As a former SD, Tell your Dad if he wants to come to Germany, I can give him a lot of good information on where to go! It's not as expensive as you'd think! Keep the videos coming.
Brian and Cole are LOVED and appreciated by many for their strong work ethics and humbleness! Great interviews! And the two Mrs. Sonne(s) are also appreciated.
As only a great Son, Husband, Father, and Granddad could be. The whole Sonne Family dynamics is refreshing and heartwarming. God Bless you Brain and the whole Sonne Farms and Families.
I love to listen to Brian a very intelligent man that is one of the best farmers out there he gets it done and done right. Thanks for this interview very cool
Brian has developed a superior Angus herd, worthy of recognition. This is a difficult task that often doesn’t happen for some breeders. Cole has a great mentor in Brian to teach him the business.
When I first started watching the channel I was like "Damn, those guys have really nice cows"! I didn't realize at that time that they raised and sold breeding stock. It makes sense now. Awesome looking black cattle...
Great interview, Brian. I'm 2 years older than you and I'm a music junkie too. Grow up on a dairy farm. Love your humor. Did want to add. My grandfather raised Angus in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Was amazing how many people didn't know about how good Angus beef was. He struggled at the beginning to get people to eat it. Angus have come a long ways.
Brain, Coal, and the Claves keep me coming back...and the puppers too! I love that Cole goes out in the field to give the cows treats so they'll be more comfortable around humans. One small gesture to show how much they care about their animals.
It was really nice to hear yours a Cole's interviews....learning your family history and the way things have played out...gives a whole new perspective on watching. You have a great famly...you have Alot to be proud of.....I wish the very best to all of you😊
Brian and Cole together make thier videos worth watching. They have me hooked. I grew up in a farm community and worked for a equipment dealer for a number of years and I see a different side of farming from them and I wish and Pray for there farm and all farms. Cause without their love of the land and Animals we would all starve
Yup I was talking to my Dad about when his family came to this country and having to have a sponsor family. Not at all like how it is today. Interesting story. I appreciate all of this history. Fascinating how all things come to be. Brian, you have a great sense of humor. That's a lot what I like about you and your channel.
Brian! Love your choice of artists! I remember the very first time I heard Van Halen. Running With The Devil. I was working summer fallow. That was obviously a long time ago. XT 190 Allis Chalmers. No cab, fender mount radio. I was like wow! Who was that? And Tom Petty...Got to see him one time. One of the absolute best ever! I was a drummer in a rock/country rock band for 30 years. Rock on Brian!
Brian's got great EQ.... he knew when it was 'time' and helped those guys wrap up the segment. Brian saved the best for last when he talked about raising cattle; both he and Cole follow a meticulous protocol of care and you can see it in their results.
I had this whole message about how you were treating Cole bad again, and then you really came around and gave him credit in many cases. I was REALLY impressed. Cole is one lucky guy to have a father like you.
First time to watch this podcast video and it was due to Brian Sonne being on it. He’s one of those you can BS with 30 minutes and think about all you learned for days.
exelent interview, more interviews it gives one such a realalization that there are other of us guys of our age Brian that kind of wonder what the heck these young guys are talking about good job
I know Brian says he has "nothing to do" with the RUclips stuff, but he's 100% the reason I watch!!! Sorry Cole, whenever dad retires, you might as well just hang up the YouTubing! 🤣 I know he isn't taking the memory cards, uploading footage, editing, etc. but I could just listen to him all day long! Since I saw the interview with Cole the other day (which I immediately watched in its entirety), I was so looking forward to the time I could sit and watch the Brian interview. Sad it only lasted 48 minutes. Next, the Uncle Jeff interview!?!? I feel like we don't get enough of the guy that plays "Uncle Jeff!" He seems to be just as great as the actor that plays Cole's dad!!
Brian, enjoyed your “family rated” interview. It was great seeing you and Cole (on his podcast) have more of a relaxed conversation in the podcast format. I think @SonneFarms subscribers would enjoy an extended conversation like this. I know you’ve done some episodes in the past but it would be enjoyable again. Enjoyed the family, farming and the local history. It all just brings a greater understanding of you and Cole’s love of farming and cattle raising.
--people don't realize, you people in North and South Dakota are a hardy bunch ... 40 below F in the winter? not uncommon, (whether ambiant temp or wind chill), and you still gotta get up and out the door early to feed and check on the livestock, or make sure their water supply hadn't frozen up, a tip of the hat to all of you, and keep that battery charger/tender/block heater plugged in.

Sonne Farms has become a must watch 3 times a week. Great interview.
And he didn't call it song of the day, but Brian did bring up a song! Bring back song of the day Brian! Your sense of humor kills me Brian!
I think Brian is a large reason for the success of the videos Cole does great but Brian is comic relief!
Brian and Cole are LOVED and appreciated by many for their strong work ethics and humbleness! Great interviews! And the two Mrs. Sonne(s) are also appreciated.
