Ive seen people finally getting happy about Vegeta :D I've always loved him because he's my favourite and been happy but nice to see not everyone whinging about him for a change!
I mean his son killed Frieza, He was pivotal in Cell's death and is the only reason Goku could even gather energy to kill Buu. He has the most kills in the series and Vegeta is at least equal to Goku which we thought would never happen AND swept basically all bar one, of the strongest fighters in the universe tournament... Yeah he got bashed by Black, but so did Goku, its fine.
Now this character development..? Fuck man i just love the character so much hahaha. DB Super is really ticking all the boxes for me recently! :D

Little Savage I love Vegeta so much. I'm 32 years old. Been following his character since Dragonball Z. His character has had the best Story and development. I do feel they have made him a bit soft. But he needs a good fight. In my opinion he should be level with Goku. I hope Goku and Vegeta team up like Brothers like in the Buu Saga etc!!
Same man, im only 20 but ever since first heard of dbz he was always my favourite pretty much since i can remember. I think he and Goku are equals now tbh, both have been stated to be stronger than the other recently so that must mean they're neck and neck, especially going off how easy Black discards them..
Same! tbh i already think Goku and Vegeta are brothers in a way, Not blood obviously & not in a best mates way, they still have that classic comedy of Vegeta getting pissed off with him and them always arguing but when it comes down to it he's saved Goku's life countless times, definitely a mateship there! Im just awaiting the day he kills a main villian now. I mean he's been heavily involved in all 3 main villain deaths, and either killed or defeated most of the minor villains/opponents. hopefully he eventually kills a major one! :D

Its possible (hoping for vegito return. Seeing as he was stronger than super buu, with gotenks, ultimate gohan and piccolo absorbed, in base form no less, where as vegeta and goku separate were severely outclassed. Imagine ssb vegito with that kind of power jump from the potara fusion, doubt black would stand a chance) and from what we know from the universe tournament, the dragon balls can separate that type of fusion (at least the Namekian one's can) as we have seen with supreme kai and kibito. Really hope that's the direction, would love a vegito return.

Being sloppy over and over doesn't make something good, it just makes it consistent. The fact is that sloppiness is just lost potential from the franchise. DB, Z, and GT have all been criticized for their sloppiness (especially GT, much less so Z due to over-nostalgia), so Super isn't free from criticism. Let's hope it's explained by the end of the arc. For now, I'll just wait patiently.

My theory is that Goten and Trunks will sneek in the time machine because obviously kid Trunks wants to help is future self, if that doesn't happen it makes that scene pointless. Meanwhile the fact that this episode ends with Gowasu makes me believe that he's going to play an important role for the next episodes, since he has the silver time ring he could go to Future Trunks timeline, find a way to make Future Zamasu mortal again (somehow) and maybe, just maybe, could give his potara earrings to Goku and Vegeta, if Black and Zamasu fuse that is.
Prediction: superman will come and kill black and zamasu with his mere presence and then he'll proceed to bitch smack zeno

I think that Goten and Trunks part in the story is to encourage Vegeta to do the fusion,as he saw them trying to go and help beating Zamasu and Black Goku though they had no chance but they still tried to help (reminds me the scene when the Z fighters attacked cell while he was doing the kamehameha against Gohan,and at some moment after Vegeta doubted is there anything they can do to help,he went and gave the little blow to cell which lead to Gohan being able to finish off cell).

Could be earth tech has advanced that much, or Vegeta told them to make one(not instructed but like demanded one or asked for one).

Beerus could've been right about killing Zamasu and repairing the future, but Goku Black had the time ring, which protected him from destruction in the future.

