Prayers for quick healing.
I can identify with Lawrence. My wife was an RN when we were farming and if she couldn't fix my mishaps I simply told her I would live with them. Fortunately she could fix most of them. I really appreciate Lawrence's outlook on life. People like him are what helped make this country great.

Put your foot down and trundle him off to the doctor. A one armed tough guy ain't very much help at harvest. Tell him he's going to the doctor or you're running the combine. Let him try to reason his way out of that. Much respect and regards from Indiana.

His hand is swollen because it’s not elevated. You can make your own sling out of fabric folded into a triangle as in the olden days. Its a great first aid lesson for the kiddos. Hugs! I will pray for Lawrence’s healing!
Austin, you keep learning also because you are learning something very important like Wesley! You both are learning how to productive self sustaining farmers which is a very valuable necessity in this day and age.

Mr. Wesley sure earned his allowance this week. He stepped up big time! Praying for Lawrence. He's a tough one, but something tells me he just might be a tiny bit stubborn. LOL!

Team Bernard all come together to get the jobs done. Wesley you are a godsend to your family and always willing to help. Austin enjoy watching you feed the cows and tap that bucket when the bucket is empty just like your Mom. Makes me smile. You are going to be a terrific driver. LB take care of yourself!! That hand is awfully swollen and must be throbbing . Please prop that hand and arm up on pillows above your heart so that swelling will go down. Also ice pack would help. That won't cost you any money so you can save that money you don't have. Meredith your million dollar smile is such a gift to all of us. Keep smiling and holding that family together!

Meredith you are Your family's angel ! Tell Lawrence when your alone that a one armed farmer is not an asset but a liability ! A quick x-ray removes all doubt and is not a sign of weakness ! Remind him that if he takes care of himself you do not have to worry so much about him .

Lawrence reminds me so much of my dad and I can tell it is just killing him to not be able to help with everything.

The cold packs will help the swelling go down faster. So faster recovery.
Great to see your kids and all the help they are to you. That takes patience. Watching Austin drive reminded me of the first ticket I got. I was 12 and we were hauling cattle to pasture. Dad let me drive home. We got to the highway and a state trooper went by. He turned around and stopped us. We got a warning but he said the reason he stopped was he couldn’t see anyone driving. Keep up the great work 🙏

Austin will be driving the Combine within a couple years. Wesley will be the mechanic that keeps things running. They are both great assets for the farm. You have to be proud of them.

The farmer needs an x-Ray. If his arm is swollen. He broke it.
I hope Lawrence heals quickly. Nice how your kids are eager to pitch in and learn and work. Andy at Farming Fixing and Fabricating channel has all of his kids running equipment. His youngest is about Austin's age. He runs tractors like a champ.
Good to see the bin assembly comming to an end, it's tough to spend money you don't have but if there is not an improvement soon a call to the doctor is warranted. I hope Lawrence improves on his own and wish him well,God Bless!👍

He reminds me SOOOOO MUCH of my Dad. Tougher than boot leather and stubborn as a mule, but LOVEABLE as all git out!!!!!!! GOOD JOB Austin on getting to drive. Oh yeah, what did Lawrence say to you in the truck about you driving the combine? And, you reminded me of the day I let my daughter drive my truck for the first time, thrilling for both of us.

You all have always worked together well - something I have never experienced in my three marriages. When something needed fixing, your whole family worked together to "get er done". I envy you all (or Ya'll). I was born on a farm in 1956 near Elkland, PA, and grew up on it until I turned 21 where I went to College the first time. Now, at age 64, I miss those innocent days of school and chores and good healthy living. Don't ever leave the farm! Life is too crappy elsewhere!
