❤ Clancey, thats how you learn, and for Coty, I know sometimes it feels you wanna jump in but your doing a great job showing him, hands on, it may take a few minuetes longer, but he will learn it for the future. We need more kids n dad's doing the same. The world would be a better place.
That is how you learn Clancy. A jack of all trades but a master of none. But the complete saying is " a jack of all trades but a master of none , but often times better than a master of one. You can learn by doing quicker than you can learn by reading. Always give everything a try. That's how we all learn. Love you boys working together and learning stuff on the fly. Great video guys. !
Love father and son chatting under the tractor. What I find hard to believe is that even though you own a dry cleaners you managed to drain all those oily fluids and not get a drop on your white shirt or $12 jeans!!! I would have been a mess!!😂
Cody I think you are the only person on YT who knows about that screen. Theres another one under the operator platform. Its usually the one that gives the most problems. The priority valve gives all the fluid to steering and brakes, if you have trouble with them two, its usually fluid supply to the front pump.
Bad news: You should plan on splitting the rears and putting in new brake disks. The strainer catches the big stuff, so when you get into that the filter is probably clogged as well. Good news: it's not a difficult job with a good ITC manual, and a way to lift the wheel/axle assembly away in a nice straight way. Cleaning the screen is only buying time, but it buys the time you need to plan for the repair. Great video!
I like that u teaching your son i was teaching my son the same way getting him to help me with thangs around the farm kinda brings a tear to my eyes sometimes wstching yall working together my son was 12 years old and got killed in a tragic accident yall keep up the good work guys
From someone who only found this channel not long ago and binged watch to try get caught up you can really see how much better shape you have gotten in from the diet especially seeing in a normal T-shirt can really tell loss good amount of weight
We had a John Deere that had the same problem and you need to take the tractor apart and fix the brakes and clean it out before the pump goes out!!! Like watching you guys work together keep wrenching!!!
That’s what’s farmers do! Just keep pulling stuff off as you go. Somethings going to show itself and hopefully it all goes back together correctly. Good job Cody. Nobody knows everything but some good ole common horse sense will get you through it!
Hey, I enjoy watching your show. I want to give you some news about your tractor. To fix this problem, you will have to rebuild your hydraulic pump. The issue is that all those particles got in the pump, messed up the o-rings, and kept your values open in the pump. Also, you will need to change those brakes. If not, you will have the same issue again soon. I have had two of 2130. They are incredible tractors. If you do that thing to that tractor, it will be in your family for a long time, and your son will be able to pass it on to his kids
Clancy takes over for Ericka messing with Cody😊 I think Cody enjoys it though 😊 Thanks for sharing on how to drain hydraulic fluid on a John Deere in a white shirt and jeans. Hope all that took care of the problem.
“I’m not gonna throw it away yet, I’m just gonna keep it.” Sounds exactly like something my Grandad said and did. 😂😂 When we cleaned out his garage we found all kinds of used & used up John Deere, Ford pickup, & Grand Marquis parts in their little baggies. There was even a labeled cardboard box full of used up spark plugs. Why he kept those, we’ll never know. 😂😂 To say Grandad was frugal would be a gross understatement. But being born in 1918 & dirt broke really forms how a person thinks and lives. Other than on vacation, I can only remember 1 frivolous purchase he ever made. He bought a cap with a black lab embroidered on it from Gebo’s. Our farm dog was a black lab named Tuffy that Grandad was some kinda attached to. In fact, they died 3 weeks apart. Anyhow, sorry about the long rambling comment. ❤&🙏🏻 from Alsdorf. Ps. I’da dropped that plug too Clancy. That hydraulic fluid came out with a quickness! Scared me sittin here on the couch I hollered! 😂😂. And I’ll say it again. Vid-og-rafin’ is what I’ll call it forevermore. Sheer brilliance!!!😂😂😂
I love hearing your stories Lee! You have a great love and remembrance of your family. And, I sure did tease Clancy when he let the video fall at the end and miss the good part of the fluid rushing out! LOL
@@Bar7Ranch I had such a good childhood and raising I can’t help but talk about it. Especially to folks who can relate! Y’all are just my kinda folks!!
10:21 Brake cleaners the worst it'll eat paint any rubber its prety bad to get it on ya I've done exactly what you did a bunch of times though, love you guys content thanks for doin what your doin Cody and Erica!
Do those micro organisms that live in diesel live in hydraulic also? By the way are you putting power service bio clean in the fuel tanks. That big tank behind you? From the comments sounds like the brakes will keep shredding off.

Clancy is a rockstar!
You do realize every time you mention Real Ranch jeans, they raise the price by a buck? It was just a couple years ago they were 8.99 a pair.
Right!! Still a pretty awesome deal!
Cant you just put your other tractor on the mixer for a couple days until you get that one fixed !!
We did!
How much weight have you lost?
50lbs!
I would just put the new nine dollar screen at four dollar for brake cleaner why not just put the new screen in
Change the filter for Pete sake
Someone didn’t finish the video 😂
@@Bar7RanchSay no more. 😂😂 Can't get good help these days. 😂😂😂