Yes, since it's the same Zamasu but Beerus' logic about Gods being affected was still wrong. But it doesn't make sense why the same Zamasu wasn't able to get the Time ring and avoid his death too.
Geekdom's video doesn't explain that problem despite what he says in this video and it seems that it won't even be explained in the anime.
My God....the way Trunks was taking it to Black. I haven't seen such unrelenting power and dominance since Mr. Satan laid a smackdown on those 14 tiles in front of Cell.
Pretty cool episode, but the "funny scenes" feel really out of place. The preview was the best part imo
I think I've figured out the next couple episodes. Goku and Vegeta go back to the future, Vegita takes on Black again, and Goku takes Zamasu. A lot of people think that Goku is going to fail with the Mafuba, but I think that he will be successful, giving Black an actual reason to switch his earring to the other ear. Once Black switches the Potara to his other ear, Zamasu will be unsealed via his Potara forcing his body to be fused with Black. I believe the power of the potara to permanently fuse two individuals is stronger than the magic of the Mafubas seal.
I feel that if Beerus fought, Zamasu and Black he would win. Because for one Beerus probably has hidden techniques we don't know about. Like the HaKai, it's not to say that Beerus wouldn't have trouble. On a scale from 1-10 Black and Zamasu would pose an 8 level threat. As a fusion Black and Zamasu would have a level 9 threat, because Beerus would have to use 90% of his power to beat them. Overall Beerus would win and it would probably be a really great fight. I still think this whole timeline stuff is going to get someone in trouble, because it's become a cluster fuck and has probably broken so many rules already. Knowing Toriyama he would probably make Zeno forgive Goku and friends and just tell them not to do it again. While Beerus does that wacky face in the background with Whis giggling. I'm still a Gohan/Piccolo fan and hope they become more relevant. Let's see what happens lol.

Felt like a tfs moment when Goku forgot about Piccolo knowing the technique and telepots to Roshi.
Also what many dont realize that they create a false tension, where Trunks could hypothetically die if they come too late. But there is no too late in time travel. They could literally train for years and still return to the future at that exact moment where they left off. Also Piccolo reminded me of the plothole why they never thought of using the Mafuba when facing Frieza, or any other DBZ villain.
This gave me a Dragon Ball feel when seeing Goku learning the Mafuba from Master Roshi. I remember when the Mafuba was used for the first time. Man I love that.
6 years ago, I didn't even know who Trunks was... I saw some videos on RUclips with the Z intro as well as DBZ episodes because I didn't want to wait for the Kai episodes during the Frieza arc sometimes especially during that huge break we had... and I saw a guy with purple/gray looking hair and wondered who that was because we had never seen him. I was talking to my cousins about Dragon Ball Z Kai and they talked about some guy named Trunks? I was thinking to myself who that was lol. Little did I know he would become my favorite character of all. I started with Kai in 7th grade. I remember when Trunks appeared for the first time in DBZ Kai and mopped the floor with Frieza's soldiers, Frieza, Frieza's dad, then warned us about the Androids, and fought using a sword and his awesome techniques, I just became a huge fan of Trunks from the get-go. Gohan had been my favorite character since the mid Saiyan Saga especially during the Frieza arc when he got most of his significant development next to training with Piccolo. When Vegeta joined our side, he became my favorite character. When Future Trunks came into the picture he was my favorite. All of the things that make each character who they are made them my favorites. As you can tell though, I was torn between who was my favorite for sure... It changed occasionally with time while watching the show. All things considered. Obviously after the Cell saga Gohan dropped way lower in my list... Future Trunks was my favorite despite being absent in the Buu arc. I know I'm saying both arc and saga. meh. Anyways. When Vegeta went SSJ for the first time that both we saw and the other Z fighters saw, it was an awesome moment. Just all these different things made those 3 my favorites in alltime favorites in DBZ for every arc. Goku was Number 4 I guess... Right now though... For Super my favorites are Trunks #1. Vegeta #2. Goku #3. Cabba #4. Piccolo #5. My favorite villain for sure is Zamasu/Goku Black just cuz. So yeah...

God Ki ma bro. Goku needed SSJ2 Ki to defeat zamasu alone in their sparring match. It means his god Ki at least 100× or more stronger than Goku's base Ki at that time. Filling filty Ki out of goku body and filling that zamasu's stronger Ki into that body + (zenkai boost + SSJ from goku) + other features from that monkey body. You got OP black.

