The GBoard is a big plus for me, even using on 40mm (small wrist means small fingers ;)). I was never a good T9 user. Good that the GW4 leaves different options.

@@joed3482, you have to calibrate the watch with an approved medical BP kit three times, then it works on its own. Also to calibrate, you have to use the Samsung health app on a Samsung phone.

@@seanoleary3428 I have traded up to the Watch 4 classic from the watch 3 because of wear OS, and I can say the battery is a little better on the 4. The battery is bigger in the 4, however the screen is higher res and brighter so they cancel each other out a little. I use/ used the always on function function on with both watches and normal end the day with 10-15% more than I did with the 3.
I have the GW4 (active style) and the bezel seems to work good but a slight movement inward it sometimes opens the app it’s strolling through then I have to close app and scroll again. It is a very responsive screen which making the swipe action so much better than bezel scrolling. I have the galaxy watch and galaxy watch 3 which I love the physical bezel, Active 2 digital bezel frustrates me at times, however with the GW4 i’m enjoying the swipe action a lot. It’s more natural to me after swiping through phone all the time.
I have an average size wrist for a guy. I have the larger watch, and im glad i do. The smaller watch just would have too small of a screen. Also the strap that comes with the watch is a good size. theres 5+ notch holes on each side of where i buckle the watch

I did this step-by-step several times for the G keyboard.... mine does not give this option. It has the default as "Samsung keyboard " and Samsung keyboard is the only option on the list of "all". Any suggestions?
This helped me decide whether to buy the watch, i will, struggled a bit choosing between normal and classic model but normal one is better and that rotation gesture seems just fine on touchscreen

Love your videos man! I have bought Galaxy watch 4 classic from UAE and I live in Australia. But the watch doesn't have Australia as a pre-loaded region. How much will it affect the watch's performance?
The GBoard would only be ideal for English language, specially for the swipe gesture and spelling correction feature. Other than that, I would still use the good old default keyboard that comes with it out of the box.
It works with Polish language perfectly. Typing suggestions are really good, and the Speech To Text does the job as well. I'm so impressed. Default Samsung keyboard can't do that.
Both watch 4 and watch 4 classic 44mm / 46mm are basically the same watch internally, same display, battery etc. So it should last most of tge day if you are playing with it and using all features. Lasts for 2 days with some features off and low usage

Avoid this watch in the LTE version if you intend to make a lot of phone calls. Calls lasting over 5-6+ minutes will cause the watch to overheat and crash/shutdown... hanging up on your caller. This is a hardware design flaw in the LTE version. There's nothing you can do about it besides moving your place of residency to a really cold climate, like maybe Greenland or Finland. The Bluetooth version is not affected by this design flaw.
I heard there was an update for lte versions. That's too bad its had such a heating issue for phone calls / other data intensive features crashing after 5-10 minutes. Buy thr bluetooth version if you want to save some money and get a great reliable device!
No overheating at all after making several calls during the week each lasting for around two hours. Battery went down to ~ 30% after each call but that’s to be expected.

I hate how you no longer have access to the Galaxy Store for watch faces for the 4 series. And yes, you can charge the Watch 4 series on the back of any compatable Samsung device with Wireless Power Share.
That is too bad. Maybe it will be available in fhe future. Seems like some features are left out at launch on the watch 4. Like google assistant for one example.

Please make a video about the overheating problem with LTE! Phonecalls are interrupted within minutes, even when not using the watch it is overheating in 'LTE only' mode. So sad

I didnt show the brightness, but simply put, theres adaptive brightness or custom brightness. Its way bright, even on a bright sunny day under direct sunlight
What's up with none of the chargers working for the galaxy 4? Went on Amazon to find a wireless 3 in 1 charger for my phone, watch and buds. None are compatible with the watch 4. I googled and the watch 4 has some alternative qi charging? Can't find a article that really explains why it won't work with half the chargers out there. I know the samsung trio pad will work. But my phone needs to be flat. I prefer it charging vertical so if I'm not asleep yet and an important text comes in I can see it.. at least 1 of the chargers I was looking at says there's a updated one in the works to be compatible with the watch 4
I havent heard that before but yes the watch wont charge on a normal wireless charger. It has to be made for a watch. You could always go with a vertical wireless charger that also has a mount for the watch. Go with this one. I heard it works. Thats my link amzn.to/3Erzmsd

But this does work with your watch 4? Maybe I'll give it a shot. People are saying the watch 4 uses WPC charging. That's why it won't work with most of these chargers. But I thought WPC was basically Qi. This is the one I was looking at. On the 3rd card you'll notice the watch 4 and classic are in red and it says wait for the upgraded model. So even this one ment for watches won't work due to the changes samsung made with their watch 4 and classic. Every time I put my Google maps the watch starts giving me directions as well and it's kind of annoying. Anyone knows how to turn this feature off? TIA
@@Develoquent i do have to add that my watch 4 classic 42mm is currently stuck in a seemingly endless boot-loop. Not even the hardware rescue or factory options seem to work as they should. Maybe I havent allowed it enough time yet. the manual states to give it several minutes so i figured 60 is should be enough but umm no no =) other than that i really do like it xD
I m not very much happy with watch 4 Coz with tizen whatsapp was working better I used both watch 2 n 3 Whatsapp is giving me hard time images are not supported by wear os niether voice notes It was working fine with tizen Still i have kept it Coz of its light weight and health feature

The battery life should last all day, but If all features are on, and you are using it frequently, it might not last all day. With low use, I can last similar to the Apple watch, up to 2 days.

