Prediction: In the next episode Beerus says he wants "Proof", so he waits till Zamasu kills Gowasu then Whis rewinds time, and they stop Zamasu before he kills Gowasu having "Proof" that he killed Gowasu.

It's so funny to see your in depth analysis of certain DBS aspects, because I am sure that Toriama is not thinking anything through like you, he just draws some new scenes and as you mentioned a number of time forgets so many things that point to the fact that he is a very simple guy who had the luck to draw something at a certain point which pleased the public, but other than that we can see his limitations very easily. My theory on answering why Black and Zamasu have similar ki, based on Whis's theory, is he uses his own LIFEFORCE (think of how Old Kai gave his life to Goku in the Buu arc) to create Black. Except he's immortal and it doesn't kill him.

This was basically a speculation episode! And the characters acted like they were the fans LOOL! But anyway we really didn't get anything new from this one, we still don't really know if the main timeline Zamasu actually used the Super Dragon Balls and if so what did he really wished (or would since the spoilers from the next episodes claim Beerus will kill him so...) but it's more than obvious that he will try to kill Gowasu and it seems the others are simply gonna let him LOL just spying CIA style! But i gotta say that although i can follow what is happening so far i admit that it's getting kinda hard to understand so i just hope they explain all the details and don't leave any plot holes!
Really good episode again. I really love all the subtleties that make it come to life. I love how when everyone was standing around talking at the beginning, Bulma was sitting backwards in her chair in a really natural casual position. It just seems so real, ya know? Like something a real person would do. It's the little things like that.

Interesting that Black isn't just a copy of Goku since there Ki isn't the same but similar to Zamasu. (Spoilers from the Spoilers) What if that Zamasu resurrected himself as Goku in the Timeline that he was killed. Which also going to happen in the next episodes. I mean it is multiverse theory and the time ring can go to any possible timelines.
My biggest problem is how is future trunks timeline directly affected by the current timeline. They share similarity but dont correlate. If they kill zamasu in the current timeline he will still exist in future trunks timeline

I think Trunks might've accidentally created another timeline again. Why? Well before Trunks traveled back in time, Zamasu at the moment didn't know who Goku is and even knowing of the Super Dragonballs. What if there was a timeline where Trunks never went back to ask for help? Everyone would be ready for the Universal Tournament. What if the Zamasu in the future was actually the Zamasu who participated in the Tournament who might've faced Goku?
Yo geekdom, how the hell does zamasu go from universe 10 to universe 6 and 7? Back in the u tournament arc beerus and even our kaioshin had to ride with whis in order to go between universes. How the hell is zamasu traveling between universes by himself? Just something I'm confused about. Even when beerus and goku were going to visit universe 10 they needed the help of whis to get there. Oh and zamasu is just going to "sneak" planet sized dragon balls around and summon a universal sized dragon without anyone noticing? Actually, Kaioshin, Elder Kaio, and Kibito were already at the tournament ring before Goku and co. arrived...and also remember Kaioshin can use Instantaneous Movement anywhere in the universe and even anywhere in any universe thats why they were able to leave their universe and go to see the King of All...so He can go anywhere they want but it does use a lot of energy traveling back and forth....

Actually, the final timeline is the one Trunks went back to in Cells timeline. In that timeline, they defeated Androids 19 & 20 and destroyed 16, 17 & 18 before they were released. He then came back to his timeline and defeated the Androids. Cell notices that, kills him, and steals his TimeMachine.

Those green rings are timelines that pertain to Universe 10 because each has their own Kai and Destroyer. Gowasu mentioned that one of those rings was used by an anonymous Kai to altar history related to Universe 10.
7:58 zamasu did not ask universe 7 supreme kai about the dragonballs prior to visiting zuno. nowhere in the episode was that mentioned. it was zuno who had contacted him (the supreme kai) to inform him that a person had come to see him to ask about goku and the dragonballs. .

