That looks like a neat little thing. You know like if you had some stuff on cassette or CDs you could just archive all that stuff to a flash drive. You know like if you had that bit rate that you're talking about you could put a lot of material onto a flash drive. So that would be a good benefit if you didn't mind not having stereo music.
Great review of this awesome boombox! What would be better to buy this one or the TR621 (white boombox)?? This one looks great and full of features. Thanks Todderbert 👍👍
Hej Todderbert thanks for the review Retekess TR-630 seems to have a lot of nice features furthermore, I like that it is small and compact, it does not take up much space wish I hadn't thrown away almost all my cassette tapes. But I have a lot of CDs and don't have a radio that can play CDs these days so I am interested in this radio I'll probably have to order a converter if I want to play it via the power cord but that's what I intended to do anyway. Damn Todderbert I bought a radio from ebay a long time ago didn't think I plugged into the power socket and it played for a while then it said pow it only had Input: 110 VAC - 50/60 Hz which you have in in the states can say that the radio smelled a bit burnt dangerously could have ended badly take care Todderbert and havea nice day.
ok, how does one record from the cassette player to a USB stick? i have tried 4 times, following the instruction in the booklet to a T. I press play then it says to long presss the rec button which i do an when the cassette is finished the usb stick is, No media files found. O R am i pressing the wrong REC button as there is one beside the cassette control buttons and one below the buttons that say record as i'm assuming since they control the CD player it is for the CD player to record.ok, i tried that other rec button and i think i recorded over my original cassette when it shouldn't have, and yes i have the 2 holes taped up ....
Appears that this model is discontinued. Retekess TR621 is still for sale on Amazon. I gather they're the same except for color. Does it record cassette to mp3 onto USB drive? Could that can be done with your boombox? Thanks
The TR630 is the model to get. I don't think the TR621 will record tape to micro sd. Here is my review of the TR621: ruclips.net/video/hVK6Z1SnqLk/видео.html

I’m happy that someone has finally come out with a system to record on these SD chips.
Bluetooth, FM stereo and radio record would really finish this thing.

Reminiscent of some some things I saw back in the late 60s and early 70's, only with better technology.
Any trick to opening the battery compartment on the remote control?
I wonder if it would record to TF or USB from cassette using a cassette adapter plugged into headphone jack of a cellphone or radio.

Radio recording to microSD and USB drive would've added much value to this radio for me.
@@chuckermatinger3794 I know, Retekess is reading this, and hopefully they will address it in the future.
