Great video. Thank you
If you have solar on the roof, or a portable panel, and have your Bluetti plugged in, you'll get longer run time on your AC on a sunny day. I also have the EB70S. :)
Jon in rural BC, Canada
Pretty impressive
Merci pour le vidéo
Looks like a great item to have on my camping trips. Just wondering where did you get it from ?
You can get them from Amazon or Bluetti.com
Did you have charged batteries on the RV when you did this? I wonder what kind of draw there would be if trying to charge the batteries at the same time.
Yup batteries were obviously charged or I would have drain way more power.. I will let you know next year trailer is stored for winter loll By watching the complete video you could have figured it out
How long do you think it will last with no ac
This awesome what kind of plug 🔌 conversion is that?
Very easy to find on Amazon
Why not use with panels while you use it
Hi Daniel thanks you for your video it was really useful. My question is do you recommend me to buy that because I also have a campervan ?
Can I use it for fridge ?thanks
Everything with those unit will depend on your requirement un energy.. If you require 800 watts and less oh yes I do recommend it. If you plan to use an electric blanket 12 volts not sure as i had issues by using it with that. But for a 12 volts fridge my Alpicool C40 can run for 72 hours on a single charge
Thanks for your reply Daniel. Actually I am actually using my campervan as a house. I am living in it. As you know I have to keep the fridge switch on every day and every hour other wise I have a lot of foods and freezing meat will get burn. I mean fridge should be switch on everyday. Except fridge i need electricity for my phone laptop oven and heating system and others. Do you still recommend bluetti ?
@@damndanielstv5650 With the 100 watts pannel I got I get 109 watts when good sun bt this is only when i get good sun other wise it,s cmpletely random.. When you plug the Bluetti EB70S to the ligther plug you'll get around 95 watts to charge.. I am using the 12 volts fridge Alpicool C40 who use only 34 watts when working but that will also depend at what temperature you set it and the outside temperature... So yes everything is very different from one area to another, as humidity is variable too.. and it will also depend if your fridge got a cool ventilation.. As i dont have all your details i would say yes for what i know from you.. If you use your fridge in freezer i recommend you get a stronger Bluetti than the EB70S but it will take a while to charge it if you dont have the 200 watts panel
@@damndanielstv5650 How much watts do you kit require when in use? such as when the compressor of your fridge works? Without any numbers it is hard for me to recommend this unit.. but I don't beleive it willl be enough for your usage as you are using it as a freezer... You should get the 2000 watts with the 200 watts pannels
Yes... I agree 😎 The 2000 watt would be better for him in the long run but he would need according to Bluetti, 2 x 200 solar panels preferably the PV ones... They occasionally run sales on the complete system on Amazon and Bluetti's website as well...
IF he s living in it, then that would be a wise investment...
The EB70s is only a medium power source that would require more frequent replenishment...
Still, 2500 cycles is minimum for that and it could last more than 5-7 years...
You need to turn off you rv battery charger
You are running the van via AC so the lights might run from DC so there is another conversion loss ?
Its a camping trailer, it was just a test you always got losts such as radio screen, co2 detector etc.. my point wasnt lost butcan it work or not on a small solar generator
@@Daniel-rx7bf ok
@@Daniel-rx7bf no he is saying there is a DC battery charger on that RV that charges your factory batteries on trailer you need to turn it off
@@supremeautomotive6749 the point was only to do a 'test' and thats it... to see how effective was the Bluetti..
My point was only to test the Bluetti to see how effective it was dude
You probably hear this a lot, but you need a bigger unit.
If i dont use the AC im good thx
@@Daniel-rx7bf I wasn't talking about your bluetti
@@allaboutroofing2 I'm sorry but you seems to know my precise power requirements better than i am... loll and we dont even know each other! And no youre the first one telling me i need a bigger unit.. just by judging on a single test video.. sorry but you're so wrong
Say i had a freezer at 50w when it runs. And its really inefficient and it runs 5 mins ever 15 mins. In a span of 1 hour it runs about 15 mins total. In the span of 4 hours i would have ran the compressor for 1 hour. In that 4 hours i would have used 50wh out the battery. If this is true then in 8 hours i would use 100wh so in theory with 500wh available i shoud get nealy 45 hours of frozen foods with no other sources coming in. With a 120w panel in good conditions i shoud get abound 90 - 100w in a matter of 1 hour of compressor run time i would have nearly produced 400w with 50 coming out every 4 hrs. So 350 left over to use or store. So i say roughly abound 6 hours of good sun i should be safe for 36 hours of frozen foods. .. i think to be on the safer side i better get the B80 expansion battery at 800wh. And maybe another 100w solar
Come on. You should run the ac on low fan at lowest setting in a camper, keeps it quiet and cool.
Yes I tried it good for 2-3 hours depending on setting
For how many minutes can you run
About an hour and 15 mins
It says in the manual not to use this with a air conditioner or a refrigerator. It will break them
Thx i will check it out for the AC but why not a 12 volts fridge??
That's too bad because a refrigerator would probably be the main thing I'd get it for.
@@artdogg50 I never saw that in the manual..
That isn't in my manuel nor on Bluetti's website...
I even looked at Google and there wasn t anything there either...
Though Taxing the system at 800 watts continuously wouldn't be good for it..
And you'd lose some longevity as you'd have to charge it at least 2 times a day... I run my 12 volt dc/120 volt ac refrigerator all the time and with my other things and toys, I only take out 500 wh a day...
This is good for an emergency. Not good for long-term use. Save for emergency
Its good for 2,500 cycles
