Can’t wait to see the truck when it’s finished. Clancy’s gonna have a brand new 1984 Chevy Pickup and memories to last a lifetime. I would keep that thing forever if I were Clancy.❤
The most favorite truck I ever owned was a 1983 GMC Sierra. Still wish I had that truck.
We cannot wait either!
Good seeing Father and son working together restoring a truck. GOD bless y'all.
Thanks, you too!
Cody, I have learned when supervising people at work that they will not always do it the way I would have done it, but if the end result is the assignment or project is done correctly that is all that matters.
That's a hard lesson or Cody! LOL
Door alignment is hard to do, first thing I used to do is make a mark around entire hinge on both parts where they meet . Oh We like the little fights as it adds a bit of comedy it also shows us people learning.
I've been working on cars and trucks for 30 plus years and I've always hated to do adjustments on the doors and the doghouse. But your doing a good job. Plus it gives Clancy a trade along with ranching
100%
I’ve worked with my father for 45 years, just do what dad says, life will be happier, when he leaves do it the way you want
Right?! 😂😂
Clancy's coming into his own.As long as it works
I agree with both he and Cody on the hinges.
There's always going to be back and forth.
That's okay as long as it stays civil 😊
I'm excited to see the truck looking better every time we see it.
It’s so fun to listen to them work 😂
I’m definitely loving all the square body videos for sure!!! I definitely can’t wait for the next one to come out!!!! A little bit accomplished every day and it will be finished up before you no it!!! Remember keep up all the hard work and take your time so that you can spend more time enjoying and driving the truck instead of fixing all your mistakes and having to go back and fix them all!!!! Awesome video once again!!!!
Thank you!! More to come!
I have to agree with Cody on the table placement with the door hinges lol sorry clance
😂
Can't wait to see the Square Body done so excited for you'll. My Grandpa give me his old 85 Square body for my first truck it had a three speed on the column.
Same. We are getting closer everyday!
Great job Clancy , learning is knowledge of a lifetime journey ..
Glad to watch you both determine what is best way to approach different plans ..
God bless 🙏
Thanks 👍
Oh that’s going to be one nice truck when you’re done. Love watching you two working on it, never knew how a lot of this stuff worked and went together, it’s pretty interesting. ❤❤
Thanks for following along our journey Sharon!
I wish there were more videos from you guys on this truck. Make more truck vids
We make one every time they work on it! ❤️ They are definitely fun ones!
He who pays the bills is ALWAYS right😂 especially when I’m wrong💪 and another good one I use is, “Do as I say, not as I do”👍
YAS! lol
Very nicely done guys! I got an 84 out under a tree needing a reno. What a beaut. Love watching whatever you do! Fantastic attitude Dad! 💙🤍
Thanks for watching! It’s a fun project!
Square body Fridays! Can't wait to see it finished!
Good idea!
@@Bar7Ranch I thought it kinda had a good ring to it!! Might could throw that on a shirt also! Appreciate y'all taking us along! 🙏🙏
I’m ready to see some Of that fancy new equipment being put to work. Let’s run those things through some paces and make it groan!
I think you should have used Earl on that hinge Cody, you know better!!! Father and son working on a project together just warms my heart ❤️ I just love you guys to pieces! Love you to Erica❤
He did 😉 Thanks Jay! You’re the best!
About how the hinges are laid out on the table..........
I understand what Clancy is thinking.
However, I agree with Cody. You are not walking up to the table with your side facing the table.
You are walking up to it straight on. Therefore, as you face the table, the driver's side hinges should be on your left side. And the passenger side hinges should be on your right side.
I believe ole Clarence is calling malarkey on them only being out there for an hour 😂😂😂 22:20
I had a 78 and those doors are notorious for opening up on a hard turn. I had to replace my hinges as well.
Yikes!
It doesn't matter the orientation of the truck. It matters when you sit in the driver's seat. The right side is the right side
Pins want fix it u have to do bushings...just done it on my jeep tonight by myself...lol
pins and bushings are easier to put in and just as good of a fix.
Awesome truck is coming along great job
Thanks 👍
We e have a chevy square body dually dump truck that does alot pf work on our farm
That’s awesome! Work horse!
I'm curious what the corrugated cardboard(?) (between the firewall and fenderwell) is for?
I don't recall anything like that in my '76 or '81 Chevy pickups.
i will say both of them have different layout but Cody is right on that anyway hope truck is finish and fixed soon do more videos of the truck being fixed
We make them every time they work on it!
Cody & Erica you both look thinner. Our still eating carnivore? I was 700lbs July 10th 2023 now I'm down 300lbs as of today on carnivore diet. Love watching your channels "keep ranching".
That’s awesome! Yes we are!
That truck getting Centerlines or Crager SS rims? In 84 those where the aftermarket options other than white wagon wheels. Nobody wants white wagon wheels and it needs a Alpine stereo pronto. Keep on Wrenchin!
Him and Pete Dexter would be hilarious my papaws old friend god he’s hard headed
Does Clancy have a website for the knife shop?
Not yet but as soon as he does we will let everyone know!
Cody you keep that car nee vore diet up you and Clance will be borrying each other's clothes!!!😂 man good times a Dad and his son on a truck build you can't get more family than that ya'll keep it up stay safe out there!!!
For sure!
cody is always right and clancy is not always right
😂😂😂 bass ackwards
👍
Hi Matt!
I don't think I'd be able to work with you Cody
👍
its 2024 and your guys audio is still not coming out both sides of my headphones
Sounds like you need new headphones!
@@Bar7Ranch deff not you have your mics set to dual channel which makes one mic come out of one ear and the other out the other ear. you can duplicate the audio in your video editor so the experience is better for your headphone users
