@@truefalse934 As much as it sucks for the the victim, correcting a child that isn’t yours is very sticky territory. Aside from the possible parent backlash, alot of times when children are confronted by unfamiliar people, they tend to jump to fight or flight. And it wont matter what you say, they will remove themselfs from the situation with out resolutions. Therefore passerbyers opinions won’t be relevant to most children. My eldest sister adopted a biracial child (boy) and their biological daughter had some issues with it. My niece was resentful about the adoption and she could be very cruel to her adopted brother. One day, I caught her berating her little brother and I cut loose on her. There is no excuse for anyone to treat another human being in a bad way.

YES YES YES
This hit close to home. My auntie is Chinese and was adopted. When my mother was a child, my grandparents would tell my mom to include her new sister when she went to play with friends. Auntie came to America from Hong Kong when she was 7 and my mother was 8. There was one time that my mom got annoyed at constantly having to include my auntie in everything she was doing, especially because at the time, my auntie could only speak Cantonese. My mother turned around and told my grandmother, "I don't know why I have to include her. YOU'RE the one that wanted her." That was a beating my mother never forgot.
This was in the 1960's. I'm now in my 30's, and my mom and auntie are in their 60's. Sadly, my grandparents are no longer with us. Auntie has always been - and will always be - a cherished member of our family. I learned to use chopsticks and a fork equally as a baby. Grandma learned to cook Chinese food. Our family has always celebrated Chinese New Year together. Our grandparents did everything to not only include our auntie in the family, but also to celebrate her Chinese heritage as best as a white family could. Our grandmother always wanted auntie to be proud to be Chinese. Adoption is difficult, and international adoption presents even more challenges. This whole sketch was very accurate. Biological children can often feel replaced or as if they were not enough for their parents. There is definitely an adjustment period. But in this sketch, Ping Ping was family since her birth. That adjustment period should have already ended. If I had been in this situation, I'd would have stepped in as someone whose family has been in this exact situation.
Damn Cantonese is that a type of Chinese language sorry for my ignorance just not knowledgeable about chime just some
@@bestjayceejay2518 Yea, it’s a dialect of Chinese spoken in Honk Kong
This is such a wholesome story 💕
And also, how much money do you need to adopt internationally?
@@umhi5743 yeah thank you but never mind done research on ir
@@umhi5743 Honestly, I don't know, but I do know it takes more than money. My grandmother was born before there was a vaccine for the polio virus, and so she was paralyzed from the waist down. She wore big metal braces down her legs that snapped into special shoes. She could lock them and walk by swinging her hips with the use of a crutch. After the birth of my mother, she was bed ridden and the docs told her not to try for any more children or she may end up in a wheelchair. My grandmother tried one more time because she desperately wanted a big family, but it ended in miscarriage.
Still grieving from the loss of her second child and bed ridden for the second time, a post card came in the mail. It was from an international adoption agency. The post card had pictures of children all over the world in need of a home. For my grandparents, that was the sign. All the kids smiled in their pics... except for my auntie who looked angry and frowning in hers. Not only would she be more difficult to adopt with that attitude, but my grandmother immediately loved my auntie's "chip on her shoulder".
At the time (1960's), apparently there was a severe problem with people in Western countries adopting foreign children to be in-house slaves or maybe worse... human trafficking. Because of this, the adoption process took over a year to complete. The FBI was involved, and our family was assigned a case manager. The house was inspected, neighbors were contacted and asked what they knew about my family. They even asked my grandmother "If your daughter runs away from you, you can't run." They were actually trying to hold her disability against her. My grandmother said, "Well, I can manage one daughter... you think I can't manage another?" They asked about the chores expected of my mom, and what chores my auntie would do. It was intense.
The case manager frequently visited our family even after the adoption for several years. One of the cutest stories about my auntie was a year or two after the adoption. The case manager came to check on the family. My auntie, sporting that same angry frown, hid behind my grandmother's braces. She leaned to one side and stared angrily at the case worker and with the few English words she knew, she said, "No go, lady. No GO!" My auntie was afraid that the case worker had come to take her away. That was the last time the case worker came to visit. She knew my auntie was happy where she was.
I don't know how international adoption works now, but I suspect if slavery and human trafficking were a concern in the 1960's, it's probably STILL a concern now. I would expect a very long process and many hoops to jump to get through the legalities, especially when dealing with foreign governments as well.

