Hey Guys, OUCH! Pretty high-end ticket item. For that amount of cash and being aluminum, not sure if electrolysis it is an issue or has been addressed? Do you you need sacrificial zinc plates? All The Best
Do they make a telescopic extendable foils? I'm just wondering. .. I know nothing about the sport... just thought maybe a foil that extends or contrasts would be cool.
Hey guys like the previous question, I'm looking for a foil that will perform well behind the boat. Maybe eventually work up to inverts and spins. Do you have any ideas? I've seen a couple videos (but very few) on RUclips but not many and I can't tell what they're riding. Thanks!
+Martin Beltramo For sure, it is more of a comparison. We had about 22min of footage but had to cut it down to 15min to fit on youtube. Thanks for the comment!
He guys, the AlpineFoil doesn't come from abroad, it comes from France ! ;o)For the AlpineFoil. If the KFBox systeme is a problem, you can get the adaptment:www.alpinefoil.com/kitefoil-windfoil-shop/boitier-carbon-kitefoil-f-box-encastrable-1.htmlYou'll notice that there is a short mast available:www.alpinefoil.com/kitefoil-windfoil-shop/kitefoil/kitefoil-mat-court-60-cm-pour-alpinefoil-5-0-access.html
+Franck Gressier Thanks for the comment Franck, you are right for sure...things are always changing for the better and moving forward. If anyone is interested in getting any of the new gear we're getting an order together for this week. We couldn't get a hold of the tuttle to base plate conversion setups for the first year we carried Alpine as they were constantly sold out even though they were on the web. Seems they are in stock now so we'll get some in. Thanks again and happy foiling!!
+Houston Kiteboarding , Damien (The Boss from AlpineFoil) has been working a lot and now he has his complete production line . For myself I'm still in my garage but things workout really well: www.dailymotion.com/video/x407o0h_my-own-wings-23-mars-2016_sport
Great Review guys, you are on my list to visit and learn rom you. i am looking at the double agent Cabrina, can I have a word or wisdom from you? I am beginner in kite boarding, but my target is the foil. thanks Sam
+asaied100 Yes we actually did a review on the double agent foil as well. It is a great board for beginner foilers as it is very slow and easy to use. There is a compatibility issue with the board working on other systems and no short masts available, but out of the box it is very easy to use and fun for freeride foiling and great on a light wind day. Here is the Review video: ruclips.net/video/DviThjgY8Dw/видео.html Here is the double agent for sale online:americankiteboarding.com/proddetail.asp?prod=Cabrinha_double_agent_hydrofoil
Good vid thanks. Yes I also look forward to hearing comparison with HORUE and other top end models... but please do try to keep the review a little serious...especially if you want us to spend serious bucks through you guys... regardsARK1phil
Couldn't agree more! I'm keen on the LF rocketfish foil pack, but lots of saving still to do. Have you ridden many foils in beachbreak conditions, i don't want to try and 'surf' one i just wana know they can get out through/cope with white water etc. Cheers for the reply. Stoked on all the review videos.
+John M great question! the white water will disrupt the foiling so you want to avoid it especially in a beach break. The way I manage that is I actually body drag through the break and start foiling on the outside. Another great way to do it is with a short shaft ride through on the board....if the waves are breaking you'll have a problem hitting shoal or reef that the waves are breaking on with the full length mast. Tricky tricky! I will say that surfing the swell instead of the breaking waves makes foils perfect for the shore break. We will have the Happy Foil boards in a week or so, but the actual happy foils won't be released until mid June so that sucks.

No Telescoping masts yet. Would be a bit of an engineering feat with the salt water environment and stresses involved in hydrofoiling.
hi guys
never kite boarded but do a lot of wake surfing at 10 -12 mph.do you think you could wake surf with the liquid force foil ?
