Hello sir, i have a problem with a vw passat b8, all of the sudden the telephone module stop working. When i press the telephone button on multimedia screen an message appears: "Telephone not available", in the dashboard the message: "Starting telephone..." (stucked). The app-connect function is disabled as well: "App-Connect, You can activate this function by means of an activation key. Please contact dealer" (it worked prior to this problem). I tried to reset the multimedia pressing ~10 sec the left know but it didn't fix it. Maybe you have a fix? Or please tell me where is the bluetooth/telephone module so i can pull it out and replace it? Thank you verry much for your time.
Pretty awesome.. Curiosity killed the cat, but what happens if after this module is installed and you press the button because you forget that the module is installed. Does that mean, the system will recognize the pressing of the button (Even with the installed module)?

Hello Mr.Fix I had a question. I just did a MIB2 retrofit with an 8in glass screen and I got vw to take the component protection off the unit, however, there is still no sound. What could possible be wrong?
Hi mr-fix, I have an issue with my car not displaying driving modes despite having the button for it and it being connected. This is a feature that already came with the car as it's a mk7 gti with DCC. Wanted to know if you are able to guide me or help me look for what may be the issue with my car not displaying driver modes. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi Mr.Fix, I just did a mib2 swap to my mk7 gti however even after component protection was removed, I still don't have any sound. Any ideas on how to fix it?
I think is less risky doing that with VCDS or OBDeleven. You set voltaje to 13V the lower level for disable Start&Stop and problem solved without touch any screw.
I don't think OBD11 is the best solution. I tried it while I waited for the cable in the mail. It seems the car still tried to turn off, but couldn't because the voltage has changed. I could feel that something happened to the car, but it just won't turn the engine off. After the cable arrive, I changed it all back to normal using the cable harness only.
Vcds does not fully code it out. It will disable it at the cost of an error being presented on your instrument cluster. That connecter has an actual module built in to fully control the deactivation of the start/stop feature that is why they are model specific. You can't use one for an A3 on a Q3 etc...and programmed by default to always be off.

Check if it’s coded correctly. Maybe it’s set to external amp instead of the internal? Do you have Dynaudio/Fender sound system?
Witam, dlaczego nie wyłączysz w vcds np? ja tak zrobiłem w tt z 2018r bez rozbierania, działa ekstra od ponad roku. Pozdrawiam
Would this work for any kinda of vw/Audi button ? Like my ESP in my mk6 golf ?
*edit* never mind, plug is different 😢
For ESP you can just pull the fuse from the ABS module. At your own risk.
@@mrfixpl yes, but that totally kills ABS, ESP still still cut a small amount with it "off" but will allow wheel spin

I have cable in my Passat B8. Same concept. Really good, is just remember the last status, even after disconecting the battery.
