    Ah, this movie does such a good job of capturing the 70s Times Square grindhouse feel. Unique and quite well done. Would love to see a sequel.

      Cheers, Chris! Yeah it just brought the movie to a grinding halt! This footage was from our first day of shooting.

    I haven't watched this movie yet, and I won't unless I buy a physical copy.. and I most likely will, this movie looks like it has an amazing atmosphere and an unnerving feel!

    Interesting. Was the Trunk Man supposed to serve as a somewhat bigger role in the film or is it just a false memory Ted's made up in his sick head?

    • @PhantasmesVideo
      @PhantasmesVideo  5 лет назад +11

      We saw it as a false memory, somewhere between a lie and something Ted has come to believe (much like the "wife" scene).

      @@PhantasmesVideo Interesting. I'm still hopeful one day we could find out how
      Patrick really died. The concept art from the Kickstarter page appears to be directly linking at the wife overfeeding their cat scenario.
      But the VHS tape of young Ted receiving a cat mask for Christmas was a really nice touch, worked greatly with Dave Jackson's internal tone he set for the film, about one's loss of childhood and innocence.

    We need more movies like this. It, in a very strange way, helps me cope with the loss of my own cat. My only question is, how did Patrick really die?

    • @PhantasmesVideo
      @PhantasmesVideo  4 года назад +3

      Kaneki thanks so much! We left Patrick's death ambiguous, but if you look at the year on the videotape at the end, he would have been a very very old cat. I always saw his death as something probably not very dramatic, only Ted has warped it in his mind.

      @@PhantasmesVideo Perhaps he died of age. I bet Ted actually took very good care of him. The bond they had for so long may be why the devastation of loss caused Ted to go insane. Ted did seem normal before. I sympathize with him.

      It's a song by a band called I'lls. The song is "See You In London".
