My album #USEE4YOURSELF is about the lack of love in my household, leading to the want for love in my friendships and in women, which turned into the misuse of love with my relationships. This is the results of toxic masculinity instilled in my mind at an early age.
Growing up I always wanted my parents to show me unconditional love, but I only got it when I performed well in school or did something they approved of. Welp... I never performed well in school so that should tell you what you need to know. Growing up, games like RuneScape and Pokémon on gameboy were my ways to escape reality. I felt happy and safe in these games. I dedicated hours on hours to these games and this is why I’m focused on making my own customs gameboys and games for this album.

Damn this album hits close to home. Having ideals and dreams pushed on you and only receiving love and appreciation when you accomplish their dreams. I love my parents regardless but video games were definitely a source of escapism for me and I’m sure a lot of other people. Great album bro keep following your passions.

Very few recent hip hop albums would I even consider trying to listen to it all the way through without skipping certain tracks. I can honestly say this is the first album I loved all the way through since Freddie Gibbs dropped Alfredo...this shit is 🔥

IDK. This is genuinely one of the best albums that has come out in recent years, and I have very high standards. The songs are structured so beautifully and altogether it creates a uniquely structured, purposeful album. The effort that was put into every track is so obvious. I immediately sent this to all of my friends and told them that Cry in Church is one of the best songs I have ever heard. You will go down as one of the greatest rappers in my book (and hopefully everybody else’s book in due time). More music soon plz :)
Dude to go through the whole album and get to cry in church….it hit that much harder. So many conflicting emotions washed over me. I felt I took a quick field trip through this mans life over the course of those 40ish minutes and I could relate and understand him more. Best album I’ve heard in awhile.
IDK I've never really found an album that resonates with me so much, I'm in a place where I'm trying to find something of myself; love, religion, anything. My mom couldn't be there physically, mostly she was an image to me. The girls I loved thought religiously, but I thought differently. And they tried to change me, but I'm no one but myself. Is He real? Is Love real? Idk if I'll ever get the answer, but thank you for the album.

Think I'm over 10 full through listens now, this is truly an amazing project.
Rather than mindless praise after the first listen, I had to mull over this for a while to make sure it was just as phenomenal as I thought it was.
Firstly, the production on this album. HOLY. SHIT. Its absolutely amazing. Most of your tracks have had amazing production, the most crisp 808s and whatnot, but its so solid and strewn together on here; it truly represents a 'full project'. I was already impressed from 'Is He Real', but this is so many steps forward. This album is my #1 of 2021 so far, nothing even scratches it. Tyler's Call Me If You Got Lost was good, sure, but the message is hard for me to connect to. There isn't a person on this planet who doesn't understand the want of love from their families/mothers, and I'm so impressed with how you handled the message throughout these songs. I still listen to your cover of rain often, and hearing you bring up such a serious topic in a rather casual conversation in Jelly makes me incredibly uncomfortable, but more so sad that its still such a daily weight on your mind. Another thing I love about your music is your amazing narrative on religion. Instead of being radically for or opposed to it, you objectively broke down your gripes with it on European Skies back in 2019, and again on here you don't denounce it but rather state your belief that your, as well as most, family lives would benefit more from time being spent on familial love rather than religion.
Listen, I love your shit. I'm not much involved with any of the girl talk yet I can still feel so connected to your music, its truly a talent. This stuff is a blessing on the ears. Such a man that can make bangers in tandem with very emotional messages is very very rare my friend. Only comparable example of such skill in that field is the likes of Kendrick and some few greats. Your season is happening right now. I hope to find you in good health on your next project! Enjoy this summer.
