I think this video proves that there is yet one more thing that is as important as is the lighting: you have to get the client to laugh about something. That’s when the shots are amazing.
Well as a newbie to Sutdio lighting for portraiture this is a masterclass in optimising lighting. It seems current technology (App for flights, HDMI et) has made setting ip and repeatability a lot easier. I also like the idea of continuous lighting rather than flash as it is much easier on the eyes for the subject. The great results in the video of your portrait clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of the set up and the great photographic talent of your patient wife!
Shout out to Coco! I knew it was only a matter of time before she would step behind the camera and she did a great job. She always does great in front of the lens but would love to see more like this. No offense, Jiggy!
great set up. constant lights are coming back! i remember my high school senior portraits were taken with constant studio lights. they were shot on 120 film too but it hasnt come back quite as strongly. Coco did a FABULOUS job! be careful or she might put you out of a job. and that ANGELIC voice! you are a truly blessed man, Jiggie!
Kuya your the best. Blessed ks din with your wife. Thank you for this wonderful tips and I really enjoyed your instructions po! More lighting videos please.
your video are awesome, i really admired you. i have a doubt in my studio is 10x14 feet size. no natural ambient light, then 2 tube light (20w x 2 )only, the photo comes too much shadow areas, kindly guide me how much ambient light maintain in studio or room.
Thank you for this sir Jiggie. I guess, I'll only be sseing you here on YT. Really wanted to go to your workshop here on Leyte this month. If only I have enough funds. 😢 Maybe next time :)
If anyone is wondering: the thing attached to Jiggies lens (or technicaly his camera bracket) is called SmallRig 4148 Rotatable Horizontal-to-Vertical Mount Plate Kit
Thank you for delivering such a gentle yet very informative display of your talent! Your wife is a great supporter of yours. She compliments you well.
Glad you enjoyed the video
Watch out Jiggy... That pretty lady is gonna take your job! 😉
I hope so. LOL

How did you mount the monitor on the tripod?
Hi there. What flash trigger are you using?
None I was using continuous lights
So when does Coco get her own RUclips channel? She has a lovely voice by the way. 👍🏾
I could just change the name of this channel to Coco and Jiggie. LOL
1st
🙏🙏🙏
no more flash then? only led lights?
In this setup yes I used all LED lights. Same setup can be done with flash if you want to
sir jiggie, if we only have 3 ligths, where can we position the Main Light? Center? to eliminate that contrast?
Thank you
Not a self-portrait if you have someone else who pressed the shutter button. Just saying.
Read what I said in the description
@@JiggieAlejandrino at 0:11 of the video, you said it is a self-portrait
This is someone who is extremely good at what he does. Of all the amazing things he said, you focused on negativity.
