Blue steel? Is it one of the Aogami steel versions? Really thinking about grabbing one here soon. This blade has really caught my attention. I love the history behind it.
Get it. Buy the right one though. The brass handle will tarnish really quick when you grab it, but the folded steel blade is awesome. It can get really sharp and still be sturdy. It does not bend.

@@keepmovingforward5576 No, this one seems to be an original. Got the right trademark stamps in Japanese on the handle. It's a "special" version were instead of the steel type, the name of Nagao Mitsuo is stamped into the blade.

Yeah the actual company still sells them and their affordable. It’s not that hard to get one.
But this is an authentic one, isn't it? Nagao is the only family left, which is allowed to call their knives Higonokami.
