Good question. I take a photo with my phone or tablet, then import it into a program such as Procreate, then add a new layer on top of the image that I can draw on with my stylus and experiment with placement of the gold leaf until I find a composition that I’m happy with. The online course that this video is from is called ‘Glimmering Gardens’, and in the course I go more in depth as to how I work out compositions through mockups. Thank you. I assume you mean the large brush? I'm not even sure what it would be called. I just happened to have it in my stash, and loved that its bristles are stiff enough to remove the excess gold leaf.
Hi artists. Enjoy this demo on how I use gold leaf.
How beautiful!❤❤❤
Thanks for watching. I am happy you enjoyed it. Gold leaf is a little tricky to work with, but the result is beautiful.

I am enjoying your You Tube videos. In this one you referred to a Mock Up or Source
How do you make your mock ups?😊

Ooh. What kind of brush is that? I want one of them. Nice work you do btw. I love your style.
