I’m alright against pretty much everyone else but Guile blows me up every time, provided that it’s a halfway decent player (I’m plat 3 so it’s a real toss up between someone who gives me trouble or someone who feels like free points)
Only that Gladius is decent in midrange to trade with or absorb sonic boom. Once you can get him to stop throwing booms you can try to play regular ground game.
Everyone has a "how to beat Lily As" guide No one has a "How to beat X as Lily" guide. And there's way too many Zangief tutorials out there. Anyways, I hope I can learn how to abuse this information to my benefit as a Lily player.
Abuse the crap out of Marisa’s wake-up. Stock OD spire is really strong from up close where it can’t be reacted to, and it’s even scarier if Marisa is low on drive gauge and doesn’t want to drive reversal for fear of being burned out. Your crouch HP hits low enough to not trigger the armor on Gladius, so it’s a very good poke in the matchup.
Treat 'How to beat Lily as' guides like how you would with 'how to beat X as lily'. Zach is giving you information on what Marisa can do against you. From there it's just practicing the scenario to see what buttons are good.
Could you just video yourself doing training mode talking over it as you do it and why you're practicing the thing you're practicing? I'd find that mad useful Zach. Could work well with your self analysis vids. I like hearing the inside of your Street Fighter mind 🤙

As soon as I stop getting ran over by Rashids. In all seriousness, Broski posted a 30 minute video going over a lot of Rashid’s sequences. It’s a very good place to start if you’re struggling.

Not currently. I’ve been thinking about commentating some of my matches, but, being honest here, I can get like DSP levels of salt, so I really don’t want to stream that.
@@ZachHenke lol Aite, commentating over your matches would be awesome. Idk bout everyone else but seeing your guides in action I feel would personally help me try to translate in-game decisions that I have trouble with. If you are willing.

Lots of good information here but I would like to say that DI against the full screen wind spire and perhaps just a reminder to not be afraid to Drive Reversal should at least be mentioned. It can definitely get baited by doing a short windspire into getting DI'd back but it's worth mentioning she could bait your anti-air in the same way and DI is both easier to use and more rewarding. I do acknowledge though that you probably kept it out since DI usually loses if she does OD spire though so I understand why you may not have included it.
Good stuff to keep in mind. I do mention drive reversal a little, but I’m honestly not sure if I want to do it super often just because I think being at a drive gauge disadvantage is pretty bad.