As I said, It took Goku 200× stronger than his base to take zamasu down at that sparring (in this case a SSJ 2 form). That's the simple comparisson between them (Black and Goku Ki/ zamasu god Ki and base goku ki) as soon as switching the body

Gowasu at the end of the episode said that he will do something about this situation with zamasu so I think he will use the time ring to go to the future to talk to zamasu and they will kill him and goku and vegeta will use Gowasu potara earrings :)

Zamasu might be immortal but his body can still be damaged like when Black stabbed Goku through it with his Psionic blade in last week's episode and when Trunks stabbed him with his sword. If his body can be damaged in any way, then he technically should die if he's disintegrated at subatomic level

Prognosticating: Gowasu uses a time ring to go into the future where Goku, Vegeta and Trunks are fighting. The mafuuba failed, and somehow Zamasu and Black were forced to fuse. They will injure the three before Gowasu hands Vegeta and Goku his potara earrings, allowing them to fuse as well. Thus Vegito returns, vs Blackasu. Later, they will unfuse using the Dragon Balls again, though which set I dunno.
I think Trunk's new form is essentially his version of Mystic Gohan; it is stated that he trained with the Kais at some point, but may have never unlocked his full potential until now and his training with Vegeta. We KNOW for a fact that Saiyans' peak power is reached when they are feeling intense emotion, it has been proven countless times.
Trunks may have learned to partially use God Ki from Vegeta, but not yet mastered it, and combined what he knew with his raw half-breed potential and destructive anger.
This is also likely what happens with SSB when you haven't learned to properly control your ki.

I gotta say a lot of people have been giving future Trunks a hard time since he's showed up in Super but everyone was overlooking the fact that he was grieving the loss of his mother which is huge. But I have to say the kid is not just badass but he's a true Saiyan warrior, going up against these two guys that clearly out class him and he just fights on with zero fear I mean come on kid's got heart. When it's all said and done and considering what we have seen from Vegeta in Super, Trunks might finally get that "I'm proud of you son" from his dad he always wanted, lol.

-Vegeta's plan?!
-Kid Trunks and Goten.
-Maybe Beerus traveling with the timering??! A Kaioshin can do, so why the god of destruction is not allowed to use it. Sure the time machine is a forbidden for him.
What I got from the ending was Gowasu was going to do something about Berus being able to go to the future. I would love to see him fight those clowns
Vegeta hearing Bulma talk about how Goku will defeat them really ruffled his feathers. I think that was the lead in to him going back to the room of spirit and time. It looks like Vegeta will fight black and Goku will contain Zamasu.
When Young Trunks woke Goten up, I was hoping that would lead into fusion as being the answer. Not Gotenks, but Gogeta.

Now my theory on what's to come might sound a bit over the top fanboying, but talking about Super, I can actually see it turning out very fanservicy.
We can see Trunks powering up liker crazy. The potara fusion has been toyed around ever since Gowasu showed up. Then Piccolo in Freeza situation and now Trunks really teasing Gohan. So here goes:
The Back to the Future party is Goku, Vegeta and Gohan wants to join this time. Also Trunks and Goten pulls a 'GT ep1 Pan' on them hiding in the time machine, so all 5 of them ends up in the future.
Trunks' "incomplete SSJ Blue 2" gets overpowed by Black's over the top zenkai boosts just when the rescue party arrives so they can save Trunks in the last minute.
(incomplete SSJ Blue 2 is my headcanon for Trunks' current yet unexplained form. But him having the best contol of SSJ2 out of anyone right now and just beginning to understand god ki makes perfect sense to result in this when he goes all out. What do you think?)
So a part of the team escorts Trunks and Mai to safety, Probaby the kids, wether Gohan will go with them or stays to fight is something I didn't give much thought.
But Vegeta going all out on Black is comfirmed from the ep63 preview and Goku trying to seal Zamasu with the Mafuuba is also expected.
Now I'm with you on Goku failing the Mafuuba. If he just can't succed with it or he succeeds then Zamasu breaks Black free is something we just have to wait and see. But Trunks then Vegeta putting up a good fight next time is granted. Though an the end it possibly won't be enough and Vegeta and Goku will end up as beaten as Trunks.
That's when Beerus jumps in with the time ring Gowasu is probably about to lend him. And on this part I have to disagree with you Geekdom101, as I believe Beerus can take down Zamasu's immortal body. Though not as a fighter, strictly as a God of Destruction. What I mean by this is if Beerus just goes and attack Zamasu, the same will happen as any other damage he has taken. But when Beerus explains how he can nullify energy or as he kills the present Zamasu with some sort of ritual, now I think that is a power that can destroy immortal Zamasu as well. But cornering him to perform the ritual while Black is around might prove challenging even for Beerus.
Zamasu realising the threat Beerus means is what I think will result in Zamasu and Black using potara fusion, though this probably sacrafices Zamasu's immortality, but will make them able to overpower Beerus. And this fusion is what I expect to be the ending cliffhanger of ep 63
Up until this point I'm quite convinced my predictions should be accurat. From here on my Imagination went a bit wild and that's why I dragged in Goten, kid Trunks and Gohan.
Beerus will be beaten by fused Black Zamasu, and Whis will escape saving his master. So the Z fighters are left against one opponent far beyond them. I don't expect any more coming back to the present and regroup from here on. Either their anger is too stong and they are done running or can't run because the time machine gets damaged or something.
Now the kids also want to do somethig desperately, and they keep on ramblin about going Gotenks and kick the bad guy's ass which is obviously impossible given the gap in power. But they will end up giving the Idea for a solution: Gohan and Future Trunks will learn the fusion dance and win the bossfight of the arc.
I k now it's crazy, but I'd totally love to see that play out, and I see a chance for it to happen. What do you think?