Back to the twitter discussion (O-dog here). Goku Black appears in the future a year prior to Trunks going back to the past for help. Zamasu meets for the first time and spars with Goku lets say...a few days after Goku fought Black. I find it difficult to believe that first meeting with Goku is the reason why Black exists when Zamasu didn't even know about Goku before Black first appeared. UNLESS...Zamasu was playing innocent and was in fact plotting all this for a while now

So I don't know if it has been explicitely stated, but given how Gowasu said that each time the timeline is altered another Time Ring appears, so it's likely each Ring is linked to the timeline in which it was created, right? Zamasu doesn't know enough about the Time Rings yet, so he'll probably grab any one thinking they're all the same, that one being the ring which was created from the future timeline split, so he'll be travelling into Trunk's future. (This doesn't really explain how Zamasu and Gowasu used the Time Rings previously though) Side note: Given Black keeps mentioning "This body", as in he is a seperate entity INSIDE the copied body of Goku, it's possible Zamasu somehow leaves an imprint in Black or something like that.
Gowasu specifically said that putting on one green earring temporarily grants you the status of Kaioshin(a god). So my guess is that when Black puts on the earring that Zamasu gave him he becomes a Kaioshin thus having similar ki to Zamasu. Just a theory. Plus Mai said that there were still people around the world fighting for survival. Which contradicts what was said in episode 56.
Mai was driving the Scargo while taking Yajirobe back to base, the same vehicle Roshi drove in Toriyama's title art for tale 24 in the manga, and Lunch was driving it in tale 26 when she was first introduced. just noticed that this vehicle is a pun on escargot, because Toriyama drew it to resembles a snail.
ONE THING that doesnt make any sense is that zamasu in the future could not have been influenced by goku of that time because goku in that time line died a long time ago so theres no way he would have even sparked zamasus attention. Because of the way time travel works in the DB universe the past has no affect on the future so goku fighting zamasu in the present can be the reason for him being evil in the present but NOT for the future zamasu. So what whis said cannot be true because it goes against everything that has happened in dragonball with time travel.
Hi Geekdom101, I have a question regarding the story-line.... Why did Zamasu go to so far away in future? It is mentioned that Trunks comes from 17 years in future, right? If he becomes immortal and has already wished existence of Goku black, then does not it make sense that he would rather attack in a more recent future timeline, even if it is adult trunk's timeline?
Pretty confused though. My understanding of the timelines was that Trunks created a separate timeline when he went to the past in DBZ. However, after watching that episode it felt like Whis was basically saying the fight with Goku was what sparked Zamasus interested and created Black and this is why Black is tormenting the future timeline. If the whole multiverse thing isnt cleared up it could ruin super.
My only issue with the "time paradox" theory is, in ep 57 Zamasu, says to Black, " I just had to meet him (Goku)"... or something very similar. We could still be working with 2 (or 3) timeline variations of Zamasu.

