CARS Tour today is what NASCAR should be.
Leaderships and managements that knows how Motorsports work, hard and natural competition, no gimmicky BS and stupidity, let the racing do the talking and should be the entertainment. The natural competition.
I’m glad it’s doing well. Used to be USAR Hooters Pro Cup. Glad CARS Tour is doing well! Thanks to the current leaders and other workers for making this series the way it is!

I am 100% with Kevin on making short track racing more family friendly. I spent many years around the short tracks as a fan and as support staff and always just saw the fighting and the wrecking as 'that's the way it is.' Now I have a family with two small kids and I do road course (sprint) karting. On the road course side of motorsports they generally don't tolerate fighting and intentional wrecking, at all. I'm looking to move up, possibly into a Legend car, which would mean running ovals. I'm very hesitant because I know what can go on at the short tracks and I'm concerned about having my family there with me when it ends up being 'one of those nights.'

It's good to have a place (and we need several) to teach these young guys how to race and do it right because somewhere down the road we seem to have lost that as shown by some of the stuff going on in the ARCA and Truck series. I've seen some pretty stupid racing in both those series the last couple of years.
I don't want to see wrecks I want to see racing .... Almost 40% of the Truck Championship race was run under caution and that's just ridiculous. (not to mention boring) I see 100 lap dirt late models and there will only be one or two cautions in the race and those guys are sideways most of the time.

As myself a racer , the racer looks out for himself. But when I was track operator had to make sure I looked out for everbody. But so many racers, forget about what is good for all the racers. And I have had the unfortunate meetings with Track owners and operators who tried to divide the racers. Because most track owners in my experience don't want the racer to get together, just like nascar was afraid of the driver union that Richard Petty and other tried in the 70's. I know my, had my share and was barred from many tracks not for fighting ( which happen on occasion, but rare! ) but for organizating the drivers. Most grassroots drivers would pay the promoters to race if they could get a rule made for a part on the race car that they could have . That no one else has one or needs . They never think what is good for all the drivers and their track or series. . And DRIVERS ARE DUMBEST OF ALL THE ASPECTS OF THE RACING INDUSTRY. DON'T GET ME WRONG, THEIR IS MORE THEN ENOUGH TO SAY ABOUT THE OWNER/OPERATORS. I HAVE DEALT WITH IN MY 50 YEARS OF RACING. I've seen a lot in racing, And I still haven't seen it all!!!!

Need to figure out how to get a 2nd cars tour race at wilkesboro on the schedule for the year. It would be nice to have another race there like in September when the modifieds are there or something. Most of the other tracks have 2 races so it would be nice to have a 2nd one there too away from all the all star race traffic and distractions in may. Plus it’s like 5 minutes from the house for me too 😂

I don't know who reads comments but most hockey players prefer the NHL enforcer plan to the International just let the ref call it plan. The refs just miss too many calls and skill players take abuse that it never punished. In the NHL the enforcer goes out kicks the guys ass takes his penalty minutes and the game moves on. Sometimes the penalty has to be physical.
