I’m thankful for this testimony. It has given me a greater perspective. I see God is bringing beauty for ashes. The oil of joy for the spirit of heaviness; The body of Christ is working in the fields of harvest. God will reach many souls for His kingdom through this storm. His body has been mobilized.
Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa , CA was my home church from 1982 until I moved to South Carolina in 2017 I am praying for your church and the body of CC of Ashville. This is the only time I have ever regretted my aging body I so wish I could be there working, ministering, showing the love of Jesus. God be with you all!

I know how you feel about your aging body. I live in Texas and only wish I could get there to help. But I walk with a walker and loss my vehicle years ago to a fire. I was born in Winston Salem and wish I could be there to help. All I can do is pray and I've been doing that everyday since this has happened. God bless you sweetie 😘

I don't know you but I am in PA and I feel the same way! Would love to be able to go there and jump right and help in any capacity! However prayer is one powerful way to give of ourselves.

His name is Jesse. He lost his mom, his dad, a brother, aunts and uncles.
I think the name of their town was craig city because it was eight generations of families that live there on that land and built homes there.
Please keep him in the remaining of his family in your prayers. I just can’t even imagine.
I heard about him. Just heartbreaking! Will pray for him!

I came to the Lord in 1981 in San Diego through a lady who belonged to a Calvary chapel Church. God used Chuck Smith and the Jesus revolution to light on fire many people for Jesus. And the Holy Spirit is still moving! 🙌

This storm did so much damage, absolutely horrific but I truly believe there's also going to be many blessings that come due to the storm. I believe people are going to be saved. It also is uniting people and waking people up. We cant rely on our government but we can rely on each other.
Thank you for sharing situation with us, so far away physically as we are on Vancouver Island off west coast of British Columbia, Canada….but, only a prayer away as we know our precious Lord. We are now praying with purpose.
We pray for the brave people there. We were privileged to be members of Calvary Concow church, Concow, California. Up in the mountains, where the mountain lions and bears roam. Blessed to be part of that church. We had the opposite; fire, the Camp Fire (also known as the Paradise Fire), so now we live in Wisconsin. Hopefully, with time and help, your town will recover. And because of the wonderful sharing of help, you will be closer together!

In the last two years I've started following several online Calvary Chapel pastors, and I wish there was one in my area. I've never seen anything not to love about these people.
I'm from the church of Jesus Christ... and i love this message and these people.
When disaster happens. It's always the local churches doing the comfort, work, and organizing.

My wife and I live in Waynesville. This is such a wonderful testimony of Jesus with skin on people helping. It is going to be a long time for things to be rebuilt but God has purpose and plan for Asheville and Calvary Chapel.
It was so unexpected. However, it was double Blessed to be feet and hands of the Lord, as we served in Swannanoa, NC. With Billy Graham’s Organization and
Franklin is always boots on the ground in disaster. It was amazing to see volunteers from all over the county. To clean up and take these wet walls and floors out. Heavy work but praying with the Widows (92, the oldest) through out day. The churches and communities were there for the people.
No sign of the government. Myorkis said no money. He turned it into heartless America as billions went out of our country. We need leadership that can run a budget. Leadership matters. Praying 🙏🏼. Thank you for this testimony. We only lost power 8 days in Greenville. God Bless.

Am so loving people helping people, especially Christians. As it should be. No one did or could have predicted the damage. Great loss of life. So glad you are there to minister to the community. Detoxing is good. There will be grief and PTSD.

I came really close to moving from Michigan to Asheville. I had even a one way airline ticket. Then there came a time when I knew it wasn’t the will of Lord. I truly believe part of this was because God knew you guys would need prayer.

I never once heard this pastor say, I need to apologize to my wife and I need to honor and listen to my wife next time. She felt it was going to be bad & he slept through it. May YHWH bring you to His truth.
I understand what you are saying, but a man admitting that is huge. Also , God kept them there as we can see for His Glory and this Pastor was blessed. God's ways are higher than human reasoning.

God kept them safe right where they were and then used their position to help right where they were. It’s possible if they left, they wouldn’t have been able to get back and help. God has His Ways which are not our ways. ❤

Are these natural disasters the work of God? We really do live in a fallen world where evil happens. In the midst of this suffering churches tend to fill up, and we are faced with deep questions. We realize how fleeting our lives are and our need for for God ...
These storms are geoengineering and govt creates and steers them. Facts govt has been doing this for decades. Look at video The Dimming by Dane Wigington. Look into HAARP DEW weapons etc. The weaponization of weather includes causing drought, flooding storms earthquakes fires hugh hail. Also govt has sprayed many chemicals into the air. This is going on world wide. It's really bad. The air, water & soil is poisonous with aluminum for example. After a rain notice the dirty film on a car that is out in the rain. People have noticed snow that doesn't melt because of the aluminum etc in it. Get informed and pray & pray more! ONLY GOD can deliver us. God bless you all 💜 Love and Shalom ❤️
