My son gave us a Roku stick and my old monitor has no HDMI input. This not only helped me find my adapter options, it suggested to me what settings I will need to revise for compatibility. I have an OTA antenna that I can connect but I have to manually switch it over. ideally what i want to do is this. be able to switch via remote - the input from port 1 (satellite tv) to port 2 or 3(which I'd like to use for the ota ). what do I purchase in order to accomplish this and in what order do I do it? I currently am able to switch from input 1 to another input for my home network to use ROKU or Amazon Prime using the TV remote. watching your video it looks as though I need 2 separate devices? one to initially convert the ota signal to hdmi - then a second device that has more than one hdmi input. one needs to be powered? I hope this makes sense. thank you

Does a TV exist that is an older tube CRT 4:3 display (before HD/flat/wide screen TV’s) and allows for modern and old school connection? I need that cable for my old laptop to convert the old computer connection to hdmi to my 4k tv. Im upgrading the graphics card with a EGPU to be perfectly playable with no problem with Newer Games that need a great graphics card.. but i think the graphics cards have a hdmi out put for hd tv, monitors 🤔 i still need that cable anyways when i make a customized portable duel HD 1920x1080 sceens that fold up, like thoughs folding tables. It would be connected to my old laptop that has been upgraded. I would just take it around for work, not for games, but when i go home? I would do hardcore gaming, since the EGPU is at home.. unless i make it portable, which is hard, with a block of 550w power supply that is heavy, it wouldn't work, to much cables, and i have to be careful with the delicate gpu, so i dont break it

Hey just found your channel I have a question. My ps4 slim I want to record my gameplay so i bought a splitter and a recorder disabled the HDCP in the options but still black screen unless I boot in safe mode any advice would help thank you.
I wonder if it has something to do with the resolution. Try the lowest resolution (480) and then work up to see if you can work out if it is the resolution that is causing the problem. I think when you boot from safe mode it drops the resolution down to 480 maybe that is why it is working. Also turn off 'deep color'. In fact try turning off 'Deep Color' before changing the resolution as it may be this that is causing the problem.

My Mate VINCE i figured out you need a splitter and boot to safe mode and change resolution mine worked on 1080i the highest my tv handles
