Yep it was a great day! Editing up our second ride now, just waiting on the computer to render it. Keeps glitching as the hard drive has been dropped too many times, but hopefully will be done by tomorrow.
Great video mate, I’m an old T’mba lad and grew up riding that country in the early 80’s. Some great tracks and dirt roads from Ravensbourne, Murphy’s Crk and Gatton.
Good for you Outie, to ride off tarmac with other riders. This is a great way to learn. Great video, thanks, 3 more weeks until my Ibex 450 demo ride here in Colorado USA
Maybe it's the fact that Australia used to be part of Gondwana that separated millions of years ago, or some over reason idk (I'm not a geologist). But it always strikes me that the Australian outback surprisngly looks very very similar to my native Madagascar. If I'm not mistaken, you guys also have baobab trees.
Is that a quad lock on your phone on the horizotal bar on windshiled? What size diameter is the bar ? My CFMoto is supposed to be in this month! Thanks kindly!
The bar is 12mm diameter. I have zip ties a magnetic phone case to it instead of using a proper phone mount. Got it from Temu. I'm not a fan of the clip that goes on the phone to on quad locks. The bar goes up and down with the windscreen so you need to be mindful if you ride in the lowest position if the mount you use will mean the phone will hit the bike display
The tube on the windshield is 12mm. Others modify it by replacing it with a 22-25mm aluminum tube, which is a more standard diameter for handlebar mounts. The downside is that if too much weight is added, the windshield will lower due to the weight and vibration. You can also get a bracket that bolts on top of the TFT display.
That's a good ride up Waterhole Gully to Blackbutt for a pie at the bakery.
It was a great day out. Good to finally meet you lol.

Very cool! Yeah I'm having a fun time exploring those tracks.

So close!
Thanks for the adventure. 😎
Our pleasure!
Good on you mate, looks way drier there. There is nothing like a ride in the countryside.
Yeah it's really dry now, a few months ago it was very green so it changes a lot.
You should do a video on how good the CFMOTO app is✌🏽
Absolutely agree. Just waiting on a better mic that coming in a few days!
I've been on a couple of those roads and there's a couple that I want to go on! Man I need to get another ADV or dual sport soon.
Well it's winter so you can usually find some second hand ones for cheap online. Or just go the 450mt.
Would You consider swapping bikes for a day with @Steves_ADV to review the "mini-T7" comment from other riders?
That would be an awesome video.
Absolutely would. He's had a little go on it and was impressed.

Yeah we've got similar landscapes.
And boababs!
Great video outtie, very interested to know how you mount your phone, perfect location and looks really stable, love my 450 mt
It's just a magnetic phone holder that I've punched a couple of jip ties through to hold it onto the rail. Works suprisingly well.
Good video, where were you riding?
Just north of Toowoomba at Ravensbourne national park and north towards crows nest, then blackbutt.
Would you happen to have a map of that ride?
Yes, go to the motowhere website and search for outie555.
gday is there an after market air filter yet? cool vid
DNA have one.

do you have plans replacing stock handle guards
Yes, probably with bark busters. It's a big gamble without it when offroading.
0:40 This part still closed to traffic or is it open now?
If I rode on it then it's open as this was only a few weeks ago.
