Want to turn more people onto Blues/Rock? How about a co-headlining Tour with Gary & Joe? Just remember to bring a show to CNY! Don't forget to come home Joe...
Gary Hoey is a great guitarist, but an even better Human Being. I know that to be true and seeing him with Jo B is awesome. Rock on Gary Hoey. Tom and Tommy Gibbons
Great stuff! Two of my fav guitar players doing their thang. Can't wait to see Gary at Bluesapalooza! GroovyHoovy
Both amazing players, the difference about them is,Gary Hoey is a Shredder who knows how to play the Blues,if he wants and Joe is a Blues guitarist, who can easily shred,if he wants, both are a rare breed.
Believe it or not, Zakk Wilde can "blues it up," also! And Frank Marino also! Yet they all can move in other directions with easy and exciting skill!! I've even heard Yngwie Malmsteen play the blues when he wanted!
My favorite Fender strat player and favorite Gibson player.... OMG. I knew they would be great together!
Saw it...this - and the rest of the show was fabulous!
Nice call and response towards the end. Gary is so awesome. Been a fan since waaaay back. Anybody remember Heavy Bones? Check 'em out. He wails. And as I saw below from Tom Gibbons, Gary is a great human being. Super friendly dude.
I saw in the comments where someone said shredding doesn't fit well with the Blues. I'm damn sure glad nobody ever said that stupid to Johnny winter !! Johnny was one of the fastest I've ever seen live or recorded and he was a god of the Blues(I guess you can tell I'm a fan of Hoey huh?)
Well shit I really needed a thumb for each of them, what a hell of a team!
They were great together!
I CAN GO TO HEAVEN NOW!!!!!!!!
AJ, How come I never seen this one! TY my BonaBrotha! RockinRon
I'm not sure, I recorded this at the Wang, I was 3rd row for that show.
Damn that was most excellent. Great job you guys!
speechless.......
Awesome man!
Was right next to whoever took this, very nice. Gary lives near me in NH. Check him out when you can!
I filmed this from the 2nd row
A.J. St Pierre I filmed the same song from the 1st row slightly left of you by the Bass speaker. You had a better angle because I had the mic stand in my way. Gary signed my guitar recently when we both went to see Ana Popovic at Tupelo in NH. Great guy!

May all good fortune come to you, sir!
♥ ♥
Just as I suspected. Awesome, fiery playing from Gary. Yet more blues and rock clichés from Joe. You guys should look up John Wedemeyer from San Jose. He plays a smoking guitar solo on the uploaded video "You Can't Hurt Me No More".
dude do you have brainworm or are you just a Joe Bonamassa hater
Neither. I just have good ears and think (as many of us do out there) that he is completely overrated.
Right on buddy, First and last time seeing Joe, the greedy conceited money maker. I'd go see Gary anytime!
A.J. St Pierre There seem to be a lot of Bonamassa haters out there. Wonder why? Because he is so full of himself unlike other great players that are very humble...He goes around promoting himself as the greatest guitar player in the world and his ticket prices are just stupid!
Len Bellacicco There's where you're wrong, I've met and spoke to Joe 6 or 7 times and he is very humble, I've met 100's of rock stars and a lot of them need reality checks, I also have a friend who has met and talked to Joe dozens of times, in fact after one show, Joe geeked out with him, showed him his guitars and rig and chatted with him for a half hour. Find me another star that will do that. As for the ticket prices, yeah they are climbing, but that is supply and demand, he sells out all his shows, plus they don't just jump in a van and hook up a u-haul trailer and go, Joe's tour has 4 buses for musicians and crew and 2 tractor trailers for gear.
uuuummmm....
A bluesman and a shredder. Bonamassa sounds great. Shredding doesn't fit well with the blues.
A blues man and a rock n roll guitar player... Not a shredder skippy
