"You Have A Big Surprise Coming To You" Teaser: ruclips.net/video/-leMD3hBZPA/видео.html Chosen Memories From The Overlook's Gold Room Definitive Edition is out NOW!: ruclips.net/video/ogiMYWSNEtQ/видео.html
The music of the 1920s was absolutely wonderful to listen to, as does the music of the 1930s and 1940s it's this type of music that all you have to do is sit back close your eyes and you're taken back to a simpler time.
Да, я с вами согласен. И кстати очень интересно наблюдать за музыкой разных стран в 1920-1930 годах, она вроде и похожа, но при этом в ней есть что-то особенное, в зависимости от страны
Listened to this while composing a little Overlook-themed fanfic of my own. It was 3 AM in the morning. The gentle melodies really helped me immerse myself into the atmosphere of that majestic hotel, and I was really starting to feel relaxed, comfortable and at home in these corridors, it left a real soothing feeling. And then, 53:45 came.
Я тоже однажды ночью слушал этот альбом и просто пытался заснуть, и тут вдруг раздался этот пронзительный крик. Я думаю что автор пытался донести истинные намерения этого отеля, каким бы прекрасным он не казался
I'm currently working on a dementiacore album, and while listening to yours I understood why I love The Caretaker and The Shining so much : this old distorted music sounds so warm and terrifying at a time. it creates memories you never knew existed inside of you...
I'd love to hear it when it's finished but the term dementiacore is... really disturbing. Is that your term or the term widely used in that space? Couldn't they call it something a little less insidiously insensitive? Memorycore, something?
@@JimTheCurator I stopped using this term recently, because it doesn't sound well and not very serious. If you want, I released the single for the album, now availalble on my channel and on my Soundcloud ! ;)
Besides the Tower of Terror queue line music, this is one of the most amazing things I have ever heard. I am in love 🥺😭 You can never go wrong with The Shining! ❤❤
@@osmanwallace3397 Tower of Terror is a ride in Disneyland. It is based off of The Twilight Zone, a horror TV show from way back when. The Hollywood Tower Hotel is the name of the building from the "story" which actually isn't even in an episode within the Twilight Zone franchise. I am glad I got to ride the elevator of it before it shut down in California. I believe there is still one in Florida you can go to if you wanna ride it.
The fab tune, titled- There's a small hotel, is a song I've heard dozens of times, still ace today! Of course, haunting sounds of Al Bowlly as well on these sites. Lovely.
Now This is an Idea: Making The Shining's possession and story into a Concept Album. It's like taking a the exact original inspiration from EATEOT the ending scene of the Kubrick film and faithfully adapting the Film in a new light rather than the direction that led to EATEOT over time. It's brilliant.
OMG!!! I love this and when I was a teenager in the 1960's my friends would reluctantly come over becacause of my love of this music...Which do you wish to hear? This or "ina gadadaVida"???
I love how the songs are slowed and their pitches are lowered as if these songs were hallucinations from an insane person. in this case, Jack Torrence.
That’s an excellent spot. In all likleyhood they are meant to symbolise a rocket. Remember, Danny had a rocket on his jumper. There was a theme of space rockets throughout and some theories that Kubrick was implying that the space missions had been faked. He made the movie ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ so if anyone could spot a fake at that time it’d be him.
@@timeisaflatcircle that theory never really made much sense to me. They sure the rockets aren’t just a reference or promo for 2001? And there’s a difference between a set piece and the real deal. Especially if it’s an advanced futuristic rocket in the movie. And the theory that he did film the fake moon landing makes no sense at all. Why’d he give that away?
ayo, this is amazing first of all but i'm so sorry to break this one single thing you shouldnt have done😮 i know, but PLEASE dont use the default audacity's reverb. Get Oril River, that plugin makes the reverb higher quality with more options. You'll thank me later 😅
Hontestly, I'm not a fan of these extremely slow effects with those old records. To me, it doesn't add more creepiness or horror ambiance. It's just extremely boring to listen to.

@@AHrAP Вообще, на мой взгляд - лучшее произведение Стивена Кинга. При всей злобе Отеля - он остаётся притягательным.

Exactly
"dementiacore" 💀

Or....maybe this music is awakening memories from a former life? I happen to believe this.
Besides the Tower of Terror queue line music, this is one of the most amazing things I have ever heard. I am in love 🥺😭 You can never go wrong with The Shining! ❤❤
Hell yea, its possibly my favourite movie of all time
what is Tower of Terror or with less subtlety, who cares, when compared to The Shining soundtrack??
@@osmanwallace3397 it’s the exact same concept in terms of music tho…
Hi Hanna, can I dig your ear?

The Gold Room is the shape of a coffin.
Good looks 👍
Do you say that because of the shape?
@@sielorstout1213yes. It literally says that.
God! I'd love to roller skate around the Overlook Hotel! Just roll around drunk and singing!
Johnny will be behind you!
That would be so fun!

Amazing but I'm scared. Love it!!
Hi Kat, would you like a massage?
Loved the creepy eerie vibe some of the songs gave, definitely one of the most amazing things I've ever heard! 10/10!!!
Thank you for brightening my day.
I love this music, and the Gold Room. Thank You for making this and sharing 😊😊❤
Thanks for uploading
Absolute perfection.
It's christmas, the best period to watch and hear shining, one oh the best video to me.
This is so dope. Very relaxing.
Lovely music until 53:52 and now I have to go and change.
I love this, very well done.
Ahhhh, yes...reminds me of my time in Rapture, all those years ago...🌊
I love this i listen to eateot to help me sleep and i watch the shining every day thank you
No television to steal all the attention. That's why there is this Hockney-like atmosphere in this photo and indeed in this music!
Listen with headphones. Trust me, a far more immersive and unsettling experience
Always did

❤ the shining
Maravilhoso
I demand another 5 parts of this
"WEIRD ... CREEPY ... BUT VERY COOL AND PEACEFUL/SUBLIME" ... 😢 ... 🫶 ...
Track 6: is it me, or do the long/skinny _natives_ on the far east wall resemble NASA rockets? lol

Fantastic even if didn't make the film or the making this would be playing in the gold room if u had alllll night lol
Hiya Lloyd, I've been away but now I'm back.
Is 34:34 another version of a song that was sampled for an empty bliss beond this world, because it sounds eriely similar to it

super
41:26 anyone know the sample name
gemütlichkeit
genau
The continuous lowering of pitch throughout the album in attempts to make it sound creepier make me a dull boy.
Uma sala solitária tem seus encantos quando há música nela. Quero girar na sonoridade dos seus ecos. Há alguém aí?
Help please, Who sings the version on track no 3, If I had you?
!spoilers 53:53 scared me to deatg
Wow, damn perfect (except for maybe snowflakes coulda looked better?) Dunno how u found some of these tracks. So we’ll done
Do you plan to reupload restored any time soon or try appealing the original upload?
I’m still trying to figure it out.
Danny boy Malmö 34 .now 34a u see
thats my kind of music not like this modernist shit that sounds like a combination of ambulance sirens and a donkey fart