They could have Gowasu use the Time Ring to bring the Future Zamasu into present for Beerus to destroy. However, based on the spoilers that's unlikely to happen

I enjoyed trunks kicking ass so much not only as a trunks fan but coz I feel like it's his timeline and he's feeling the pain of what's happening more than anyone else.
Goku now knows the Mafuba. He just keeps getting better. I love it.
Goku has great respect for Roshi. Remember that Roshi taught him physical and mental techniques before anyone. It was funny the way he tuned piccolo out, but I'm sure he'd rather learn from someone who taught him successfully before
i think the only other way to defeat Immortal Zamasu, besides the mafuba. IS if the two Zamausu's fuse there may be a chance blacks mortality might counter the Immortal wish. Then he may defeated . thats my theory.
im convinced that no one working on DBS understands how time travel works at all. do they realize that there is no danger in leaving mai or trunks behind in the future because a time machine should be able to take goku and vegeta back exactly a second after they left?
you realize they make a new timeline every time they go back and forth no matter when in the future trunks timeline they go to?
Kallizk you realize there are alternate timelines for each time they DONT come back to the future right, like one with mai getting killed by black is changed by having the characters go to the future? The writing isn't good and full of holes, I can understand not coming back before future bulma died but calibrating it so the future and main timelines are parallel because they wanted to create tension and it wouldn't be interesting for them to go to the future timeline, fail, go back to the main one and then come back a second after the left in the future because then there's no danger to mai at all.

U know what would be epic though. If after all of this trunks goes and trains gohan on howbto achieve the new super trunks form. Like the master becomes his pupal's pupal. Reverse the roles and then gohan gets on par strong with vegeta and goku. Getting ready for the next tournament arc of all the universes.
My feelings are pretty "meh" on this episode. Cool moments, overall "meh".
I AM, however, very excited to actually SEE Goku use the Mafuba. I want to see them try to corner/immobilize Black/Zamasu, I wanna see him use the technique, I wanna see it succeed/fail, I wanna see what kind of toll it takes on Goku physically, I want to see it ALL. That shit fucking FASCINATES me.
(from a Gohan fan) while the reunion could have used a few of Gohan's thoughts, or even a moment between Piccolo and Gohan (either a node or hand on the shoulder) But even the simple emotion in Gohan's eyes made me feel greatful for the *potiental* for something to come from it.
Would love to see Beerus get involved. This is the super Saiyan God goku he saw in his dream. Beerus can finally go full power.
The episode ending is not so weird when you think about them hinting the fusion. Gowasu would probably provide them the potara earrings that's why he said " I'll do something about it "

Not that he can contribute much at this point, but it was a beautiful touch having Gohan growing more concerned and angry the more he heard about F.Trunks shitty situation he's having.
The flashback of Trunks spending time with Gohans family, spoke volumes in how they depict Gohans reaction at realising he had no clue nor did he even inquire at how Trunks is doing and coping in his own timeline. It's moments like this I hope tease to Gohan reflecting on how absorbed with his own perfect little life he's been and how he should grow equally strong to defend such a richly blessed life.

