That was perfect; But why didn't you use the same "Acetone" solvent for the tail and engines? Was that normal paint thinner?
M.R. Kamali some solvents tend to melt the plastic, so I choose to use a lesser strength solution. 👍 hope this helps.
Nice one, great advice. Would acetone free nail polish remover also work?
It may work more so on the plastics. But each brand tends to react differently. Case of trial and error. 👍
Do this with planes that have smaller engines and I have an Idea ( Herpa Wings 1:500 517645 Surinam Airways Airbus A340-300 PZ-TCP

I have a contact that prints them for me. I have an IL-76 in 500 scale I plan to do next week. I’ll do a video and get it up. Follow me and keep an eye out for it. 👍
