie thanks a ton Thomas. Glad you liked what I poured all of my energy into for the last while! Next video coming Jan 02, 2021... jk haha hopefully sooner
I saw a lot of videos of Iceland. But this one is unique. Never such scenes and landscape from iceland. You shown the amazing views that no one showed till now.
It’s Saturday night, there’s nothing on TV.. we just searched on RUclips for videos of Iceland (visited last year and loved it) and came across your video. Seven minutes later we are speechless, absolute work of art 👌🏼 thank you for such a treat 🇬🇧
Blown away!! Those shots are absolutely stunning!! I travelled Iceland and I don’t recall even seeming half of this. Can’t wait for future content!! 🤙🏼👌🏼
Aidanfedds it’s that highland magic 😉 most of these spots are only accessible via 4x4, or if you mind potentially flooding and totalling your suv/sedan rental car engine
wow! super amazing video! 😮 i have googled for an hour now but i dont understand: what video settings do you need to have youtube showing your video in such a WIDE cinema mode???
This is absolutely unreal. You captured the beauty of Ice Land in such a captivating way. I absolutely adore this video. Such beautiful videography. Thank you so much for this!
Rented a Land Rover defender with a rooftop tent from ISAK. Definitely recommend camping if you visit the highlands, however a van will likely not be able to cross the rivers safely to see many parts of the highlands. Best thing to do is to get a 4x4 vehicle with a snorkel so you don’t flood the engine when crossing rivers. Rental insurance does not cover river crossings. Very expensive if the car gets destroyed out there
Incredibly good. Flying, music, composition, car, colour grading, cut, location, quality. Everything is perfect. Just at 6:40 the yellow is to saturated for my taste. I leave a like and a subscription here and hope to see more. 👏😉
Thanks for this non comercial part of planet Iceland. Beside the brutality of video, I see here very smart use of rotation in post, and trassition in 5:43 that blow my mind.
Pretty warm in the tent with a winter sleeping bag. It was September so it didn’t go far below zero Celsius at night. The defender held up beautifully on river crossings
So sad you have only so little views! this is amazinggggggg!! Hands down the best on RUclips. And trust me I seen them almost all. Probs to you ! A real masterpiece
Thanks Ed! The text effect was created using many different effects in After Effects, but the primary one was CC Particle World. Spent around 12 hours on that title haha
Surreal bro, the colour grading is incredible along with mesmerizing location and Tony Anderson! Was this shot on an Inspire? Definitely worth those 200 hours 👌👏

This is insane! Those 200+ hours really paid off! The colour grading is top-notch 👌
Thanks crew! You dont want to see the chaos that is the 10+ lumetri colour effects that are added to some of the singular clips haha
Hello tms
Omg this blew my mind. Absolutely the best travelvideo of Iceland i‘ve ever seen. The colorgrading and framing is Hollywood level!!
Thank you Joe! Hopefully I'll make another Iceland video sometime in the near future!
WOW what an amazing video I'm heading to iceland in 2023 and after watching your video I'm more excited than ever can't wait. Well done great work. Cheers

Loved it, beautiful work and subscribed.
Dude went off in this video. This is nuts
Cheers Spencer! Glad you like it
Lukas, where do I start!! Colour, framing, SFX, text and text colour change, bruh the list goes on. That was awesome can’t wait for the next one!!!
Thomas Duthie thanks a ton Thomas. Glad you liked what I poured all of my energy into for the last while! Next video coming Jan 02, 2021... jk haha hopefully sooner
What do you mean Colour? I don't think Lukas did anything with the colours. That's what Iceland looks like in real life without any special effects :)
@@ThorsteinnK oh ofc
How does this video not have more views!?!?!???? I am at a loss of words
I saw a lot of videos of Iceland. But this one is unique. Never such scenes and landscape from iceland. You shown the amazing views that no one showed till now.
Thank you Om! I tried to take a bit of different approach with this video and show some of the lesser known parts of Iceland.
If not for the jeep, I would've thought I'm watching shots from Ridlay Scott's new Sci-fi movie. Awesome!

Thank you very much!
I’m sorry but oh my lord, the production value is freaking insane.
wow! super amazing video! 😮

Just upload the video in that aspect ratio! This is NOT a 16:9 video.
Iceland is like a magical kingdom breath taking perfect grassland and landscape.
Brilliant !!

Brutal footage man! Awesome work. Just Aesthethic.
Thanks a ton man!
why has this dude not blown up tho?????????.. people just feed on the same creators on ig. New algorithms make it so hard for new creators to grow.
Haha the algorithm isn't always super kind. My main platform is actually Instagram though, I just occasionally post some of my work here on youtube

Amazing, Lukas! 👌

Amazing work Lukas. Mind blowing shots and the grading was just top notch. Iceland really feels like a place from some other planet.

Man! This video is AWESOME!!! Really Emotional ..... and the quality is over the top! How many days did you spend there? What period of the year was?
Thanks so much Mirko! Spent around 3 weeks there in the month of September. Its definitely one of the best months to visit
Yo this was stunning! Were you using your own drone rig?
Yessir!
Cool! Thanks for sharing! How did you do the text effect blowing away in snowy mist ❄️?
Thanks Ed! The text effect was created using many different effects in After Effects, but the primary one was CC Particle World. Spent around 12 hours on that title haha
Outstanding! What did you shoot this with? Inspire or Mavic maybe?
Thank you! Shot on the Phantom 4 Pro, before I crashed it a few months later in Hawaii haha
Speechless of this wonderful video! You really did an amazing job! When (in which months) have you been there?
Thanks so much! This was filmed in September.
Amazing video!! My family is planning to travel to Iceland in the next few years. What roads did you travel? I'm assuming lots of the F roads?
Surreal bro, the colour grading is incredible along with mesmerizing location and Tony Anderson! Was this shot on an Inspire? Definitely worth those 200 hours 👌👏
The edit is superb! top-notch color grading! Do you mind to share your highland itinerary?
What is the drone and how do you color graded it? Btw amazinng video and your LR defender is soo nice
What drone is that?
What F-road were you on at the 1 min mark? Heading to Iceland in August to explore the highlands.
Hey Michael! I'm not certain on the exact road anymore, but it was somewhere up on a vast plateau area near the Katla Volcano.

Great video man! I agree with you. Recently did the same type of video on my page. ICELAND is amazing bro!
So crazy man!
My dream is to go bicycling there. Hope I don't get blown away by winds and washed off by rivers.

btw what is the name of the Song used please?
Happy to hear man! Spent way to much time editing haha
@@fkatv910 song used is "Oyarsa - Timbre" by Tony Anderson
Spectacular photography; annoying editing. Here, there, back to here, now over there, back to here again, somewhere else, zip, zap zoom. Spectacular!
