Made this last night! It was good. I made it with chickpeas so I skipped the marinating and just made the sauce. I added more ginger and garlic. It was good. Toddler approved. I made homemade naan bread from nora cooks on the side.

I love the authenticity of your gravy base. Well done, it looks relish. The only thing I would recommend is to blend your tomato onion paste in a blender and then return to pan and cook . That way your curry will be smoother. Otherwise this is a really great recipe with all the right spices. 👌👌👌 you even got the fenugreek leaves in! 👍

@@dawsonwatkinsofficial ya,.. she means like turn off the flame, let the sauce cool down, transfer to a blender & make a smooth sauce, return to the pan,..or else use a hand blender.. otherwise this step is completely optional,.. just requires more dishes but the output is a velvety smooth sauce!.

This looks really good. Sometimes it is too sweet or creamy which is why I darn't make it as my partner can be picky with flavors and textures so fingers crossed, I know the brits made Tikka to satisfy a less spicy pallete haha. Can never find vegan tikka in the store bought jars anymore. Usually I can predict what certain ingredient combos will taste like together but no idea here, the ingredients are pricey but as you say, it's nice to enjoy the process so marinating now, if it turns out meh, oh well i'll eat it XD

whosaysimatomato21 this is made by Xtrema cookware it’s 100% ceramic. I got it because they claimed it was non toxic but I later found out their claims may not hold true. Finding good non stick and non toxic Cookware is such a challenge.

One suggestion is to cut your onions horizontally before you slice them, rather than after.