The Kaioshins and the God of Destruction are linked. What if Black is Zamazu's God of Destruction hence why there Ki is similar. Which means that to kill Zamazu maybe you have to kill Black?
I just feel like all of the character theories are all of the ones that we, the audience, are thinking of. I think that if any of these things would be true, it would be too obvious, and Toriyama has to know this. Having Gowasu be a future version of Zamasu that turned good would be a twist that could fit in DB canon and make sense. Or any twist would be good, I'm sure. I already have seen the episode titles you shared, but even then you never know what could really happen in an episode.
Guys A friend is visiting Japan for vacation he told they released the titles of episodes 59-60 as well as the description for each episode. Looks like episode 59 theyre watching over Zamazu to see whats his next move. What my buddy said is that episode 60 Berus kills Zamazu because they found out he killed Gowazu. So from there we know Zamazu indeed kills his teacher and finally some action from Berus.
I'm thinking that perhaps with Zamasu poisoning Gowasu's tea he is transferring some of his Dark ki into him, slowly beginning his transformation into Goku Black, In a sense "Killing" him. Could explain not only why Goku Black has a time ring on (I don't recall seeing Zamasu wearing one). Also with it being shown that Gowasu has a keen interest in watching Goku fight(watching him on the tv fighting Hit) that could explain why Goku Black mentioned that "this body" wanted to fight GOku, perhaps some of Gowasus personality is still present. Just a theory, can't wait to see how this all plays out :D
I believe black ki is similar because 1: he is a kioshin (if you remember it zamazu only needed 1 earring to become a full flesh kioshin) so with both of them have massive amount of God kio ki but different original ki. 2: they are using the plot from superman 4 and samazu fuse his assent or made a copy of himself inside black's body, giving the original goku the evil persona.
Maybe how Black ends up in trunks timeline is because Zamasu kept using the time ring to make wishes until he ended up 20 years into the future... Also the time ring may have some sort of limitation which is why they end up in trunks timeline for a year waiting for the super dragonballs to reactivate to make more wishes all while destroying the population little by little.
I also really think that when we see Zamasu making a wish with the Super Dragon Balls it is just an example of what Whis is thinking about. Notice that in those shots Zamasu is wearing orange earings which are clearly not Gowasu's Potara, which he supposedly takes for himself after killing him.
This arc has been excellent. Super has definitely turned it around from it's earlier stuff. I'm getting to the point now where I can't wait for the next episode. It reminds me of when I was a kid and I'd buy the funimation VHS tapes of DBZ and there would only be 3 episodes per tape so I would get to watch like 6 episodes every month or so and I couldn't wait for the next ones.
The Ki thing is to do with the fact one is a Kaioshin and the other is the god of destruction. Or something to with that. IT's really one of the only other things mentioned in the other episodes left to tie in.
I don't think Zamas made any wishes in this timeline yet, I think that was just imaging from Whis speculating. Like you were saying the super dragon balls are inactive and Zamas hasn't taken the Portaras yet, so he couldn't have gone to the future yet.
I think Herms had to make a correction. Zamasu didn't contact Supreme Kai, apparently Zuno was the one who contacted the Supreme Kai, because he wanted to tell him that Zamasu had come asking about the Super Dragon Balls and Goku.
hey Geekdom! I'm here to tell you a cool story! I live in Israel, and even though we're a small country we've a lot of anime fans, including DBZ (specifically DBZ. OG DB was never aired here. the movies were aired, but not the show itself) now we always got the Japanese footage of the show, instead of getting an americanized version of it, like in Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh's case. so it was over 8,000 over here, and we have Burma, Picoro and Kririn. for some reason we also have a Makita instead of Vegita. we have planet Vegita, but not prince Vegita, but prince Makita. now the big news is that recently (1.9.2016, which is the beginning of the school year) we got DBS dubbed in hebrew! which is not only amazing to find out DB is popular enough to warrant a dub, but also exciting that we're the first to dub DBS into our native language (suck it USA! for once we get nice things first!) if you want to details I've got some contacts, which are high-schoolers who sub DBS, OG DB and were the one to push for a dubbed version of DBS
What if when Zamasu killed Gowasu he used Gowasu's body when creating Goku Black. Then when using the super dragon balls he could ask to just use the body and fuse Gowasu's ki with Goku's ki. That may produce a ki very similar to Zamasu's but im not sure. Since Gowasu and Goku would be fused together in a way the new body created would be part kaioshin and have the ability to use potara and time ring while still having the appearance of Goku Black.

I think that Zamasu take precautions while in the future, maybe he wished something or arranged something that even if he gets dead by anybody, his plan will continue. Would it be possible that the reason Black have a ring is to deploy a "plan b" in case something goes wrong?
I think in the future timeline, zamazu got the idea from watching the universe 7 vs 6 fight originally. so things are flowing naturally like they should, so time paradox may not be so much.
*Maybe Zamasu asks to create a copy of Goku "who has his exact same thoughts", that's how they have similar Ki. Remember evil thoughts can make your ki to be percieved as negative or so.* Or maybe Zamasu asks for a copy of Goku who is able to use his time ring... so Goku black is created and he has a ki of a Kaioshin.
I saw a pretty dope theory which was I think them having the Potara on the same ear, gives Zamasu the ability to channel his power into Black. Hence why he can wear and use the time ring only Gods or Kais can use as well as him being able to channel his Ki and moves IE the psionic knife ETC. I think it's also why he gets a Rose form as a super Saiyan I would imagine cuz it's a copy of Goku and Zamasus power both inside a "Saiyan"
My biggest problem is a bit of a loop hole. They have said the time split (currently time vs future) is also a split in universes (thus why killing the cyborgs didn't fix the future). If that's the case, future zamasu would have never met Goku because he was already dead. Thus none of this would have happened. Other than that, it's a fun story.

My theory on answering why Black and Zamasu have similar ki, based on Whis's theory, is he uses his own LIFEFORCE (think of how Old Kai gave his life to Goku in the Buu arc) to create Black. Except he's immortal and it doesn't kill him.