I love that she knew the show “What would you do” but still didn’t believe she was on the show 😂
3:53 This woman has the best point of view. Like everyone was so focused on protecting the adopted kid, but I mean yeah, who wouldn't, right? But the fact that she actually tried to put herself in the shoes of the biological kid is just beautiful. If I were the biological child, I would also feel like I was not good enough for my parents, I would feel weird to have a new sister all of a sudden. Not to mention they're both kids like it was so common for kids at this age to be mean and jealous even in petty things. I love this social experiment because it shows the nature of humans to help the ones crying first and foremost but not the "mean" person. One of the most common reasons why heroes are favored while villains are always misunderstood.
You know I’ve been reading the comments under this video for a while and I’m baffled how everybody here agrees that she needs to be slapped in the face and she’s a psychopath and what not. Seriously? I’m totally with you. If this was real I’m pretty sure no one ever asked for her opinion on adopting a child. Kids like that feel like their opinion doesn’t matter to their parents and like they are being forced to share their life (and parents attention, time, money, stuff, may be even their room) with a complete stranger. I get her too, it’s not that simple. Usually bullies are bullies because they are miserable themselves, why is nobody talking about this.
@@samhawkins4952 I agree with you, 100 percent. I don’t get why no one is talking about this…
From the sisters’ ages and if the girl really was from China, judging from her level of English, it was pretty clear that she wasn’t JUST adopted but probably had been with the family for years as far as this hypothetical is concerned. And say the situation was different and her parents chose to have another baby (not adopt one). The older sister didn’t have much of a choice either. Would it be ok for her to speak to her little biological sister like that? If not, so why is it more understanding for her to speak to an adopted one like that? And even if the older sister was surprised with the adoption and the adoption was recent, there’s still no excuse for the things she was saying. Having sympathy and dealing with the root issue of why she may be acting out is one thing but we can’t excuse that type of behavior.

Josh Adams that’s what the girl said
She means thank god the adopted girl is different from her because the non adopted girl is so rude
"She's nothing like me"
"Thank God, thank God"
xD that was savage
I wanted a sister since I was a child. I’d give anything for a sister. Being the youngest child is a blessing and a curse .
As an adopted Chinese kid, gotta be honest this video gives me life.
Kind of dumb that they named her ping ping tho lol literally any other name woulda been fine
Baba Kazi ikr
I mean u don't experience this so I think ur fine.
@@mopinggoku4708 You'd be surprised.
Hi, same thing here. Some people say, you’re not really related though... I know but I am part of my family and I am proud
“Did you ever see that show, what would you do?”
Ping Ping: 👁👄👁
Ping ping: ..... *don't tell her yet don't tell her yet*
Ping ping : *"Shoot she knows-"*
Ping ping: *ABORT MISSION*
Ping ping: ...
roses are red
my computer screen is digital
im sorry but
this is unoriginal
This show is awesome and it's needed in a society where standing up for what's right is viewed as crossing a line instead of "minding their own business".
Technically, the parents adopted the chinese girl. So she's their adopted daughter. But the white girl never adopted the chinese girl. So she should not be forced to accept that girl as her sister... You can't force someone to love someone they don't...
@@citizencan4444 But she could be less of a bitch... I hope that no one do that i real life!
Her acting is top-tier 💀 it looks natural
Me: *flushes toilet*
John: *crawls out of the toilet* What made you do that?
😄
XD
😂😭😂😂
This made me laugh so hard 😂
I’m dying 😂
ITS 1AM AND IM LOSING MY GODDAMNED MIND OVER THIS AJAJSJS
“They want to knock somebody else’s head off so they look taller.”
Ain’t that the truth. Smh
@Bullets in Bacon Grease Are you implying white people don't typically act this way? Boy, you must live under a rock or something. It's not even just the white kids who still do this. The adults are far worse.
@@shorty235z but most of the people who stood up for that girl was white. I'm not white, but isn't the whole not judging people by their race what we're trying to get rid of? Your comment seems to suggest the opposite. No offense.
Bullets in Bacon Grease ok and?? white people were the ones who used to attack and ridicule african americans back then y’all are acting as if they are innocent and they’re not trying to target anyone they’re just actors and it’s all fake
Bullets in Bacon Grease if they did it the other way round people would attack them.
Omg I commented about this quote too😂
this made me tear up some,, I know its not real but I felt the pain. Thank you for posting
"They want to knock somebody else's head off so they look taller"
Thats a nice quote
Me: **kicks ice cube under fridge**
John Quinones: Hi I’m John Quinones, this is What Would You Do and that ice cube was an actor
Mace 😂😂
??
Alyssa it’s a tiktok meme
🤣🤣🤣
😂✌️
That man literally burned her he said
"Remember mom and dad picked you".
How is this a burn?
Kadyn Chan bruh he burned the other white girl by saying her parents picked the adoptive kid cause they like her but their real daughter wasn’t a choice she was just born
@@tupar1669 That is so dumb tho. "Yout biological parents wanted you and raised you" is not a burn
Kadyn Chan opinions exist you know! And even if that is your opinion, don’t go insulting other people for having theirs. You’re in fact the dumbass here.
Raul I was talking about the white girl and how that man burned her so that was directly pointed to the non adopted sister because she acts like a brat
the last old 3 people are absolutely the best, their age speaks for the massive wisdom they have.
If I were there I would go straight up to her! I would have so many words for her since I’m adapted from China too and I struggle with my bio parents abandoning me. If my siblings ever talked to me that way it would break my heart. Family doesn’t require blood, it requires love.
“She’s nothing like me.”
“Thank god.”
Lmao I’m dying
Holy shit that’s a lot of likes thanks so much guys
Same, I was waiting for someone to point it out lol
@@vilnes.2335 same
