"Stop a Douchebag is banned." Nope :D On 21 March 2016 by the Moscow City Court's decision the organization was liquidated. But on 2 September 2016 the Supreme Court of Russia cancelled the decision.
I have some more information about this matter of Stop a Douchebag being "banned". What actually happened is that the Stop a Douchebag legal entity was liquidated as a consequence of not filing the correct paperwork. What this means is that the entity was no longer entitled to receive government funds for their activism as an official government project. What that doesn't mean is that the activism has to stop: they can't stop a group of volunteer activists who band together in public to tell off drivers as long as these activists remain lawful. Apparently, this decision was overturned in a higher court. The Stop a Douchebag legal entity is now currently an official Russian project and they are also entitled to receive government funding for this project. So what this means is that the group was never banned from doing what they do, it just meant that they stopped getting government money.

If someone drives up to the guys on any sidewalk and says "You guys were banned", they could tell them that they stopped receiving funds but can still make (whomever) get back into the main traffic flow. From what I've seen recently traffic is stopped from (maybe an accident) and they don't want to waste time. So they "think " that going on the sidewalk will help them.

But surely a painted lane or flush curb could be a good pointer of where the road ends. It's just a tricky situation in a big wide asphalted area like this as there is no physical division from the driveway like there is from the road.
They would have to use the really expensive ones that can lower into the ground for emergency vehicles and I don't think they can afford to put those everywhere.
I am not aggressive, but pepper spray episodes are just the best! When tough guys are making fools of themselves and then they are crying like babies, calling for help and pissing their pants that they'll loose their sight, it's just so damn satisfying.

Logic: I have a job, I plant trees, my son is older than you - conclusion, I am entitled to drive on sidewalks. You can't argue against that kind of reasoning. It sounds plausible to me. Here is a nation who gave to the world the greatest musical composers, literary geniuses, and yet the common man demonstrates how absurd he/she is.
I maintain that 3 or 4 people sitting in front of a car and lifting their hands so the driver can see them will deter them from driving further, which lying on the bonnet does not seem to do for some reason. What I find shocking is a) other pedestrians still defending the drivers on the sidewalk and b) how many worry more about being recorded.