Do you saw the episode? They explain Zamasu ask the dragon for a being with the same body and abilities than Goku, and this being would be his serviant. End of story, still don't understand? The ki issue is probably Zamasu asked him to share his ki so he can use the time ring and some kaioshin magic.

Interesting that Black isn't just a copy of Goku since there Ki isn't the same but similar to Zamasu. (Spoilers from the Spoilers) What if that Zamasu resurrected himself as Goku in the Timeline that he was killed. Which also going to happen in the next episodes. I mean it is multiverse theory and the time ring can go to any possible timelines.

Well before Trunks traveled back in time, Zamasu at the moment didn't know who Goku is and even knowing of the Super Dragonballs. What if there was a timeline where Trunks never went back to ask for help? Everyone would be ready for the Universal Tournament. What if the Zamasu in the future was actually the Zamasu who participated in the Tournament who might've faced Goku?

Yo geekdom, how the hell does zamasu go from universe 10 to universe 6 and 7? Back in the u tournament arc beerus and even our kaioshin had to ride with whis in order to go between universes. How the hell is zamasu traveling between universes by himself? Just something I'm confused about. Even when beerus and goku were going to visit universe 10 they needed the help of whis to get there. Oh and zamasu is just going to "sneak" planet sized dragon balls around and summon a universal sized dragon without anyone noticing? Champa and vados noticed that kaioshin was watching them through his orb, Zeno noticed a tournament going on between gods of destruction but yet no one notices zamasu doing all the evil shit he's doing. The plot armor is strong in this one

Actually, Kaioshin, Elder Kaio, and Kibito were already at the tournament ring before Goku and co. arrived...and also remember Kaioshin can use Instantaneous Movement anywhere in the universe and even anywhere in any universe thats why they were able to leave their universe and go to see the King of All...so He can go anywhere they want but it does use a lot of energy traveling back and forth....
Remember Supreme Kai's have instantaneous teleportation even though Zamasu isn't one yet Gowasu probably taught it to him.

1. Animation - Good grief , too easy
2. Arcs - Nothing in Super comes close to the intensity or tension of the DBZ villans .. I pretty much don't even feel threatened with the new villans...Goku is a god, he's friends with the universe buster like Zeno .. We know , nobody can't even kill Goku
3. Too much Goku and Vegeta . Goku is my favorite character of all time. But holy shit, every one not named Goku is just absolutely USELESS ... OMFG.. In Z, Trunks killed the Androids and Freiza , Vegeta killed 19. Gohan Killed Cell and Goku Killed Buu. Even though Goku was always the "strongest", and he always played a major role in every fight... Other fighters weren't useless.. Krillen , Tien , Piccalo , Gotenks and etc... Everyone played a ROLE !
4. Goku is mentally challenged in DBS. In Z, even though he was goofy, he still got serious when times called for it, he acted like a mature adult most of the time with some humor here and there. But in S, he is a complete tool even a bully... He forcefully tried to fight Monaka. Like Goku in DBZ loved to fight, but he never forced people to fight him, in S, he 's a jackass who doesn't have a ounce of character development.

Actually, the final timeline is the one Trunks went back to in Cells timeline. In that timeline, they defeated Androids 19 & 20 and destroyed 16, 17 & 18 before they were released. He then came back to his timeline and defeated the Androids. Cell notices that, kills him, and steals his TimeMachine.

Those green rings are timelines that pertain to Universe 10 because each has their own Kai and Destroyer. Gowasu mentioned that one of those rings was used by an anonymous Kai to altar history related to Universe 10.
7:58 zamasu did not ask universe 7 supreme kai about the dragonballs prior to visiting zuno. nowhere in the episode was that mentioned. it was zuno who had contacted him (the supreme kai) to inform him that a person had come to see him to ask about goku and the dragonballs. .

Back to the twitter discussion (O-dog here). Goku Black appears in the future a year prior to Trunks going back to the past for help. Zamasu meets for the first time and spars with Goku lets say...a few days after Goku fought Black. I find it difficult to believe that first meeting with Goku is the reason why Black exists when Zamasu didn't even know about Goku before Black first appeared. UNLESS...Zamasu was playing innocent and was in fact plotting all this for a while now