I like how Goku was on the ground injured in Episode 62 just like Vegeta in the Namek Saga injured when he got beat up by Frieza. But I dont know if that was a Easter Egg that Toriyama wanted fans to figure out but I find that a lil funny
Something that will probably never happen but needs to, Gohan travels with Goku and Vegeta to the future after training and fuses with future Trunks to become Adult Gotenks fighting beside Goku and Vegeta. when I saw the scene of Gohan Being shocked and stunned after hearing what happened this is immediately what came into my mind first. I HIGHLY doubt they would do that but I need to see Adult Gotenks in the Anime

Nice review man, I'm kinda 50/50 on Beerus being able to take out Zamasu though. Cuz yes, super dragonballs are op brolic, but after seeing Beerus simply erase Zamasu with a single word, it's pretty clear Beerus has power we will probably never see. You might be right though, and Zamasu's immortality is something beyond even Beerus' means. Thanks for the vids, keep it up

Here's the thing: the difference between Goku, Vegeta and Trunks to Beerus is that he was meant to destroy. Zamasu's immortality seems to need one bit to survive, so Beerus could destroy him. If I decided how it'd go down, I'd have Zamasu gloat about his immortality and Beerus saying he'll have to "keep trying" or "try harder" and even resort to wiping out the universe of that timeline

Everyone saying Vegeta "running away" is out of character and some are even mad at the writing. Take into consideration that if he goes down, he can't protect his wife who happened to be in the future with them.
DB follows Multiverse Theory so killing Zamasu doesn't kill the other one. Like in the Androids Saga. Trunks explains that when they are taking Goku to Kami's House
I think it means Gowasu is gonna use the time rings to travel to the Future and get involved. Gowasu has some secret power up his sleeve
I think what will happen is that by the time Beerus returns to Earth (unless Gowasu takes him to that timeline which then ruins this theory) he will be ready to go, but the fight will be over, but he will destroy or keep the container that Zamasu is in (I think the Mafuba will work, but not initially).
Hey Geekdom about Trunks transformation, maybe it was the subtitules from where I was watching the chapter, but in one part where Vegeta is seeing Trunks new form, he says in his own mind that Trunks is planing on giving his own life in order to be on par with Black. Again maybe it was wrong subtitules but that caught my atention and maybe is giving some information about that new form
Gowasu said he's going to fix it. He's going to get the potara earrings to Goku and Vegeta so they can fuse.
They're wondering how to defeat Black? Really? Isn't it really obvious? Goku and Vegeta fuse, turn SSGSS even for a few minutes, kill Black and then they can figure out a way around Zamasu's immortality. But of course Vegeta will be 'too proud' to make a dance. Because it's super reasonable to put your pride over billions of dead people. If they really wanted to, Black would be dead by now.
I think Beerus could probably destroy Black, but that would be unsatisfying tbh... And I agree in that I dont think the Mafuba will work on Zamasu, at least not for long but it might seal him away long enough for goku and company to destroy black.
And I am hoping that the re-introduction of Goten and Gohan means they will play a part in the next arc. And hopefully once the future trunks arc is over they will update the appearance of Goten and Trunks as the only justification for not doing so was the plan to re-introduce Mirai Trunks.
Maybe Gowasu is gonna do some kind of sacrifice technique to stop the immortality. Since he wants to take responsibility
Did you notice that both Trunks and Goku have been pierced by energy blasts or the psionic sword and have healed themselves ...if only until they were hurt again by the same ..
Something that you didn't mention, Trunks' eyes go back to the blue but with a black outline for an instant and then to normal. I don't know if this is important, I guess we'll find out later in the arc.
