Wow. Big Shinedown fan. Just watched this in the dark on the surround sound and it was like going back to watch the old/much rawer Shinedown of old. They've grown so much and have got better and better but there is something about this that is extra special. How incredible ❤️🎸
I don't think that has anything to do with it really. The band have matured as they've grown and obviously Brent has somewhat transformed into Brent 2.0. I love the old stuff and I love the new stuff, like most bands they've lost their unpolished edginess as they've reached a wider audience. But yeah, watching this compared to watching them now is quite different.@@debbietipton6642
@@debbietipton6642 i agree, the more hard rockers are the ones that liked him most before he was sober, and the more trailer park people are the ones who like him more after
@@imnottellinudontwannaknow3188 I am truly sorry to admit this but the first time I saw Shinedown live, it was on an AXS tv concert, Brent was obviously in his addiction, he was dressed as a syringe, but that was the best Shinedown concert I have ever seen, it was from Kennebuck? Washington, I have tried for years to find it with no luck, but Shinedown, sober or not puts on a flawless concert, after 15 years of waiting , I finally got to see them live in 2019, and they were incredible!!
I don’t. Brent was hooked and depressed going through a dark period. He’s happy and healthy now. He’s never looked or sounded better. He’s an inspiration.
Got to be the best concert i have ever seen on RUclips wish i could see them for real,so glad and proud of Brent for coming good he so healthy and looks happy now,but he still rocked bag then love you guys
I only wish I had a bigger tv! This is better than front row! I love having a Shinedown concert in my living room! Can't wait to share this with my brother!!
What a difference between Brent here and Brent now. He's barely moved from one spot the entire time he's singing here; now he bounces around and runs all over.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. He looks so healthy now and I'm not even talking about his weight. Some people glow as they say when they are sober
Cuz he is fitter now. Has stamina to do thkse things. You ever try to sing after jumping around or running for a few mins? He is fitter now and thats better.
Look im glad he's healthy now to but i do miss this more raw sound especially on the title track. Look up more recent videos of Sound of madness its night and day. 😊
Wow, I love this band they were good, then live and they're incredible now live. I'm actually looking forward to seeing them in August for my first Shine down concert. BTWI find it so funny how much Brent looked like Ozzy Osborne lol. If I close my eyes, he still sounds the same and his voice blows me away every time, but I will say he's sporting a much better look now.He looks so much healthier. & his stage presence has improved. He moves around a lot more and his lung capacity is stronger so he can hold notes longer.
I am sooooo proud Brent Smith for getting clean and exercise like everyday💙💙yes he looks like Ozzy in 2008 🤯😮😱But I will get my opportunity to see them live one day !! I was supposed to see them on their #SDDeepDiveTour but we all know what happen last year, live shows we're no more and those tickets I got for me and mom will never happen again💔💔💔
Wow Brent has a striking resemblance to Ozzy back in 2008. Total Hottie in 2021 lol Music was bad ass in 2008 and still bad ass in 2021! So Sad they rescheduled their concert on the same weekend we will be out of town celebrating my 40th birthday because we most defiantly would have spent my 40th at their concert August 7th here in Louisville, KY! Maybe we can hit the Atlanta, GA concert on October 3rd! Thanks for the upload
I have The Sound of Madness Deluxe DVD and this show is on it. Too bad it wasn't released as a full show because it contains 15 songs. Thanks for your upload anyway :)
I asked them a few years ago about this, they said maybe in the future, but later on they told me they wanted to be focused in the present not the past. I also asked them about unreleased songs (The Underground / Amaryllis, So You Know / Leave a Whisper, Be the Same / Sound of Madness) they did say they wanted to make a compilation album w unreleased stuff. But it’s been 4 years now since I’ve asked them...nothing yet haha
I fell in love with Shinedown , the first time I heard Burning Bright, I know Brent has had issues, but he is still alive, I pray he stays with us forever, I LOVE YOU BRENT
Can't find that live concert CD anywhere I had six songs recorded on it from MTV classic or for value whatever that was back in the day sound of madness live I'm going to Olivia the butterfly thing now it's and TV classic
It'seems that this concert is all in playback, but they did it really well. Couse they used different voice tracks than the official ones! Great Job! (even with lip synching)
@@codybrockway1616 watching some other concerts from the same period, this sounds strange, because Brent used to be not so accurate with high notes (especially with Call Me), but here there are no mistakes... thats really strange!
brent's voice is incredible.
Very incredible ❤️
SHINEDOWN. your last Ballad is helping me cope with the loss of my most beloved Michele! thank you you.! Love all you guys! Gregory J.

Where are Jasin and Brad? The sound of madness album and tour is not their last with Shinedown?
Current lineup started touring together in Sep 2007. :)
@@alanzata100 Jasin left the band in the early 2008, Brad left the band in 2007.
Where’s Jason Todd? I read Brent did some shady shit after he was kicked out. I only listen to the early stuff I’m a hard rock fan no soft bs.
Back when they were still a rock band and not a bunch of aging hipsters playing soft rock.
it is not goot to say, but Brent was so much better during his drug addiction!
I'm glad he's healthy now but I see what you mean.
Brent with the weight on and that haircut does look like meatloaf. Great voice though.
I miss his long hair
His voice sounds so good here. It's way better than how he sounds right now.
He sounds better now