So I don't know if it has been explicitely stated, but given how Gowasu said that each time the timeline is altered another Time Ring appears, so it's likely each Ring is linked to the timeline in which it was created, right? Zamasu doesn't know enough about the Time Rings yet, so he'll probably grab any one thinking they're all the same, that one being the ring which was created from the future timeline split, so he'll be travelling into Trunk's future. (This doesn't really explain how Zamasu and Gowasu used the Time Rings previously though)
Side note: Given Black keeps mentioning "This body", as in he is a seperate entity INSIDE the copied body of Goku, it's possible Zamasu somehow leaves an imprint in Black or something like that.
Gowasu specifically said that putting on one green earring temporarily grants you the status of Kaioshin(a god). So my guess is that when Black puts on the earring that Zamasu gave him he becomes a Kaioshin thus having similar ki to Zamasu. Just a theory.
Plus Mai said that there were still people around the world fighting for survival. Which contradicts what was said in episode 56.
Mai was driving the Scargo while taking Yajirobe back to base, the same vehicle Roshi drove in Toriyama's title art for tale 24 in the manga, and Lunch was driving it in tale 26 when she was first introduced. just noticed that this vehicle is a pun on escargot, because Toriyama drew it to resembles a snail.
ONE THING that doesnt make any sense is that zamasu in the future could not have been influenced by goku of that time because goku in that time line died a long time ago so theres no way he would have even sparked zamasus attention.
Because of the way time travel works in the DB universe the past has no affect on the future so goku fighting zamasu in the present can be the reason for him being evil in the present but NOT for the future zamasu. So what whis said cannot be true because it goes against everything that has happened in dragonball with time travel.

Hi Geekdom101, I have a question regarding the story-line.... Why did Zamasu go to so far away in future? It is mentioned that Trunks comes from 17 years in future, right? If he becomes immortal and has already wished existence of Goku black, then does not it make sense that he would rather attack in a more recent future timeline, even if it is adult trunk's timeline?
So.... are we going to get "I am a great Prognosticator" T-shirts?
Pretty confused though. My understanding of the timelines was that Trunks created a separate timeline when he went to the past in DBZ. However, after watching that episode it felt like Whis was basically saying the fight with Goku was what sparked Zamasus interested and created Black and this is why Black is tormenting the future timeline. If the whole multiverse thing isnt cleared up it could ruin super.
My only issue with the "time paradox" theory is, in ep 57 Zamasu, says to Black, " I just had to meet him (Goku)"... or something very similar. We could still be working with 2 (or 3) timeline variations of Zamasu.
So confused. I was under the impression that travelling back in time had no effect whatsoever on the future. Is the idea that Zamasu travels into the future specifically to bring goku back to life and to wreak havoc in the future? And if so, wouldn't there also be a Zamusu in the future who knew nothing of any of this?
The Kaioshins and the God of Destruction are linked. What if Black is Zamazu's God of Destruction hence why there Ki is similar. Which means that to kill Zamazu maybe you have to kill Black?
I just feel like all of the character theories are all of the ones that we, the audience, are thinking of. I think that if any of these things would be true, it would be too obvious, and Toriyama has to know this.
Having Gowasu be a future version of Zamasu that turned good would be a twist that could fit in DB canon and make sense.
Or any twist would be good, I'm sure. I already have seen the episode titles you shared, but even then you never know what could really happen in an episode.

A friend is visiting Japan for vacation he told they released the titles of episodes 59-60 as well as the description for each episode. Looks like episode 59 theyre watching over Zamazu to see whats his next move. What my buddy said is that episode 60 Berus kills Zamazu because they found out he killed Gowazu. So from there we know Zamazu indeed kills his teacher and finally some action from Berus.
I'm thinking that perhaps with Zamasu poisoning Gowasu's tea he is transferring some of his Dark ki into him, slowly beginning his transformation into Goku Black, In a sense "Killing" him. Could explain not only why Goku Black has a time ring on (I don't recall seeing Zamasu wearing one). Also with it being shown that Gowasu has a keen interest in watching Goku fight(watching him on the tv fighting Hit) that could explain why Goku Black mentioned that "this body" wanted to fight GOku, perhaps some of Gowasus personality is still present.
Just a theory, can't wait to see how this all plays out :D

