I live in south america (Argentina to be more specific) and i feel you
I may live in the US but I’m far from NY and I can’t afford to always see broadway shows. The only one that I’ve seen that wasn’t a bootleg was Hamilton. I wish broadway would sell official recordings of their musicals. I would totally pay over $50 or even more for an official recording. It would pay them for their hard work and all of us could get to see the musical without resorting to watching poorly recorded bootlegs because we knew there would be no other way to see it.

I was listening to this while working on a project for grad school and when I heard him switch to his Beetlejuice voice I froze. He sounds just like the animated version of Beetlejuice from the television show. That makes me very happy and I just hope that I can see the show one day!
I hope you get to see the show! I got to see it once and I want to see it at LEAST five more times. I love the show and the cast is so nice (especially Alex). It absolutely does justice to both the movie and the TV series. Plus, the soundtrack is FaNtAsTiC.

I love Alex and the Beetlejuice cast so much! I got the chance to see the show and it was fantastic. The cast was amazing, the sets were amazing, the songs were AmAzInG, it was (not to be dramatic) life changing. Also, the entire cast is SO nice and they will take the time to talk to you, especially Alex. They were all so genuine. I hope whoever is reading this gets to see the show because it does justice to both the movie and the TV series.

Diana Carriedo I don’t think it is ..... it is a vocal trick I think . I am pretty sure it’s a learned skill
Diana Carriedo he says in another interview he spent like a year learning to do it properly so I think you can practice it
Allie 12345 it isn’t a vocal trick you can just learn. You have to have to be able to move some specific folds in your throat to be able to do his voice
Chris H he also had a big team of medically trained professionals helping him with learning so I won’t recommend doing this without having trained professionals or else you rise messing up your vocal cords
I actually found out in choir the other day that I am a tenor and being able to go that low as a singing voice allows me to do the Beetlejuice voice.

Broadway needs to make more shows available to watch online. So many shows have aired over the years and they all can't preformed at the same time. On the 5th anniversary of a smash hit, make a live recording (Les Mis style) and put it on itunes for a wider audience to see.

Was he in “School Of Rock” before it closed? Because I saw it a couple of weeks before it closed, and then when I saw the clips from Beetlejuice I was like “That guy sounds familiar. Was he in ‘School Of Rock’?”. And turns out he was! But I’m not sure if he was the one I saw. I hope I can see him in Beetlejuice! It looks so good!

I just saw Beetlejuice, and Alex is absolutely amazing in it!
I can definitely say that in the show (bc I've seen it) beetlejuice does say/do some volgur shit (mostly towards adam) but I loved it. it made it so funny and that's beetlejuices personality and it makes me love it even more.

35 MM is like one of my favorite musicals because it is so strange. Alex is totally different, but still amazing in it.
i feel like watching a show, whether it be broadway, a community show, or a small school performance can change people’s lives. it takes all of your misery away from you. for however long that performance is, it takes you away from life and into a whole new world. even if you go into that misery again once it’s over, that short time of being happy and not worrying about a thing is amazing.