I havent seen the older tizen watch faces, but i would say there is a few good looking watch faces out of the box on the GW4. Although i quickly went on the search for new watch faces.

Why do you need a keyboard? My 4-year-old Apple Watch 3 understands my speech 100% of the time. There’s no way I’m typing on a watch-sized keyboard.

Marine Commander is my favorite one too. Always come back to that one. I changed my compass for world time as I think it might drain battery.

Only on the watch that i can tell. But it allows all four squares to customize with many different options.

Try Uninstalling it in google play store then try again. Also look all around inside the input settings, maybe it's hiding down below

I want a one-touch Bluetooth volume control on the face but that doesn't seem to exist.

This is a hardware design flaw in the LTE version. There's nothing you can do about it besides moving your place of residency to a really cold climate, like maybe Greenland or Finland. The Bluetooth version is not affected by this design flaw.
I heard there was an update for lte versions. That's too bad its had such a heating issue for phone calls / other data intensive features crashing after 5-10 minutes. Buy thr bluetooth version if you want to save some money and get a great reliable device!
No overheating at all after making several calls during the week each lasting for around two hours. Battery went down to ~ 30% after each call but that’s to be expected.
@@wernerschroer6138 That's because you're replying to a NEARLY 1yr old comment! Samsung has released tons of FW updates since to address the overheating issues which were all well documented online & in YT videos.
i do belive you can charge it with the back off your phone on a supported samsung phone with that feature

My watch does charge on s20fe. But it won't charge if the phone is charging.
I hate how you no longer have access to the Galaxy Store for watch faces for the 4 series. And yes, you can charge the Watch 4 series on the back of any compatable Samsung device with Wireless Power Share.
That is too bad. Maybe it will be available in fhe future. Seems like some features are left out at launch on the watch 4. Like google assistant for one example.

Please make a video about the overheating problem with LTE! Phonecalls are interrupted within minutes, even when not using the watch it is overheating in 'LTE only' mode. So sad
I cant believe that! I dont have an a LTE version myself, but maybe ill make a pros and cons of the watch 4 / watch 4 LTE

I didnt show the brightness, but simply put, theres adaptive brightness or custom brightness. Its way bright, even on a bright sunny day under direct sunlight

What's up with none of the chargers working for the galaxy 4? Went on Amazon to find a wireless 3 in 1 charger for my phone, watch and buds. None are compatible with the watch 4. I googled and the watch 4 has some alternative qi charging? Can't find a article that really explains why it won't work with half the chargers out there.
I know the samsung trio pad will work. But my phone needs to be flat. I prefer it charging vertical so if I'm not asleep yet and an important text comes in I can see it.. at least 1 of the chargers I was looking at says there's a updated one in the works to be compatible with the watch 4
I havent heard that before but yes the watch wont charge on a normal wireless charger. It has to be made for a watch. You could always go with a vertical wireless charger that also has a mount for the watch. Go with this one. I heard it works. Thats my link amzn.to/3Erzmsd
@@Develoquent I checked the link you sent me. I don't see the watch 4 specifically listed on their compatible watch list photo. It seems a lot of people complain this over heats their watch. But this does work with your watch 4? Maybe I'll give it a shot. People are saying the watch 4 uses WPC charging. That's why it won't work with most of these chargers. But I thought WPC was basically Qi.
This is the one I was looking at. On the 3rd card you'll notice the watch 4 and classic are in red and it says wait for the upgraded model. So even this one ment for watches won't work due to the changes samsung made with their watch 4 and classic.

Can you unistall or disable Samsung messages? I use Google messages instead and I wouldnt like to see in my watch useless apps

@@Develoquent i do have to add that my watch 4 classic 42mm is currently stuck in a seemingly endless boot-loop. Not even the hardware rescue or factory options seem to work as they should. Maybe I havent allowed it enough time yet. the manual states to give it several minutes so i figured 60 is should be enough but umm no no =) other than that i really do like it xD

The battery life should last all day, but If all features are on, and you are using it frequently, it might not last all day. With low use, I can last similar to the Apple watch, up to 2 days.

I havent seen the older tizen watch faces, but i would say there is a few good looking watch faces out of the box on the GW4. Although i quickly went on the search for new watch faces.
@@Develoquent I saw some of the faces from tizen in your video so I'm not too worried. Honestly I wouldn't let a watch face inhibit from buying the watch. Pre-ordered the 44mm :D