I believe black ki is similar because 1: he is a kioshin (if you remember it zamazu only needed 1 earring to become a full flesh kioshin) so with both of them have massive amount of God kio ki but different original ki. 2: they are using the plot from superman 4 and samazu fuse his assent or made a copy of himself inside black's body, giving the original goku the evil persona.
Maybe how Black ends up in trunks timeline is because Zamasu kept using the time ring to make wishes until he ended up 20 years into the future... Also the time ring may have some sort of limitation which is why they end up in trunks timeline for a year waiting for the super dragonballs to reactivate to make more wishes all while destroying the population little by little.
I also really think that when we see Zamasu making a wish with the Super Dragon Balls it is just an example of what Whis is thinking about. Notice that in those shots Zamasu is wearing orange earings which are clearly not Gowasu's Potara, which he supposedly takes for himself after killing him.
This arc has been excellent. Super has definitely turned it around from it's earlier stuff. I'm getting to the point now where I can't wait for the next episode. It reminds me of when I was a kid and I'd buy the funimation VHS tapes of DBZ and there would only be 3 episodes per tape so I would get to watch like 6 episodes every month or so and I couldn't wait for the next ones.
The Ki thing is to do with the fact one is a Kaioshin and the other is the god of destruction. Or something to with that. IT's really one of the only other things mentioned in the other episodes left to tie in.

I don't think Zamas made any wishes in this timeline yet, I think that was just imaging from Whis speculating. Like you were saying the super dragon balls are inactive and Zamas hasn't taken the Portaras yet, so he couldn't have gone to the future yet.

Zamasu didn't contact Supreme Kai, apparently Zuno was the one who contacted the Supreme Kai, because he wanted to tell him that Zamasu had come asking about the Super Dragon Balls and Goku.
hey Geekdom! I'm here to tell you a cool story!
I live in Israel, and even though we're a small country we've a lot of anime fans, including DBZ (specifically DBZ. OG DB was never aired here. the movies were aired, but not the show itself)
now we always got the Japanese footage of the show, instead of getting an americanized version of it, like in Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh's case. so it was over 8,000 over here, and we have Burma, Picoro and Kririn. for some reason we also have a Makita instead of Vegita. we have planet Vegita, but not prince Vegita, but prince Makita.
now the big news is that recently (1.9.2016, which is the beginning of the school year) we got DBS dubbed in hebrew! which is not only amazing to find out DB is popular enough to warrant a dub, but also exciting that we're the first to dub DBS into our native language (suck it USA! for once we get nice things first!)
if you want to details I've got some contacts, which are high-schoolers who sub DBS, OG DB and were the one to push for a dubbed version of DBS
What if when Zamasu killed Gowasu he used Gowasu's body when creating Goku Black. Then when using the super dragon balls he could ask to just use the body and fuse Gowasu's ki with Goku's ki. That may produce a ki very similar to Zamasu's but im not sure. Since Gowasu and Goku would be fused together in a way the new body created would be part kaioshin and have the ability to use potara and time ring while still having the appearance of Goku Black.
It's funny that you used the term "absolute power" because in global we are learning about absolutism and my teacher made a BVS reference saying "one of my favorite quotes is, 'power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely'" and I screamed "that's from Batman V Superman!" And everyone shook their heads but she thought it was cool

I think that Zamasu take precautions while in the future, maybe he wished something or arranged something that even if he gets dead by anybody, his plan will continue. Would it be possible that the reason Black have a ring is to deploy a "plan b" in case something goes wrong?
I think in the future timeline, zamazu got the idea from watching the universe 7 vs 6 fight originally. so things are flowing naturally like they should, so time paradox may not be so much.
*Maybe Zamasu asks to create a copy of Goku "who has his exact same thoughts", that's how they have similar Ki. Remember evil thoughts can make your ki to be percieved as negative or so.*
Or maybe Zamasu asks for a copy of Goku who is able to use his time ring... so Goku black is created and he has a ki of a Kaioshin.
I saw a pretty dope theory which was I think them having the Potara on the same ear, gives Zamasu the ability to channel his power into Black. Hence why he can wear and use the time ring only Gods or Kais can use as well as him being able to channel his Ki and moves IE the psionic knife ETC. I think it's also why he gets a Rose form as a super Saiyan I would imagine cuz it's a copy of Goku and Zamasus power both inside a "Saiyan"
My biggest problem is a bit of a loop hole. They have said the time split (currently time vs future) is also a split in universes (thus why killing the cyborgs didn't fix the future). If that's the case, future zamasu would have never met Goku because he was already dead. Thus none of this would have happened.
Other than that, it's a fun story.
