I live in Australia and I pre booked tickets to see The Sucide Squad as it has finally come out 😭 to my surprise we enter a emergency snap lockdown the same day I booked which is the first day it came out 🙃 THIS MEANS I CANT SEE THE MOVIE UGHHHHH KILL ME NOW HONESTLY IM LITERALLY CRYING THAT I CANT BE ABLE TO WATCH IT

Hate when interviewers ask the actors questions like “who would your character team up with in the MCU?” Haha these guys are doing a job, they don’t care at all about comics anymore. They got paid to do it.
Batman Lego same problem as the Suicide squad. Does not have balance of broad and nerdy that Guardians had because the Gunness was restrained. Once successful James Gunn unleashed with nothing broad appeal about it. Other examples George Lucas prequels vs all the help he got with originals even Guardians 2 was a bit off like Gunn likes, but less people do. Can’t call cult films that’s why they are cult films. People said that famously about Batman Lego when it was lauded, but also plunged at the box office. I agree he did Troma bloodiest goofy, but it had no heart for the broad audience because to have these characters be Toxic Avengersized the Troma way is to detach them from heart so you can enjoy the flesh tearing bloody fun done to them and by them. Evidence is since Harley was only one you loved her sequence of killing was bathed in flowers. Think about it Harley’s participation in the Gore fest was limited because she was not expendable which is why Gunn did not plan before to have Harley be in this $180 Troma usually to 180 mil Troma film. Bloodsport says to only Harley take the High Ground not for really strategy, but to keep her safe from being Tromotized for her future movies…..
David Dastmalchian is a massively underrated actor. He's great for the short screen time he has in both The Dark Knight and Prisoners.
