I'd recommend any and every LOVEBITES song and IMO they excel at LIVE performances. 👍👍👍👍
LOVEBITES are one of the most musically talented metal bands on the planet. They simply don't have a bad song in their almost 60 original song catalogue. If you like the classic metal sound from the 80s and 90s, then LOVEBITES will quickly one of your all time favourite bands.
Dark haired guitarist Miyako was 4 or 5 months pregnant in this performance, that took about 2 hours (with only songs as intensive as this one!) Guitar playing, piano playing, keyboard and keytar playing, background singing. The only comfort, that she used, was to omit the high heels this time (usually all of them except for the drummer play in high heels), that is so metal!
Lovebites is a phenomenal band. Love these ladies. great musicians .Glory to Lovebites
they are coming to America in September so far only 4 cities more to be added the sold out Prog Power in Atlanta and recently added 3 cities and tickets went on sale which led to 2 upgrades Dallas and Los Angeles both got upgrade due to ticket sales and they are also appearing in San Francisco

WOW......yeah Women of Wonder that is Lovebites, petite musicians who blend many metal genres and classical influences into their unique sound. LIVE this band of metal goddesses in heels and gowns will blow you away with their relentless pursuit of perfection on stage. They are they vanguard of the J/Metal scene and many all female bands who have helped Metal, Rock and Jazz flourish in Japan. Midori and Miyako on guitars (a/k/a M&M) are the best lead duo out there today and when they harmonize it is mind blowing to experience. This was a COVID show where the venue was totally dead (less than 50% capacity, social distancing, no yelling, screaming or singing, and clapping only) yet this concert rocks like few others. Anything LIVE will leave you stunned. The Wolfpack (fanbase) guarantees they will often surprise but they will NEVER disappoint.

LOVEBITES is a five-member all-female, Japanese heavy metal band with deep musicianship (plus classical music/piano background). They transcend gender, genre, and geography, with some 60 songs in their discography. They won Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best New Band (2018), toured with Dragonforce (2019), first female Japanese band to perform at Wacken Open Air (Germany) and others in Europe, and are unusual among Japanese bands in choosing to sing in English plus good lyrics (a daunting task for native Japanese speakers).

Best metal band to come along in decades. They are elite musicians. If they played in the 80's/90's they would be ranked up there with all the big boys. They are incredibly tight live. The 2 guitarists (Midori & Miyako) are among the best duos I've heard ever. Anything that is suggested will be awesome. Enjoy

The Wolfpack, Lovebites fans around the world, welcome you.
The members of the band are,
Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained as a Ballet Dancer and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. Writes many of the bands lyrics and sings in English, although some people struggle with her accent until they get used to her.
Midori, Guitar. The blond 'Amazon Warrior'. Also a body builder who has scored highly in competitions.
Miyako, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards. A classically trained pianist, she writes much of the music, often incorporating themes from classical works into her compositions. She is several months pregnant for this two hour long concert, giving birth to a daughter later in the year. Asami, the vocalist, also had a baby not too long after Miyako. These ladies are tough !
Both guitarists play lead, swapping back and forth. Their harmonised playing is a wonder to behold.
Haruna, Drums. Nicknamed 'Little BIG Engine' due to her short stature, 1.4 meters, and her relentless speed and precision over concerts up to two hours in length.

Miho left the band for personal reasons later in 2021 and the band went on hiatus due to Covid and two members being new mums. A new bass player was recruited in 2022.
Fami, Bass from late 2022. She was twenty when she joined Lovebites and still at University. She has her own YT channel with near 700,000 subs. Try her 'Alien Alien' bass cover on her channel for some insanely good bass playing from a then 17 year old school girl.
A few recommendations for further listening. If you enjoyed this song, then I think whatever you choose to listen to next, you will not be disappointed, They have a back catalogue of around sixty songs with not a bad one amongst them (IMO). I regard Lovebites as one of the very best bands I have heard in nearly sixty years listening to rock and metal. Going to see them play in London in just three days, Friday 14th June.

On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full.

On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry.

Here some information about them:
The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album came out in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of DVD/Blu-ray live recordings.
Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
Then came covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After a break LOVEBITES came back with new bassist Fami and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. A new album with the same title came out in February 2023.
LOVEBITES are touring Europe and the US this year.

She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer

She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd
Midori on guitars (crazy shredder):
Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete
Haruna on drums (little big engine):
Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food
Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers):
Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop
Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger):
We will never forget her, she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3

LOVEBITES. They are listened not only by metalheads. Ladies came out of their metal genre and have wider spectrum of fans.
They play Eclectic Metal. It means they blend as the first band in history all kind of metal mainly power and thrash with NWOBHM,
heavy metal, symphonic metal, speed metal,hair metal, hard rock, rock, rock'n'roll, jazz, progressive pieces, funk and even punk. They mix all with classical music using operatic, R&B, soul and gospel skills of vocalist and grand piano and Spanish guitar skills playing. Sometimes they use typical Japanese melodic lines which are included in ENKAs_ melancholy ballads singing by Japanese women. Only their can do it. Obviously they draw a lot from British, German and American metal. All this makes their style unique.

Congratulations, you just dove right into the deep end. Japanese metal is on an incredible roll, especially the women, who are kicking ass on an epic scale. Another great band you should check out, if you haven’t already, is Bridear. Founded in 2011, they were in the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have the classic twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. Their tiny bassist even growls at key moments.
