Can you please create a similar video about The Midleton Very Rare collection? Preferably with the Midleton Very Rare DAIR GHAELACH KILRANELAGH WOOD TREE. Thanks😊
Thank you for the whisky bottle education. The bottom of the nicer whiskies bottles are thicker. I did not know that. I have two Macallan whiskies. The 12 Sherry Oak Cast and the 18 Sherry Oak Cast. (The 18 was a retirement gift). The 18 of coarse has the thick bottom. It sure is nice!
Hi Mark - what’s your view on the new MacAllan Colour collection about to hit the market? Age statements and sherry focussed. On paper, these should be winners?
Very informative). As practice shows, almost everything becomes more expensive over time. The only question is how long it takes before the price changes perceptibly).
I agree that’s why I haven’t really been interested buying them accept I picked up some quest because why not, on another note while most whiskey have been dropping in price surprisingly Glenfarclas 30/35/40 actually have increased in price I’m definitely stocking up on more 😂
Hey. Sorry. This video was mostly addressed at people who were buying them anyway at duty free 🤣 This video is by no means an endorsement of this series - just an exploration of them 👌👍
Thanks Mark. I'm often at air and ferry ports and, frankly, 'duty free' is mainly meaningless!! There's no veritable difference between the High St and their prices. Anyway, I concur with your salient point - if it's a bargain, and buy something else. Bowmore, Glen Scotia, Tomatin, Craigellachie, and Balvenie, for examples, are all very good quality liquids!
I have a bottle of Terra No2 ! And Enigma. In fact drinking the Enigma with a little water at this moment. Whisky is to drunk not put away for a rainy day. How Scrooge and Screwed like is that ! Enjoy them as I do. Each has its merits but I THINK? I prefer the Terra !! Slainte !!
Can only comment on ones I have tried together with fellow whisky geeks. Quest tastes decent, Lumina is useless. As always if investing, look for an age statement unique bottling. If drinking, why pay more for a Macallan? P.s. blue label is tasteless, green label much nicer with that light peat!

"It wood be a nice bottle to display"
Well played, nice pun.
Great video Mark. Thank you for going deeper into the boxes for us. Much appreciated.
Thanks Mark. Really enjoy your videos and insight
Love the “more glass” mist be better😂
Solid video Mark. Been a fan for a while now. I hope to see more new videos!
How about Macallan Home Collection 1 and 2.. Are they good for investing?
Great video!
Glad you liked it 👍👌
Great video Mark. The key points were explained well. 👌
Where would you fit in the Aurora? Marketing wise and visual appearance I would place this between Quest and Lumina
Hi Mark - what’s your view on the new MacAllan Colour collection about to hit the market? Age statements and sherry focussed. On paper, these should be winners?
Macallan made a joke of this travel exclusive when they sold it direct from their website up until a couple of years ago,
I picked up the enigma for 130$ a few years back
Love your videos. But how do you know how much each whiskey is gonna grow in value?
I’m at the Tower of London - Spey Royal Choice, is this any good for an investment? Cheers

You've always said an age statement is better than NAS. Why have you changed your mind?

I own all but the most expensive, very good.

I can think of better bottles to spend my hard earned cash on… another marketing ploy by MacCallan for the FOMO market.
"more glass" so better quality spirit, seriously ? Sadly it is overpriced watered down as Macallan standard...
You should take my statements with a large dose of sarcasm 🤣
