Good work, great music. But in my opinion more than a trailer is an homage. A trailer tries to avoid spoilers and this one is full of them. Keep your good work. Best wishes.
Just gotta say the setup of Oregon hotel site and the interior (based on the Ahwahnee in Yosemite) were absolute perfect for the vast foreboding coldness and also the dated tacky 1920's design adds an extra layer of creepiness The real star of the movie this composite hotel Production team shouldve won an Oscar
Interesting concept, very good editing. But I feel like it spoils too much of the film, and the music doesn't quite fit. But again, very good editing. Keep up the good work!
Well edited and the Wendy Carlos score is terrific. I would definitely echo what @AntuaDeJanei said in their comment about this *not* being a trailer. If I saw this before seeing the movie for the first time I would have been terribly upset about it including shots and spoilers from all the best scenes in the movie. An “homage” is the better description and it does a marvelous job of capturing the tension, fear and horror from this masterpiece. As a personal side note, I would say that “The Shining” is one of those small handful of films that is as close to a 10 as a movie can get. A couple others might be “Jaws”, possibly“Saving Private Ryan” (while we’re mentioning Spielberg flicks), “Back to the Future” (the first one), probably “Forrest Gump” (again, while bringing up Zemeckis movies) and a very small handful of others. I would be tempted to add “2001” and even “A Clockwork Orange” from Kubrick’s catalog, but that might depend on the day I compile my list. Anyone have their own movies that are considered the cream of the crop films?
Many YT videographers say: "It doesn't matter if you hit the thumbs down (or up) button, it helps the channel either way." Well, I'm glad I could help.
If this is a supercut that’s being released in cinemas soon it will probably release in 2025 how did you get hold of this footage I have seen the European version of the shining & have seen the American version of the shining & I have seen the extended cut of the shining & nexted I’m watching 133 minutes of the shining which is the Canadian version which has longer hollaran death footage & the supercut will probably have the longer death footage finally it’s being released & I’m saying more when you get this
big time lawsuit at least in california if the law actually practiced law. California Penal Code 529 describes “false Impersonation” which makes it illegal to impersonate someone, by using their name, in an effort to unlawfully gain a benefit or cause harm to that person.
Suggestion: remove the paper and typewriter insert shots bc it makes me think the murders and horrors aren't really happening - that they're scenes in whatever screenplay you're showing shots of
Actually, what's wrong with the situation where you get the feeling that these things aren't really happening, but are part of the script? I didn't have that impression, but if you did, it could be treated as an additional interpretive clue. In my opinion, it's a plus.
This isn't intelligent. A trailer should never wrap up the movie giving away every steps of the story progression. For example, the father's transformantion into a killer is a slow progress during the movie. When your trailer already tells what's going to happen, it's an anticlimactic strategy.
The edit is sufficiently disjunctive so as to engage new audiences coming to the movie sight unseen and masterfully presented as an overview/oversight in the Overlook as the site specific.☆☆☆☆☆

after u watch a trailer in 2024 there's no need to see the movie. It's accurate
I loved this! Great work!

Good work.
And like a 2024 trailer it gives away way too much.
well done
This trailer is scarier then the movie
If this sounds like I’m dissing on the movie, I’m not. I absolutely love it
The Shining | Supercut of the most iconic parts
This isn’t a trailer. It is a recap for all the scaredy cats too scared to watch the whole movie.
Very well done 👍. This shows how scary the movie really is.

I can't believe!
Approved for all audiences
Yup! Needs to change the MPAA card to red band.
Cool music

Ha, U mentioned many of the ones I would have listed especially Jaws…I’d also include Star Wars
@ Yeah, I was going to amend my list to add “Star Wars” and probably “Empire” as well. And “Raiders” probably also belongs on the list.
@ How could we forget Raiders?!
Nice

Harrowing, even more horrendous & compelling than the original trailer of the film!

Nice work! Is this music used in the movie? I can't remember it...

@jurgi you're right. Opinions are subjective to ones taste.
Couldnt be 2024 with a pack of cigarettes at the typewriter
This is not a 2024 trailer.Where are the blinding, flashing lights and the headache inducing thumping sounds?
Nice trailer!
Also why the heck is this not a Redband Trailer?
1:15 burned it

Gives way too much away and is misleading as to the character of the movie.
