So far the driver has lost his driver's license, since he refused to undergo the medical examination, which was required by the investigative procedure. After our activist has completed his knee treatment at the hospital and we have all necessary reports and documents, we will sue the driver, because the injuries that the activist got are of medium severity and the driver may be facing felony charges.

Oddsmuon Yeah as a Belarussian, we have the same system as in russia. I never understood it. There is normal police and traffic police. Traffic police isnt allowed to take someone who did a crime, so if there is traffic police and someone robs a store than he isnt allowed to take the criminal. And normal police isnt allowed to stop cars, wrote them tickets. So if this policeman stopped him, than it could be the policemans fault because he dont have the autorasation do stop the car, the driver can sue the policeman and he can lose his job. Its really a system that just doenst make sense...
@@belaruspatriot8309 this kind of behavior with a car is classified as an attempt to murder/manslaughter in my country (Netherlands) and leads up to a certain conviction, jail time and the revoking of his license...

I'm very impressed by the restraint you show when people are violent towards you. I don't think I could remain so calm. I don't understand the mentality of many of your police officers. Why don't they do their jobs, and why do they need separate officers for traffic violations? In the United States our officers do it all, and if drivers pulled the stunts in front of them that many people in your videos do, the officers would be all over them in a heartbeat, and not standing around watching and then walking away. I'm glad none of you were seriously injured and hope the driver who hit the other car loses his license for a while.

It's a game of hot potato for the non-traffic officer, basically. If he does nothing, he doesn't get the "headache" of filling paperwork and whatnot. It's the "not my job" mentality. I don't know how this will unfold though, since they got him on camera and he did nothing to stop the driver from further harming the activists.

Cops in usa are a bit more of an asshole and extremely tensed. They're trained not to be fucked with. Completely different. I keep seeing Russian cops as inept but sometimes I wish usa cops have demeanor a bit more like Russians..like take it easy
