Thank you for your comment. I would say the two are both waist darts with the aim of reducing the excess fabric around the waist to endure the bodice hugs your waist snugly. However in my case, I tried to explain in more detail how you get the centimeters that you are supposed to reduce at the waist. I used my own measurements, however you can replace them with yours to archive more or less the same results.
