    You break the "jaggy: rules that i see alot of other artists employ. And yet when you do it , it looks great

      haha yep, the more pixel art I do, the more I realise those 'rules' are often more guidelines. I talk about the jaggy rule in my video about tips to master pixel art, and say that yes jaggies can look bad, but this is often because people use it without thinking about it. It's actually quite good for organic shapes like trees ! 💟 thanks for watching :p

      @@Mochibeans No sweat, it's just trippy at the beginning. Once I was used to it, no biggy.
      And aye! Each and every video I watched, including urs, were very much helpfull!! I've gone from 0 skill and talent to actually able to make comprehensible things. I just need to get clororing and shading down. As well as some smaller details c:

    don't know if this was ever mentioned but the voice if you use a headset only comes from the left speaker, and the music from the right, seems like the sound paths were exported separately, idk audio stuff hope it explains a tiny issue

      yes!! I'm so sorry the audio decided to export that way and RUclips won't let me fix it! I'll definitely try and find a way around it but thank you for notifying me 👍👍

    Thats some good video production value, ill have to try drawing trees using those techniques soon, or even use those techniques for non-tree objects

    Great tutorial! I seems to be having an issue with choosing the right canvas size for my projects. I went with a 128px and it was too small to draw in the intricate detail of the leaves. Perhaps in the the future you could give us a canvas size at the beginning of the tutorial. Even though I have a few issues my tree still turned out way better the the last one I tried. I'm going to do the tutorial a few more times to see if I can improve. Thanks for the help!!

    How do you choose your colors/make a color palette?
    Do you just use one of each?
    - highlight
    - midtone/base color
    - shadow

    Hey! Can you make a video on how to make repeating patterns in pixel art, I wanted to explore this for my cross stitch embroidery patterns where basically you create small X stitches on a grid fabric
    Each stitch represents individual pixel

    even tho i Stopped Pixart and general GameDev for now, i rly enjoy watching your videos and still learn things, one day if i am again on Peak motivation and start again i can use all the Soaked up Informations in Practical use.
    ps: if you Use OBS to Record, could it be that you unintentioly unticked "Mono" in Mic Settings?, i had that issue to begin from Streaming that i only hat Vocal sounds on one ear.

      hi thank you so much! For the record, I think I know why the audio problems are occuring, and it was because I put the audio through an enhancer. Beforehand it wasn't like that so I'm not too sure what's happened :p thanks tho!

      hi there! I use aseprite currently, which is a paid software (although relatively cheap and worth it if you're really considering pixel art as a big thing) hope this helps!

      yeah that makes sense, another reason for audio issues could be the fact that I accidentally set the voice to mono instead of stereo so thats been rly making the video a little bit wack. Maybe try subtitles for now? I'll take your feedback into consideration for future videos tho, thanks for commenting!
